They scheduled to do the work and they never came to do the work.

Mac arrived on time. He was systematic and thorough. Had interesting information on what is code now for new homes. Answered all my questions. Exceeded expectations.

A guy came initially and gave an estimate. He estimated the work would take about two hours. When the worker came, he was very angry because he did not want to try and fish the wire in. He did not try to complete the work properly. Finally, he was able to finish the work but he disconnected my dryer vent in the process. He did not double check his work or discuss it with me. He then explained he could not repair my dryer vent. I was not pleased with the service. The worker was not easy to work with.

Technician arrived on time. He made suggestions for the final positioning of the can lights. He was able to install the lights on the first floor of a colonial without opening any extra holes, other than the 6 holes for the cans. Made a minimal mess, cleaned up well. The entire job took about 3 hours. We were very pleased with the final product.

The rep that came out behaved extremely oddly. He showed up an hour and a half late, without calling and kept telling stories that went on and on if I asked any questions.. He even tried to drumb up business with the furnace company I had there on my time! This is a husband and wife time. I had spoke with the wife on the phone, who is a master electriction and she sounded wonderful, but her husband was the one that came out. He took notes the whole time, but had to call back twice to verify what he had done today. He gave several different estimates for the total cost of the project. I later found out that I only have 100AMP to my home, so I couldn't even use the 200AMP electrical panel, but he didn't say anything about that and kept focusing on the 200AMP panel. What he was doing was a " electrical safety inspection", but all he did was use the three pronged electrical tester that you would use to test if an outlet worked, which I already had and knew my outlets were fine. I also had some small electrical jobs for around my home that I wanted a quote on, but all he would tell me is that they charge $75 for parts and labor and not an actual estimate of the cost. I have since asked for a refund of my Big Deal purchase.

The experience was good. They had two people doing the work. The lead guy did a great job and did majority of the work.

They are such a good company. They are responsive, they show up on time, and they are efficient. They are also knowledgeable and preform amazing work. I will continue to use their services. Their price is also reasonable.

We received great service from Mac Electric. We used a promotion for the set number of hours of electical service for a set price. When the gentleman had finished everything that I asked him to do he could have left and I would have been very satisfied. However, he said that I still had time left that was paid for so what else could he do for me. He looked as some recessed lights that I had questions about changing, told me what I would need and what the job would entail. Great service!

Very good job and they were nice. He did his job and I can’t say anything bad about it!

We purchased a big deal to have two ceiling fans installed. After three weeks of leaving messages with the office, I finally got an appointment. An hour after my scheduled time, I called the office and was told that he wouldn't be able to come that day. Was rescheduled for the following day. He arrived two hours late. After spending about an hour and a half in the house looking at the ceilings, and taking down the existing light fixtures, he informed me that the price would be close to four times what I had paid for the big deal, and that he couldn't complete the work that day. I was not confident that he would be able to safely install ceiling fans in my children's bedrooms. Therefore, I did not have him come back to complete the work. Angie's list was very accommodating, and they refunded my money without any hassle.

This is the 2nd time I've tried to get service through Angies List and after the 1st "no show" by a tree service...I was hesitant to try again. So glad this one worked out. The gal called me within a day to set up an appointment (I'm sorry I don't remember your name) and on that date, Nick showed up on time and performed everything I had on my list. He was pleasant, professional and didn't appear to get annoyed as I followed him around asking questions. All-in-all, I was very pleased and would use them in the future for any additional electrical work I might need.

They knew exactly where to discreetly place the boxes so that they wouldn't be visible. The cords were will hidden too. They were punctual, professional and efficient. Would definitely use them again!

Bad experience, company does not return calls, it is obvious to me, they do not need the business, and are not very responsible. I left three messages on three different days, not return call. Not a company I would even think of doing business with

I prepurchased two hours of service from Mac Electric. I called them and scheduled the service work. I did have to wait three weeks to get an appointment but fortunately that was not a problem. The electrician was very professional. He moved.a light switch and removed two outlets that I did not need. He also installed a new junction box. The walls were already open due to the renovations. The electrician finished the work in two hours and left the bathroom very clean. I will definitely call them again for electrical work.

Paid for their coupon for 6 hours of electrical labor. I paid extra for the wiring for 3 circuits - they worked 4 hours and left. After I called MAC to discuss the 4 hours, their electricians returned a couple of weeks later and completed 2 more hours of work. I'm happy.

He added a plug and lighting fixture to an existing circuit that included a island lighting, The Island light was discovered later in the evening was no longer working. Took two weeks for the company to return which was totally unsatisfactory...........Remember my kitchen was in total darkness for two weeks. Came back worked several hours which he charged me for and did not resolve the problem.............

They got the job done but failed to warn me that they would go way over the free time. The final bill was both a nasty surprise and way too much for the actual project they completed.

Not much to add above on "how did it go overall". I clicked the deal button on Angie's list, got a confirmation #, made the call to the electrical company, made the appointment, they came out and did the job. Not too much involved to install an electrical plug other than the company did what they said they would for the price they quoted.

It was easy to set up an appointment. They arrived on time, and listened to the problem. The electrician went outside and checked things there, then came in and checked the switch. It was broken, so he checked to see if he had the part. He did, and repaired the switch. That took about 20 minutes. I asked him to look at my fan; it had a slight bobble. He did, and said it was fine. The bobble was due to its hanging from a rod. He asked if i had anything else; i didn't have anything on my mind. He left.

They were very unresponsive. I called them about four times and they never returned my calls. There was no explanation on why they never called me back as well. I had to go through Angie's List to get a refund on this Big Deal I had purchased.

I was very pleased and they were very helpful every step of the way. I would use them again and would recommend them to others.
