IT went fie. We got a list and are fixing what needed to be corrected.

jSeveral weeks later after we had selected them as the vendor, Debbie came out with the team performing the work along with the owner of the company to help lay out the scope of work for the team and ensure that they had everything they needed to complete the work. While onsite, Terry and John were absolutely professional and competent in their execution of the job. Any time they entered and exited the house they took the time to cover their boots with shoe covers so they did not track dirt on the freshly refinished floors. If they had questions about anything since this was a complete rip and replace electrical job, they were polite and professional. When they finished, the switches looked excellent and the quality of their work looked amazing. A couple of weeks after the job finished they followed up to get the inspection done. The inspector that came out onsite said that he was personally very familiar with their work and had nothing but good things to say about their work. The inspection went very smooth and was approved without incident. I have nothing but good things to say about Macson. We are going to be finishing a kitchen and will have Macson do the electrical work for that as well.

First, scheduling was a challenge. Their was an issue with the phone number for the company. We even had to contact Angie's List to get the correct number. We explained our situation (old hard-wired system) to the scheduler who said she took notes and made the appointment. The technician came out to do the work and showed-up as scheduled. He quickly identified that we had a pre-installed hard-wired system (as we explained to the scheduler) and said that he couldn't do the work as this was not contemplated i the Angie's List promotion. Instead, he took notes of our system and took it back to the company to work up a quote. Well, we had to call the company for the quote (which they eventually provided) and they applied the AL promotion to a portion of the work. In the end, we were satisfied with the work that was performed and felt we were treated fairly on price. The overall process and experience was just ok. Our biggest issue is that both my wife and I work so multiple schedulings and having to track down the company was not convenient.

I was disappointed with how the employee left you basement. I have a large work out area with a cushioned matting on the floor about 12 feet by 15 feet. Here were dirty footprints all over the mat. They had removed a small portion of brick and mortar to re-do some wiring leading to the outdoor outlet. The remnants of the brick and mortar were left on the floor. I had been instructed I would receive a call with my permit number so I could schedule an inspection. I did not received that call. I had made 3 - 5 calls to the office and spoke with various people (Debbie, Mac, and the receptionist) and it was not until March that I finally received the permit number.

They didn't have the tools to do the right job so I'm the one who had to pay for their mistake. They seemed like they were doing their own thing, they didn't listen to me. I gave them a general idea of where I wanted the outlets installed and they disregarded my instructions. They should have been more attentive to detail.

I bought two dimmer switches to install myself. When I removed the old switches it was a rats nest in there and the wire nuts holding the wires were not correctly done. So I called a company listed on Angie's List and they came out 2 days later to fix the problem. I and my wife feel safer now that the job was done correctly.

The technician Bobby listened well when I described what I wanted. He worked efficiently. The five items that he either installed or fixed are working fine. He cleaned up afterwards and hauled away the old range hood.

Very efficient. Arrived on time, had everything he needed and it was all great. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

I had two wall switches installed in the basement to replace the pull chain switches on two lights. The electrician showed up promptly at the appointment time. He was polite, covered his shoes each time he came and went out of the house and did not leave a mess to clean up. He performed his work expediently and I paid the exact price that was quoted. I would definitely use this service provider again and would recommend their services to family and friends.

The service worked out wonderfully! In fact, we called them back for additional work.

I am very satisfied with MAC Electric. I have used them 6 times in the past and will continue in the future. Keep up the good work!

This company now goes by Macson Electric. They were an hour late. The work was sloppy. They left wood shavings all over my basement and property. They left hand prints on my aluminum trim. Just after lunch, the installer told me they would be done within the hour. However, they did not finish until three hours later. At the end of the job, they tried to charge me $90.00 more than I agreed for the original estimate. I had to argue with the woman at their office. In the end, I still paid $60.00 more than I originally agreed. The job passed inspection, but their work was nothing impressive. Their professionalism (company wide) is lacking. I have more work to do, but they will not be the company that I hire. If you want an average price, with mediocre work, and really poor customer service, hire them.

They were prompt and very good. The workman was fast and he knew what he was doing. It was really easy to schedule with them too.

I would not buy the special service coupons.

.Technicians were excellent , efficient and more knowledgeable than owner of company. Had occasion to have Mac Electric bid on another lighting job and they never followed through. Will never use them again.

They were polite and pleasant. They came out on time. They did the job and cleaned up after themselves. I am happy with the company. I had a problem afterwards and they came back the next day and corrected it and everything was fine.

The gentleman showed up when he said he would. He seemed like a nice guy but didn't say much. He installed the outlet in short order. He did left a mess outside.

Great initial followup by the company to schedule my job; came on time and worked hard throughout two hours to accomplish everything on my list. Gave me recommendations for future items we couldn't accomplish as I didn't have the materials to replace a fixture and to replace a motion sensor outdoor light. Very professional, friendly, and I have recommended them to others, will have them again for future work.

They showed up on time and were quick to work. I plan on having them come back to replace the attic fan and install an automatic timer for my porch lights.

THEY DID NOT DO ANY WORK. TRY USING YOUR MONEY FRO SOME REAL IT PEOPLE WHO KNOW HOW TO DESIGN A DATABASE. i AM GETTING TIRED OF HAVE TO FILL OUT REVIEWS EVERY TIME I LOOK AT ONE OF YOUR VENDORS. i THEY DO SOME WORK - NO PROBLEM. OTHERWISE QUIT SENDING ME THESE SENSELESS E-MAILS.

This experience was even better than I expected. The electrician,John, that came out was competent worked quickly and was very friendly. He and his helper replaced 12 sockets and 3 light switches. They finished the job in just under two hours. The only extra expense I paid was for the materials. The $67.00 dollars I paid included two GFI plugs for the kitchen. When I callled to make the appointment I was asked if I wanted to buy the materials from them or supply my own. I was very impressed that when they were done with the work, they double checked all the sockets. They discovered that one of the GFI plugs were bad and repaced it immediately. I also asked John to give me an estimate to replace my fuse box with a panel with circuit breakers. He said that he would look at it and call the office and they would get back with me. They called me with a fair estimate within 30 minutes after the electricians left. I would definitely use this company again!

This is the second time we used them. They were very good. They knew what they were doing. They were very efficient. They were very knowledgeable. They explained what they were doing. We didn't have to worry about anything else being broken or knocked down. They were very careful and cleaned up after themselves. We would have them again if we needed any electrical services.

They came on time and were dependable. It was great deal.

Overall, the experience was very positive. I made the appointment in advance. The electrician called ahead to tell me he was on his way and arrived shortly thereafter. Everything went very well. He adjusted the installation of the light switch for me since it appeared a little crooked but that was a minor issue. The only comment that I would make is that as he was trying to remove the plastic shield from the outdoor security light fixture, he cracked it. I was standing right there when he did it but he never said anything - just kept working and finished the installation. At that point, since it had already cracked, there wasn't much I could do about it. The light works fine and the shield is still in place. Just worry that in the future, if someone "tweaks" it the wrong way, it could crack all the way and then I wouldn't have a light shield to protect the bulb. I would use MAC Electric again. All the work was completed in a timely fashion and he cleaned up after himself and even took all the boxes and debris with him.

Fast and efficient. Good work. No bait and switch. Honest, very good people.
