when I called to set an appointment up we couldn't

After running a space heater for several hours one day, the overhead lights in our family room, kitchen, dining room and basement stairs stopped working. There were also several outlet plugs in those same rooms that stopped working as well. We were unsuccessful in solving the problem by resetting the breaker box, so we called Macson Electric. During my first call to Macson, I was told that they did not have any available appointments for several weeks. After contacting several other places, I decided to call back a few days later and was able to schedule an appointment for the following week. The electrician, John, came to our home at the scheduled time. He covered his shoes immediately upon entering the house. He inquired about the electrical problems we were facing, he examined the lights and outlets that were not working and examined the breaker box. He tested the breaker box and all outlets and lights in our home to try and figure out the problem. He assessed the situation and informed us that the space heater was not the cause of the problem. There was a break in the wiring and John was able to fix the wiring that was causing the problems. He fixed the problem without tearing down walls or causing damage to our home, and at a very affordable price, which was my main concern. John was very polite, thorough, and he kept us informed of everything that he was doing. He was conscience of time, and kept us informed about the amount of time needed to complete the work as it related to cost. We are very pleased with the service that we received from John and Macson Electric. We have several other minor electrical problems and we plan to use Macson again in the near future to correct those problems.

First electrician came out and said the surge protector could not be installed because there were no extra slots, then said he could move one breaker and install above the panel, but would need to come back with addtional equipment, with an additonal charge of $45.00. Second electrican came back and installed surge protector above the panel, with no additional charge.

he arrived on time. did what he needed to do. then cleaned up and left. was very pleased with the service and would most definitely call macson again for other electrical work.

I was happy with the service. I was happy with their promptness and the quality of their work.

I called on a Monday morning. Recieved a quote by Monday afternoon and scheduled the work for the following morning. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. I will definitely recommend them to friends.

He did a good job. I never used them again because I found a new company on Angie's List. He was absolutely excellent for what he did. It was a really good promotional thing for him because I see he probably made a lot of business done. The only reason we didn't call him back is that it was 2 years ago and we kinda forgot about him.

The service person was OK, not particularly knowledgeable. She said she would provide a full report. We never received anything.

He installed a new breaker box and all new breakers. They ended up installing the breaker for the furnace backwards so it was turned off when it indicated that it was turned on. We ended up hiring another electrician to fix this.

Excellent work and the updated equipment has come in very handy.

The job turned out great, it's a huge improvement to the lighting in both rooms.

The provider was friendly and efficient. He did an excellent job and I would certainly recommend their services to anyone. The ONLY downfall was the job had to be scheduled out further than I would have liked due to "an overwhelming response to the Angie's list deal," which is understandable. Overall, great company.

Communication with Macson was always prompt. Unfortunately despite several requests to communicate via email, we were always contacted by phone. This was somewhat inconvenient for me, but maybe not for everyone. The electrician was knowledgeable, work was done weIll, explanations clear.

Bobby arrived on time and was very professional. He completed the job quickly, cleaned up his mess, and walked me through the job when he was done. We will certainly use Macson the next time we need an electrician.

Work went great. Only issue was that the deal didn't have specifics. I had to put the outdoor outlet where I had A indoor outlet. Wanted it somewhere else but found out from service man that it would cost more than the agreed to "deal". Oh well... Still works great.

Amazing service from my first call to them through completion of the two day project. Their estimator was prompt and friendly. They called the day before to confirm the appointment. The guys were on time and so nice to work with. The work they did was just perfect in our estimation. At the end of each day they cleaned up any mess that was made and they made sure to see if I had any questions for them. My husband and I highly recommend Macson Electrical and will use them again for a couple more projects we have coming up. I wish we could give them a better grade than "A".

I found another provider who came out the same day and corrected the issue.

He was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous and would definitely use again in the future. He even re-routed duct work at no extra cost.

The electrician showed up on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up after himself.

Terrible, I won't use the provider or Angies List in the future. How do I cancel?

What was really good was that he explained what needed to be done and what could be done from my side. They were good. We had purchased a big deal and the price of the deal was good.

I would describe my experience with Macson Electric LLC as very positive. They were very professional, on time, and cleaned up afterwards. They were helpful in describing how the new fan worked.

The only problem was they needed a part to perform one of the repairs. They were supposed to call me when they found out the cost so I could decide whether to proceed, I never received a call. No matter I sold the house without making the optional repair. But they should have called.

The technician stopped by took a look asked me no questions about if I wanted anything specific or any options. He just told me he would provide an estimate ASAP on expensive, middle and cheaper fans. It has been 3 weeks and I am still waiting.
