Description of Work: I scheduled an appointment a week in advance. The scheduled appointment day and time came and went. I was not called to be informed that my appointment would not be kept. After 1.5 hours past my appointment time, I called the company's phone number and left a message. My call was not returned until 2 days later. The woman on the phone said she received my message and that the office was closed the following day and that is why no one returned my call more timely. She then had the audacity to tell me that the electrician that was assigned to give me an estimate, Nick, tried to call me several times before and after my appointment time but the line rang busy. The woman then told me when Nick could not get a hold of me, she also tried to call, getting the same result (2 different phones mind you). I believe her statements are flat out lies!! Prior to my scheduled appointment and subsequent to the time, I made and received calls on my cell phone. In my opinion, there is no way that two different lines got busy signals when all other calls came thru (and went out) without issue. I believe that was just the woman's response in an attempt to provide a 'reasonable' explanation as to why I had a "no call, no show" appointment. After telling such "tall tales", the woman had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to reschedule. I would have to be absoultely crazy to do business with an organization that has demonstrated they can not be truthful, and therefore - not trusted!!

Description of Work: Replacement of fan control switch and replacement of outside light fixture.

Description of Work: The Mac Electrician, David, installed the above-mentioned motion-sensing light on the left side of our garage door, where such a device used to be untl it was destroyed (we already have one on the right side). Ours is a detached garage, sitting towards the back of the property. When I contacted Mac, I was told David would call around 11am on the day of the installation; however, his 1st job of the day was cancelled by the homeowners upon his arrival, so he called shortly after 8, and was over within 1/2 hour. After the installation, David also spent a good amount of time adjusting the aim of the two lights so that I wouldn't be blinded by them as I pull up my driveway and into the garage. He also replaced a broken bulb in the existing motion-sensing light. When I called Mac Electric to schedule the job, I also asked if they could repair 3 broken ceiling bulbs & sockets in our basement, and install string cords on them, too. Once he was finished with the motion-sensing light work, David then proceeded to do these repairs, which took an additional 1/2 an hour to perform. He worked very independently on both tasks: I just had to show him where everything was, and I returned to watching TV - uninterrupted until David was ready to leave. PS-The reason the charge was greater than $99 was for the parts and labor involved with the basement light socket repairs.

Description of Work: THEY REPLACED A LIGHT FIXTURE ON MY GARAGE WITH A MOTION SENSING LIGHT FIXTURE.

Description of Work: Mac Electric didn't show up at our house for our appointment that we scheduled a week in advance. My husband called approximately 30 minutes after the scheduled time and left a message with his phone number to call back. The next day we received a call that they tried to call but had our phone number written down wrong. I'm really not sure how this is possible as they called us back at least twice the previous week in order to schedule the appointment and we left our phone number with our message on the day of the appointment. We are choosing to go with a different company now because if there are issues with scheduling a simple appointment to come out and give us a quote I really don't want to work with them and worry if they're going to show up when it's time to do the actual work.

Description of Work: debbie came out they did a very nice job and it happened that i had my central air installed and alladdin also uses them and again another nice job

Description of Work: I purchased Angies Big Deal to install a whole house surge protector with Mac's as the provider. The gentleman from Mac's was prompt, courteous and professional and answered all my questions about the service/item he installed. I was very pleased and I would definetly use Mac's again for any future electrical service I require
