Description of Work: waterproofing multistep system. Good work, professional workers, completed as scheduled. Too early to rate how effective system is, guess it is doing what it should at this point. Think I should have shopped around a little more because this system is definitely overpriced. Feeling disappointed because I was sort of duped by the sales pitch.

Description of Work: Everdry dug around the foundation of our home on the inside and outside to tar and put a drain around. They took every care to protect our entryway, stairs, furniture downstairs and the plants on the outside. They were punctual and worked very hard. The job was complete in 3 days.

thorough explanation of all repair option. Crew arrived on time and we surveyed home together and selected location for sump and drywell. Took great care with plants and bushes and lawn. All plants replaced and are intact almost 2 months later. All interior items were covered in visquen to protect from dust. Only problem was tape they used to put plastic up removed the picture from some of the paneling. Basement was cleaner after they were done. .Biggest problems was city inspection. Construction and plumbing were done during and final on last dat, or so we thought. We were told electrical would be done later. Sub scheduled with city and sent ups a letter. No one showed and city claimed contractor cancelled. On reschedule day construction and plumbing inspectors showed up again claimeding theyneeded to do a final. electrical showed up finally. What a system
Description of Work: Inside basement perimeter drain with sump pump. Air circulating system. electrical for both. Installed outide perimeter drain to a drywall. waterproofed wall exposed.Dug one wall crack to footing and repaired.

They are excellent. They do great work. They were thorough in making sure my basement is moisture proof and waterproof. It was awesome. I'm very pleased with the job. I would for sure use them in the future. Be careful of their salespitch. They are true sales persons who like to start out with a high price but once you hem and haw they will quickly come down ! They tried to make me feel guilty about how far down I got them but I knew the game and wasn't about to be oversold. A job that first was pitched at $16000 + was done for just over $12000

I used Everdry Waterproofing to waterproof my basement 15 years ago. Today, they came and replaced the water pump and did some additional water proofing for no charge. I pay about $35.00 a year for a warranty, which covered all the repairs. They are awesome, and I can highly recommend their services.

Everdry was one of 7 companies that gave me an estimate. Their sales pitch included situations which I consider and quot;red flagsand quot; when it comes to hiring a contractor. The first thing was their repeated pushing of the financing that they offer. The second was the and quot;sign now and we'll offer a X% discountand quot; that was offered when my jaw dropped at their initial estimate. (An ultimatum... are you serious???) Finally, the call a week later came the call from the owner/manager/etc who wanted to come by check out the job and possibly offer me an even bigger discount. Their initial estimate was $16,600.which was almost three times the next highest estimate.
Description of Work: Basement walls were wet. No flowing water, though. They offered to dig down 18" next to the basement wall and seal it, and all the way down when cracks are found. If no crack, the basement walls would not be sealed. This would capture rain water and send away from house. Then inside the basement, they would cut out the floor near the walls and install a drainage system going to a sump pump.

Randy arrived from Everdry and looked over the basement with water coming through the cracks in the floor. He sat in our kitchen and explained about the foundation failing, and mold being a big concern. we needed the whole package of exacavation inside and outside, new drains and a sump pump. All was covered in their patented system that only they could provide. He looked up a relative and a friend that had the Everdry system and asked if they were satisfied. We did not want to sign any contracts until we had 3 estimates and he was upset that we would not sign that night. He offered a discount if we would go on a "on call list". So the price would be reduced from $15,000 to $12,500. he pulled out diagrams and used colored sharpies to push his point. He left and never called back to see if we wanted to have the work done. He was a very pushy salesman. The next estimate advised us to clear the storm drain and that took care of the problem!

I have an older house that was built in 1927. There were cracks developing in the walls. I needed my whole foundation redone, so they were able to restore it at a reasonable price. It went great. They were very knowledgeable. They came out and talked with me. The owner and manager of the store financed me for the project with no interest. I thought that was really nice. They are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Description of Work: They fortified the foundation and installed a sump pump and air purifier in the basement.

The inspector came out when I began having leaks in my basement bathroom. He said they missed a line while waterproofing. They should have put a line from my bathroom to my steps, so I had to have it all dug out. I had just installed new tile after they had finished the work, and now because I had to dig out the additional line they missed, my bathroom floor is half new tile and half concrete. It looks terrible, and when I contacted them they said they are not responsible. It is their fault that they missed the line, and I should not have to pay to replace the tile I had just installed. They overcharged and did not do the work properly. Their secretary does not know anything about what is going on, and I just want to talk to Mike Flint and have him repair the tile. I am very unhappy with them and would not use them again.

Response from EverDry Waterproofing of S.E. Michigan
Her complaint is very clear. Everdry cut through my floor tile and didn't replace them. She asked at the time of the sale NOT to work in the bathroom because the floor tiles were new. We honored her request but pointed out that if there was a problem in the future the ONLY way to correct it was to cut through the tile. Additionally, we pointed out on her contract that we do not replace floor tile as part of our waterproofing services. Some time later she experienced a problem in the bathroom where we did not work. We once again pointed out that the tile will have to be removed to correct the problem. We have waterproofed over 10,000 basements and this is the only customer who doesn't understand we can't "wave a magic wand" to fix the basement. This was not only explained, it was in writing in several different places. I would like you to look at the other six postings of which four are all rated "A" and the other two a "B." This should give you a much better idea of our services over that of one customer. Jeffrey Schleuning-President

They worked quickly and cleaned up their mess completely 12 years ago. They have a $35 a year warranty system that will provide free sump pump changes when they wear out. My sump pump runs every ten minutes, more when it's been raining heavily, so they change out my pump every few years. They're always on time, always professional, and my dogs adore Rudy, who comes to clean out the rust from the drains every six months. I definitely recommend this company for any basement waterproofing need.
Description of Work: Everdry did a complete basement waterproofing. They dug a trench around the entire house, coated the walls with tar, installed a drain to drain water away from the house, then dug a trench around the walls inside the house to drain water into a sump pump and buried the drain line 50 feet to the bottom end of the yard.
