Description of Work: I obtained an X-finity/Comcast cable phone number displayed in an e-mail from my former CLEAR internet service provider (CLEAR is discontinuing services and listed a number for Comcast-X-finity repeatedly in their e-mails to their customers). I called the Comcast/X-finity # given, obtained Comcast/X-finity service, and was told I must purchase a wireless router for the service and wait until the router arrived to connect my service. I was told not to worry - my Comcast/X-finity billing wouldn't start for another month so I had time to wait for the router to connect services. The x-finity advisor I spoke with today told me the router is not sold by them and billing began as soon as I received my Comcastcable TV shipment. As I was provided with erroneous information by phone, today's service provider was able to have some of the costs that I was told I would not have to pay deducted from a future bill. I am satisfied with this compromise. Thank you.

Description of Work: Had an inspector in neighborhood and talked to him about their installer putting the cable under our roofing (prior to us owning the house) they said they'd have someone call us within a week to schedule and appointment. No one ever called, we called several times and they never showed up to do the work, nor ever called. By then it got cold outside and I didn't want a contractor on the roof, we'll try again this year.
