He would do really good with small jobs but I would not recommend him. He does not have very good help working under him. Some of his help had attitudes and were not on time. The service providers himself though is very polite.

He explained exactly what he was doing and why and was very efficient and professional. This is our first experience with Gill plumbing. I would definitely use them again and ask for Gary. Our old plumber's phone person said the job would require two different crews and would take two days to get them both here. Gary was here promptly and did the whole job in less than two hours. Big thumbs up on this one!

The burner for my water heater has been having issues for the past few weeks and finally got to the point where it would no longer stay lit. I called Gill Plumbing hoping they would be able to come out the same day to repair/replace. I was surprised and pleased when Jim told me that they would be able to come out and replace the water heater that afternoon. Gill prefers to use Bradford White water heaters, and while a little more expensive, are more reliable than other competing products on the market. They were fine and good. They knows everything. They are the best. They came right on time.

The furnace stopped working the second weekend in January. My husband called 2 local Heating & Plumbing companies (we always try to stay with local businesses) to come out & give estimates for new furnace & adding central air. Both were prompt and professional, and although we did not go with the lower estimate, my husband preferred the type of high-efficiency furnace recommended by Gill Heating & Plumbing. They began working on the furnace installation 2 days after signing the contract, and finished the next day. The workers were courteous, professional, and neat as they worked. They arrived at the time they said they would, and finished at a reasonable time, as well. They had to wait for better weather conditions to complete the air conditioner installation, so it was a few weeks before that could be completed, but as soon as the weather was okay, they had it complete in one day. The thermostat was explained in detail so that we could operate the system easily.

My shower faucet had been leaking, so I called to see if someone could come out to look at it. I called on Friday morning and they were able to squeeze me in and come out same day (they said they could do it because I was local). He took apart the faucet and replaced some old washers and was able to stop the leak. He offered to replace my diverter for a price that was comparable to competitors, but I was just looking for an inexpensive fix at the moment. The only negative part of my experience was that I was told they were going to call ahead of time, but they just showed up. I will be using them in the future.

I can't recommend these guys enough. Whether you get Gill himself, or his assistant, you'll be in good hands. They always do good work. Not too expensive, prompt and responsive.

He seemed knowledgeable. He looked at everything and presented us with a chart about how other homes in the area were set up. He explained what he could do, which included breaking up the floor from the inside. We chose another company whose estimate did not require us to break up the inside flooring. His estimate was higher than the others, too. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and professional, we just went with someone else.

Company arrived as promised, examined and estimated the cost of the work to be done. Completed the work in a timely manner, for the amount quoted and cleaned up the work area leaving it as found. A very professional service, beginning to end.

Although he came out to do an estimate, it was clear the job was not big enough for him. He told me to do some things myself. Well, if I wanted to do the work myself, I would have never called. My brother had the same experience with this company. Regular home repair work does not interest them, they would do much better if they would market themselves to corporations or apartments/condos.

Responded rapidly to urgent call in cold weather. Arrived within a few hours. Had the part needed. Did repairs in a timely fashion. Serviceman very polite.

They did the best job they could on old pipes. They say the pipe needs replacing, but it is not the kind of thing they do, but gave good advice on how to get an estimate, where and what the actual problem is and what to expect.

They were efficient and their clean up was nice. They came out when they said they would. I was pleased with their work. The approximate cost broke down to $175 for the drain cleaning and $520 for the other work that they did. I would hire them again.

The jobs were very well done. We have had no problems. Their response time was good and they showed up at the appointed time that they were supposed to. It did not take him long to get the job done. They were very courteous and very professional about what they did.

They are a very courteous company and work in an efficient way. They gave me a quote when they came out and stuck with it. There were two workers on the site and they kept the area very neat. Overall a professional company to work with.

I woke in the middle of the night to hear water running in my year old home. It took me a few minutes to realize the leak was coming from my backup sump pump which was spurting water onto my basement ceiling. Luckily, it appeared the leak has been going on only a few hours as I had only minor damage to some items stored on the basement floor. After shutting off the water supply, I called several plumbing companies, several which never responded to my call that day. Gill Plumbing said they was able to send someone over the next morning. They appeared promptly as they said and the work was completed with an upgraded pump in just a few hours. They cleaned up after themselves and said I was lucky as the original pump was cheap and defectively installed.when the home was built. I was not able to compare prices, so I don't know if this was a good price or not, as it was an emergency repair. I was very satisfied with their work and will call them again if I need any other plumbing done.

Best quote received out of 4 plumbers. Worker and owner great to work with. Extremely quick and job was well done.

The plumber was on time for the initial inspection. The actual repair date had to be rescheduled due to a death in my family. They came back when I had time available. The system now operates as it should. Their representative was friendly and informative. I would highly recommend this firm.

THIS IS AN INCREDIBLY FAST COMPANY IN TERMS OF RESPONSE. THEY ALSO SENT SOMEONE TO SPEAK SPANISH SO I COULD UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM AND INFORMATION. I FEEL THAT THE PRICE WAS VERY FAIR. THEY WERE QUITE A NICE AND FRIENDLY COMPANY.
