He was a little early and finished in about 20 minutes. suggested a few ways to save $ while still maintaining the HVAC systems well.

Sewer line and the whole house draining as normal and working properly by 4p. They were great, courteous, cleaned up the mess and the price was terrific. We will call Gill Plumbing for any and all of our needs!

They charged me 142.00 to tell me they could not fix it.

Everything was perfect. He was right on time and got right to it. He gave me a list of things that should be repaired in the future.

I think the work went well enough; I wasn't even here...my husband was. I was surprised to learn that two plumbers came for a seemingly routine job, so felt I was paying double labor. I had already purchased the retro refit kit and all they supplied were a couple of fittings and about 8 inches of copper tubing. $80 for parts! Ouch! I can't imagine what it would have cost had I not already purchased the refit kit for an additional $350. All in all, though, they did do a good job and I was please with their plumbing and would recommend them to someone again. I would even call them myself because they did do a good job and that's really what matters.

They were one of the few people that I could find that would even do it. He did a good job. He came when he said, and had a good product. I didn't have any problems at all.

Gill plumbing was great. I woke up to water all over my floor and called them right away. They came out that day and accessed the problem. Apparently the water line to my refrigerator cracked. It took him no time to shut the water off and replace the line. He was very professional and efficient. I would call gills plumbing again

I contacted Gill plumbing to set up a free estimate to see how much it would cost to replace my shower fixtures and two leaking hose bibs on the side of my house. An appointment was easy to set up for the afternoon and they arrived right on time for the appointment. Jim, the owner, came out personally to do the estimate and was very prompt and thorough when looking over the job. He suggested I replace my two shut off valves to the leaking hose bibs as well since they had a minor drip leak from the stem when opening and closing them. After giving me a very fair and honest estimate, I decided to go with Jim's company. I set up an appointment for early morning of the following week and they arrived right on time to start the work. Jim was present during the whole job and had an apprentice working with him as well. He was very good to explain the work being done and they did it all in a quick and efficient manner. They had to solder and replace certain pieces of the copper plumbing and they cleaned up very well once they were finished and the price of my estimate was exactly what I paid for the job. All told, I got new shower fixtures installed with new shut off valves for that. I received two new hose bibs on the exterior of the home and two new ball valve shut offs for each. About 20 minutes after they left I noticed a leak from the vacuum breaker on one of my new hose bibs outside. I called Gill plumbing and they got in touch with Jim who called me right back. I told him it was not an immediate issue and after finishing up another local job, he returned promptly to assess the problem and noticed the vacuum breaker hadn't been fully tightened. He retightened the breaker and was on his way. Everything is working perfectly and there are no leaks from any of the piping or valves. I would recommend Gill plumbing and will use them in the future for any plumbing needs.

the night of july 4th, my sewer drain backed up in the basement preventing us from using the only toilet in the house. We figured we were screwed till monday due to the holiday weekend - called Gill's the next morning (around 8:30) and someone was there to fix it by 10:30am. Appears the clean-out had not been opened since the house was built in the 60s (as it was enclosed in a wall), needed 45' of snake to break up the build up caused by ~50 years of crap. The job was done very swiftly and professionally. Great price for prompt service!

I submitted a message to be contacted regarding some work at my house; I never received a response.

Reset the toilet and replaced the wax gasket. Professional, prompt, courteous and honest. Took shoes off when he entered. Cleaned up work area. Rated price a "C" because I have nothing to compare it to.

We had a pipe in the kitchen that had a small hole in it (we won't mention how it happened) and they were able to come out and fix it the same day we called. The pipe was kind of difficult to get to but he made it look like a smooth operation. Instead of just patching the small leak he actually replaced the whole piece to make sure the job was done right. Excellent service!!

I called around lunch time to see what it would cost to have a shutoff valve replaced We discussed time frame and I said that if possible I was home today if they could fit me in. They called back just after 3pm and said the plumber was on the way. He took about 45 minutes, which was reasonable, and was very professional. All in all an great experience.

More work is needed, they called me back the same day with an estimate. Reasonable for the work needing to be done. The plumber helped me make a decision about products, taking cost into consideration, and wasn't pushy. I have set an appt to have the work done. They accomodated my schedule. So far working with this company has been a great experience, I have no complaints and would recommend them to anyone.

I called in the AM and had service at my house within the hour. Service was great, quick, and I got a lot of good advice. I have already booked another date for service. This is a great company.

I called them in to open up the drain, it was a simple drain backed up, they told me it will be from $125 to $225. but they charged me full $225, which I think was too much for this job. For same job I normally pay to another provider $75. They charged me three time more. Other than price I dont have any issue, they did the job but took advantage of me and charged me too much money. I will try not to use them again.

It went fine. I'm to old to do this stuff anymore. I appreciated the quick and punctual performance.

Leak in kitchen was a simple fix. The shower leak was difficult. We had tried to remove the shower water control and couldn't. He had to really work at getting the handle off without breaking it or causing damage. He made sure the replacement part was available before taking it apart and went to pick it up. Thankfully he was successful and replaced the leaky valve. He answered all our questions and took time to explain everything to us. Then he inspected the boiler and found no problems there. Considering all the things we had for him to do, he did it in a reasonable amount of time. We were very pleased and would not hesitate to call Gill Plumbing again.

It went great until the evening and the drain was leaking. I called the next morning and they had someone out and fixed the leaks. I won't give them a bad rating because they had to come back because that stuff happens.
