Description of Work: I had a drum table refurbished/restored that has been in my family since the early 1940's. It cost me $300, but it was certainly well worth it. It looks like it came straight from the furniture manufacturer. I would highly recommend this provider.

Description of Work: Although it took a year, no hurry on my part, John restored some family pieces. They were of no real value to anyone except me and they were beautifully refinished. When I was married over 45 years ago I was given my great grandmother's dining room table. The finish on the top was mostly gone and when I moved I bought another table. When John brought it back a few days ago it was my first time seeing it in perfect condition. It was so beautiful. Just gorgeous. John also did a wonderful job on a cabinet I think my great grandfather made, and on a dresser my mom gave me that she'd had when I was growing up. John does exceptional work.

Description of Work: I have used JMD twice for restoration work (cedar chest and dresser). John is a very talented and knowledgeable wood worker. I appreciate his honesty about estimated costs and the amount of work involved. Because he does quality work, expect him to be busy. His work might take a bit longer than expected but the results are worth the wait.

Description of Work: John refinished our kitchen table. He also refinished and re-glued our six kitchen chairs. John communicates in a timely manner. He takes pride in his work and makes sure the final product is well done. It did take a little longer than quoted, but I knew it might based on other reviews. The extra time was worth the extra care John put into our furniture.
