Description of Work: We had this company make a patio in a front courtyard. They removed everything, prepared and installed a good sized patio, redid the steps they used pavers to the circular drive. They replaced the perennials that had been removed and cleaned everything up. The front porch was included in the renovation so it blends in with entire job. The Guys also renovated my parents brick walkway. They were helpful and went above and beyond. The patio looks very nice and we will use them when we are ready for the next project.

Description of Work: We met (he was 45 mins late), went over a sketch that I made of the patio plan, he sketched almost the exact same picture and mentioned that he would not be providing anything additional. He did not contact me afterwards to get any additional info. Therefore, I paid $49 for a quote and rough sketch that I could get free anywhere else.

When we set an appointment time, we always set it in a 1 hour time frame. We offered this customer an evening appointment (we are closed in the evening) a weekend appointment (we are closed on weekends) and he was unhappy with both of those options. Finally we were able to agree to meet him between 8am and 9am which is a full hour before we normally set our appointments. When speaking with the customer about the project, he informed me that most of the project would be completed by another company. He showed me a drawing he liked and I redrew it for my own records (why would I draw something different when that is what he wanted?) We provided a proposal to this customer and he never contacted us in order to hire us and give us the green light on the project. Our proposals are always FREE and the $49 paid was to Angie's List for a $200 coupon off the project in the event we were hired, not for the proposal or drawing.

Being in the landscape business, the spring and summer are extremely busy. It is entirely possible and unfortunate that upon contacting leads there were a few that we missed. We are regretful that we could not help this customer with the project they had in mind and would have been happy to assist him if a call had been placed to our office.

Description of Work: I signed up for the big deal on a Saturday. It said someone would contact me by Wednesday. Wednesday came and went with no contact so I decided it would be best to cancel and get a refund.

Unfortunately, this customer is located outside our service range. Upon receiving this lead, we had contacted Angie's List to make sure they had the correct service range on file. We were mistaken in thinking Angie's List would contact this customer and notify him of this complication.

Description of Work: We needed to have our front entryway - done entirely in pavers - releveled and secured. There was a bunch of loose pavers and the small stairway was very dangerous! I found it frustrating that other companies I had consulted would always try to upsell me by recommending a complete overhaul of materials and design. All I wanted and needed was to have the entryway rebuilt using the existing materials. With The Guy, it was such a relief to find someone who did just what I wanted! The job was fantastic and I'm so happy with the results. The job was completed in one day and they even came back on the second day to make a small correction that I has asked for. All in all, I was very happy and would definitely recommend them for paver repair/rebuild jobs!

Description of Work: I DIDN'T USE THIS COMPANY. I HAD THEM COME OUT TO GIVE ME A QUOTE FOR SOME DRIVEWAY CONCRETE WORK. THE AMOUNT OF WORK WARRANTED LARGE SECTIONS OF THE DRIVEWAY BEING REPLACED. THEY WERE UNABLE TO DO THIS TYPE OF WORK SO I WENT WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY.
