I contacted ANGI for a referral for a handyman to install porch railings around my mother's porch. SKM Property Maintenance agreed to do the job, labor and materials included for $350. My mother gave them a downpayment of $175, which they required. On the day of installation, they were a no call no show. Then Doug King, the manager of this business, informed my mother that the price for the job was really $850, and that the $350 was the labor cost only. That's not what the contract states. I spoke to Mr. King and told him to refund my mother's money ASAP. She is a senior citizen on a limited income and they are trying to take advantage of her. I would never recommend this company to anyone. ANGI should remove them from their listings. I would give them 0 stars if allowed.

Tom did an excellent job repairing and installing drywall in my basement! He carried out the task exactly as requested, and the basement looks great. Tom was communicative and friendly throughout the entire process. I would definitely hire him again.

This is an overdue review but I want to be sure that I share what great work was done. Tom from SK Maintenance did an excellent job on my punch list of tasks for my rental property. Installed a basement handrail, patched cracks in my driveway, filled a critter hole under the house, repaired wood steps and built new stair railings. Everything looked great and the work was done as promised in a timely and professional manner. I will definitely hire SK Maintenance and their serviceman Tom again.
