Description of Work: The guy came to the property to do an estimate. He was there less than 10 minutes. When he left he said someone would call me by the end of the day. No one called.

Description of Work: Had an old shower value that leaked and would not turn on properly. Dave knew the part on sight and knew exactly what was needed. He rebuilt the valve in his truck and it worked perfectly once he reinstalled it.

Description of Work: I have used Nelson numerous times over the past 20 years at home and at my office building in Southfield. They have always diagnosed the problem correctly and furnished a solution at a fair price. They are very professional and honest.

Description of Work: Snaked laundry floor drain all the way to the sewer line and extracted a tree root that blocked drainage. Done within 45 minutes. It was evident that the serviceman was concerned with doing a proper job and took pride in doing the job fully and properly. Nelson charges $155 minimum for snaking but a $94 minimum for other service with up to 1/2 hr on job time. I think $155 minimum for snaking is fair but a tad higher than I wd have liked. What wd I have liked? $135.

Description of Work: I had my entire house re-done with copper plumbing. They gave me a good estimate and the job was completed in one day. I was pleased with the job, and Kevin and Jessie the guys that came out were very friendly and professional and worked well together. I was extremely pleased at the quality of their work and how they handled themselves. My home is approx. 55 years old, and it had the old galvanized pipes in it. I had poor water pressure and there was black residue from the pipes. Well that is now all better. I would recommend Nelson Bros. over any of the others guys. Some even wanted to charge me for an estimate! One little problem that happened was that one pipes leaked afterwards, but it was easy to miss because the solder job was at the basement sink and it was easy to miss because it could not be seen. When I called and reported it the next day, one of the guys came out right away and took care of it. I highly recommend Nelson Bros.

Description of Work: I had an appointment scheduled on Monday May 2,2011 for after 12pm. The service man arrived at 4:15pm. He said he was here to clean the basement drain. The appointment was to put a camera in the drain and give me a price on fixing the broken crock. He did not have a camera on his truck and said I would need to call them back and reschedule. Mr. Dick Nelson called me and rescheduled the appointment for Thursday, May 5,2011, after 3pm. Nobody showed and nobody called. I am very disappointed with the lack of service and the lack of respect for my time. I would not have them do the repair as they have not shown me that they are reliable and would show-up when they are scheduled. Peggy McIvor

Description of Work: The company was very responsive to my call. They came when they said they would. They snaked the shower drain and the plumber said he could snake the sink for an additional lesser amount if I wanted it done then as it was a little slow. I decided not to. Of course, a day later it also needed to be snaked. When I called for the additional service they gave me the lower price which I appreciated. I would definitely use them again.
