Description of Work: The provider never came to do the work. He subcontracted it out to a bunch of amauters who lied and did not even know what they were doing. I consider this a bait and switch. Would never recommend their services to anyone. All the brick work done was so poor it was falling apart last year and this year looks horrible. I will have to have it redone next spring.

Worked steadily to remove damaged bricks and concrete,.inserted new bricks. Also replaced crown and flashing. They were friendly, explained in detail. done on time, cleaned up well. To elaborate: They set an appointment to get to us quickly. They choose the senior member of the team for the job since he was familiar with old brick chimneys. He talked to my husband and was nice to my disabled son. My husband said that watching him cut out single bricks was like watching an artist at work. The supervisor explained he wanted the mortar to match exactly, and went off to get the proper colors. We will use them again. Thanks, Angie!

Description of Work: I called multiple times. It took him weeks to get back to me. When he finally got back with me we made a appointment which he later canceled. He did finally come to give a estimate and was very late. He sat in his car for 30 minutes trying to figure out the estimate. I don't trust him at all!

Description of Work: Through Angie's List I paid $150.00 for Chimney Cleaning. There was a delay in keeping the first appointment due to an equipment failure, but I was kept informed. My Chimney was cleaned. However, upon inspection I was advised that bricks and motar needed repair. In addition, some roofing shingles were not properly fastened (I had some insulation blown in a year before). Also, I purchased a Chimney cap, and a repair was made to my front step. I was shown pictures of the repairs needed. The work was done to my satisfaction. Two years later, I've had no leaking in my fireplace (which I noticed prior to the repair), no birds chirrping, and the repair to my front step is still holding.

Then, per Angie's List email instruction, I contacted Brick Concept LLC and made appointment to meet them at my house at 10:00am on April 19, 2013. I asked half day vacation and waited at home and no one showed up. I called Brick Concept LLC and no one answered my phone. I sent email to Brick Concept LLC and never got response back.

They were all very pleasant and professional. Very conscientious workers. Finished up the job within the next two days. Would have them back!
Description of Work: Repaired cracked mortar on fireplace opening. Removed and replaced firerock to create fire barrier. Ground out all bad mortar joints on home. Tuckpointed all cracks in brick all around house. Installed new crown overlay on chimney. Sprayed seal on all masonry. Caulked aluminium to brick around perimeter of home - window/doors/garage. Patched brick.

+ 2 moreTwo men arrived at my house on time. The were pleasant and professional. They completed their work quickly both inside and outside my house. They made no mess while preforming this dirty job and completely cleaned up after themselves. Following an inspection of my chimney and exterior brick, they took all the time necessary to discuss other problems areas around my house and options for making repairs. They promised to provide a quote for the additional work. I while likely hire them to make some repairs on my chimney. I will call this company in the future for additional work. I'll add an addition report following any additional work performed.
Description of Work: Brick Concepts cleaned my chimney and evaluated the masonry around my house. They did an excellent job cleaning my chimney and fireplace. They made several recommendations about places where bricks were deteriorating around my house and will provide a quote for additional work.

+ 6 moreThey gave me a free chimney inspection within 2 hours of my call to their company. The owner himself dropped what he was doing to come check out the situation. There was water seeping into my attic from the chimney. He informed me why there was water and what needed to be done. My chimney was in really bad shape, and multiple brick rows needed to be completely replaced. There was also a couple things around the home that Ken threw in for me for free such as, a couple cracks in the driveway that he polyurethaned, and some caulking around a few windows. He performed the work over the next two days, despite how cold it was. His men were also very polite and they explained in detail what they were doing and made sure I was happy with the work before payment was made. *Also, at the time I wasn't sure if I could afford the job, he offered a payment plan over a three month period. I was really impressed by how kind-hearted this company was. They realized my economic hardship and worked with me because the work was really needed. Thank you Brick Concepts and I wish you the best of luck!

+ 4 moreWater was leaking from my basement walls and it was also coming out of the chimney bottom. Also, every spring I had to pick up brick pieces from the lawn. I had cold drafts coming from my windows. I knew i had to do something about these issues so I asked around and got referrals from people within my profession who also used Brick Concepts with great results. Their team did a perfect job they went above and beyond what they were suppose to do and that takes commitment and good work ethic. I had multiple estimates and their company was comparable in prices and brought with them examples of work in their portfolios which showed astonishing work. When they were done my chimney looked 100% different the brick matched perfectly and the mortar they made was so good that you couldn't even tell work was performed..All areas from sales to workmanship couldn't have been done better..I WOULD RECOMMEND BRICK CONCEPTS L.L.C TO ANY BODY WHO NEEDS MASONRY WORK DONE THEY WERE UNBELIEVABLE...
