I contacted Berkley Appliance because my Frigidaire refrigerator stopped cooling properly and was in need of repair. When I contacted the company I explained what was wrong with it (although he didn?t ask) and the man?s response was, ?no one can come out to look at it for two days.? I said that may be okay since the fridge seemed cooler today but I would still like someone to look at it since it may not continue to work properly. The man?s response then was, ?well, looks like it is fixed then.? At that point I ended the conversation. What a rude and unprofessional way to treat a prospective customer. It was obvious that he did not want my business for whatever reason. I would not recommend Berkley Appliance to anyone.

An appointment was booked within a few days. The repairman was punctual, polite, professional, wore covers on his shoes, and fixed the latch. He took the time to discuss my options and didn't push for the more expensive of the two. He had the part with him (I gave the office the make and model of the dishwasher) and he did the job. I was happy with the whole thing.

Jim is very professional, clean, pleasant to deal with and works quickly.

I'm using them for years. They're very good. If you ever had a virus on your computer, they can cleaned it off too. They also do appliances. For any virus on your computer, they'll fix it for $45 and if they can't fix it, they won't charge you.

When I scheduled the app't, I mentioned that I had taken apart my clothes dryer because the motor was humming but the drum was not turning. I had taken it apart to see if the belt had broken but did not put it back together figuring that whoever looked at the machine would have to take it apart anyway. The tech (Evan) showed up on time. When he looked at the machine he said that it was too bad that it had been taken apart because it made his job more difficult. I told him that there is nothing to do at this point but for him to do whatever was necessary to fix the machine. After more belittling complaints from Evan about the machine being apart, I asked him what the service charge was. He replied $55.00. I offered to pay him the service charge and told him to leave. He had spent more time complaining than working. I could have put the machine back together in the time he spent complaining. I told him that I would rather spend the money on a new machine than listen to him berate me. He would not accept the $55 and left.

Jim had ordered the part, which surprisingly was available. He came promptly, was cheerful, and his price was very reasonable. I was very pleased with his work. I highly recommend Berkley Appliance Service. They also service computers!

Great service call. Dispatcher said that they didn't usually work on my type of washer, sent a tech anyway. Tech diagnosed and fixed the problem in 5 minutes.

They were professional, on-time, and I would use them again.

Service tech showed up on time, was friendly and knowledgeable. Repair was made and dishwasher if working fine.

Expertly made the repair and 10 loads later my washer is humming along and operating appropriately.

The first time they came they provided an estimate of the parts and service required to do the repair. Upon authorizing the repair, they ordered the part, called me when the part was in and scheduled another appointment for the repair. I was very happy with the professionalism and the service. Will definitely recommend them to others.

Service went well. Part was ordered and came with in two days. However, there was a cross in communication about when to install the element. Once that was taken care of by calling back to the office, installation went smooth.

Called for an appointment and Berkley Appliance provided next day service between 1 & 3pm. Mark Robinson / Repair Tech called me to let me know he was on the way. Mark is very familiar with Maytag dryers and quickly diagnosed the problem. He explained to me which parts he was replacing.and pointed out the wear and cracks on the existing parts he replaced. Mark reassembled the dryer and gave it a test run. I asked if the drum rollers needed replacing and he told me they looked fine. He did not try to sell me parts I did not need.

Service man was prompt, considerate, and easy to deal with. Fixed both my dryer and refrigerator to my satisfaction.

Everything went fine, there were no issues. The tech, Evan, was friendly, arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the blown thermal kit. He explained to me how it probably happened and what I should do in the future to avoid another occurrence.

I found Mark to be very knowledgeable but unfortunately arrived late and tired. Mark is the kind of service person that listens to a customer and gives his undivided attention which make you feel that you have called the right person. It does not matter how good a service person is if asked to do too many calls, that is the way you loose your best people. He took the time to go pass the regular channels so he could order the correct part the second time around. I would definitely call them again

Repair person arrived when he said he would. Very amicable and efficient. Found the problem. My dryer refused to heat up and dry clothes. Just cold air blowing all the time and running forever! My husband tried to repair on his own and replaced the heating element. It was a different part that needed replaced. I love my dryer and did not want to buy a new one. I am happy I opted for the repair instead. Thought it was a fair price. Labor Service call Parts Angies list discount total came to $137.00 The dryer was very expensive and I am happy to say it is running like a champ once again!

He opened up the washing machine and located the problem. He was very personable and explained everything as he was doing it. Also, he showed me how he fixed the problem. I was very pleased with his services.

They were able to schedule the repair fast. The serviceman arrived on time after phoning and was friendly, helpful, and full of useful information. I would call them 1st if I needed any more repairs. Great experience.

Went fine. Repairman was running late, but called to let me know which I appreciated. Service was quick and repairman very friendly. Fridge has been running fine since. Would definitely use them again.

Driver had GPS did not need to call for directions. Appointment was set for between 8am-12pm. Repairman was there at 9:30am.Was Polite, Professional and Competent. Finished job at 9:40am. Everything is fine and working properly. Love it. I didn't notice on Angie's List, but the Repairman gave us a 5% discount for being Angie's List members. Technician called ahead, and arrived at the scheduled time (did not require directions ! had GPS unit in his van). Very quickly diagnosed the problem - damaged condenser fan blade. Quickly set it right, and cleaned up the area. I was bracing myself for a major expense given that I had damaged the condenser fan while cleaning the condenser coils earlier. Prompt, honest and quick work.

Arrived promptly. Friendly technician allowed my dog to observe.
