I called around for my mother to see if we could get her whirlpool washer repaired or if it was even worth repairing as in if most of the parts were high priced 3 or 4 hundred dollars it would not be worth paying. well the lady who answered the phone was not very friendly and simple went by her script of 65$ to come out plus parts and job fee to install the parts. so it seemed like they could repair the washer and dryer without and issues after it was diagnosed. we had the model number lhw0050pq4 and serial number ready to give berkley; they had no interest in it even though i said i could give it to them. it seems this company just wants to collect there 65$ show up fee. as in they charge 65$ just to come look at your washer and it does not go towards anything else. (I get charged less for a full price office visit at the doctors office.) i found out after they told us they could not fix the washer that berkely only sources parts from 4 places even though the internet is abundant with parts. berkley claimed only the four sources they get parts from were reliable, which is ridiculous. needless to say half of the parts for the washer were not available, which they could have took a few minutes to look up the washer by the model number and told us that up front; we would have never had them come out in the first place. they are also biased to ge and whirlpool since they are not chinese companies even thought most of the parts for those brands are made in you guessed it china or not the usa. plus everyone needs to make a living. and samsung is korean. also on the internet samsung and lg get the best ratings surpassing whirlpool and ge. my mom said that paul was friendly and evan who i talked to get more information on why they could not repair it was as well. too bad they are just into taking your money, even from a retired senior citizen.

He was on time, he knew what to look for, he listened to my description without laughing! and then fixed it so quickly I was amazed.

Project went well. The tech diagnosed the problem on the initial visit. Parts had to be ordered for the repair. When the parts came in Berkley called me and scheduled the actual repair appointment. The tech was very professional, very friendly and well trained. I would definitely use Berkley Appliance again.

Paul was on time and very knowledgable about the the appliance. He showed me step by step in opening the gas dryer and what needed to be fixed. The gas coils were bad & he replaced it we ease. Service call $59, Gas coils $30, Labor $48 & $1.80 tax. Not bad at all.

Diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced fan. It's been working perfectly since!

Outstanding. Paul Lievois was our technician. The part needed was discontinued but Paul and his boss managed to track one down. Repair was completed. Another company told us we would have to replace the unit. We are so thankful they were able to fix it. We highly recommend the company.

Berkley Appliance was professional, on time, and fixed the problem!

It's been a while, so I don't remember a lot of detail, but we called them and described the problem. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and made an appointment that was convenient for us. On the appointment day, the repairman appeared on time, after giving me a call to let me know he was on his way. He inspected the refrigerator and determined that the ice maker module was faulty and needed to be replaced. He did the replacement, demonstrated to me that it was working and gave me instructions for the first few batches of ice. (They need to be thrown away.) He was friendly and professional. The whole appointment took less than an hour, and the icemaker is working just fine, three months later. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

They had the part in stock in their shop and were able to replace it that day.

Was able to get an appointment next day. Justin came out for the service call and was very polite and prompt with the service call. I felt like he was diagnosing the issue and was not trying to oversell me and what work was needed. The service call took a bit longer and he left for his next client after setting up another service call for the additional work needed. He had a cancellation later that afternoon and came back to finish the additional work I wanted on the dryer--which ended up saving me money by buying a kit versus the individual parts. Very professional and good service. Would highly recommend for an honest opinion/diagnosis!

They do not service Bosch washing machines however, my rating is based on their very friendly and professional communication when I called to inquire. They went above and beyond to tell me who could service my washer in the area and even gave me the phone number. While I can't say how their complete service is, based on this interaction alone I would contact them in the future if I should need service on a brand they cover.

He spent extra time on the phone explaining how much it should cost and that it could be 1 of a few things that could be wrong. I really appreciated him taking this extra time with me on the phone knowing that he was not going to get the job because of scheduling. I will call him next time I have a problem.

Repairman showed up on time, diagnosed quickly, and had the part in-hand (on the phone I gave them make/model of the fridge and symptoms) and quickly repaired it. Also cleared water in-door line as well as helped level the doors (I never knew you could!). Great experience, will call them again for any more appliance repair needs.

It went very well. Technician diagnosed quickly and ordered the part that each appliance needed. They arrived a few days later and they accommodated my need to move install up a day. Reasonable price paid.

If he did reassemble my washer completely and put it back before he left, that would've been nice. We can just say yes, I would use BERKLEY APPLIANCE again in the future.

cost to repair was 40% that of new dryer + installation and old dryer takeaway. new dryer has 1 year warranty, so this was the better option for me.

Unable to do the work because the tile floor was in the way and the dishwasher wouldn't come out.
