Absolutely wonderful job by Edward and his crew. The work was done with care and precision. They worked with me and my design with no questions asked. Edward was prompt getting with me to schedule the installation and worked around my timeframe. I love the look of my new kitchen. The backsplash added just the right touch.

I can not recommend First Class Tile enough! Edward and his crew (two very nice guys that were with him on the job) were prompt, kind, courteous, and cleaned everything up when they were done. Edward went above and beyond and I was thrilled! The job originally consisted of one bathroom floor, but after assessing the house, he was able to do both floors, and he offered to install the new toilets in them when he was done (saving me a plumber appointment for this job!) He showed up on time for the job, responded promptly to texts and phone calls, was extremely professional, and (this is important as a single woman) I felt very comfortable with him around. I was in and out throughout the day and was comfortable with him and his crew at the house. Would definitely recommend Edward and First Class Tile and will use them again for any other tiling needs that arise!

Edward was responsive to all my calls/text. He provided an excellent price and was even able to squeeze us in right away as the job was fairly small. His crew showed up on time, were polite, thorough, and cleaned up after they were finished. I could not be happier with the work, him, and his team. Our goal was to lightly demo our 1949 bathroom and refresh it back to it's 1949 glory. We purchased period-authentic tile, and I started the demo myself, but quickly realized I did not have the skills to complete the job in the timeframe I had laid out for myself. I called a few contractors and tile guys and got a wide array of opinions on how to proceed, most of which were "there's nothing to be done but gut it to the studs from floor to ceiling and rebuild". and also a little "why the heck are you remodeling in an old style?". Edward from First Class Tile LLC gave me some advice on the phone on how to do it myself if I want. I thought his tips were awesome so I invited him to come out and quote the job. His detailed plan for the job including salvaging the original mortar walls that I had, and repairing the floor. I really admired his ability to listen and give super detailed responses to my questions and concerns. I'm an engineer so I can tend to be overbearing and obsess over every tiny detail. Edward rolled with it and always welcomed my questions. The job was done by two of Edward's employees with Ed stopping in to assist and provide guidance each day. The entire team was polite, courteous, and always cleaned up before leaving every day. They completed the job in just 3 days (2 of them very long) and everything was done exactly as originally described. Each day Edward and the team maintained excellent communication with my wife and I. The tile work is PHENOMENAL. There are parts of the layout that they did even better than the original 1949 job. There is absolutely no lippage in the tile, and the grout lines are dead straight and perfectly done. Every mitered corner was done with precision and care. I couldn't be happier. I keep going in there and just staring at it. :) I am super impressed and will definitely be giving them a call when it's time to do my kitchen.

Could not be better. I contacted Edward on a Friday afternoon. I sent him a short video from my phone of the area to be tiled. He quoted it via text and scheduled service for the following Monday. His guy was there on time Monday morning and did a fantastic job. We had started the job ourselves but couldn't complete it, so we had the tiles and grout, they supplied everything else. Job was done quickly, professionally and looks great. And final price was exactly as quoted.

I contacted Edward thru Angie' list and he responded the same day to set up a time for him to come to the house to take some measurements / review job / provide a quote. At first I was a little hesitant of his price but after working with him and his crew, any doubt was gone. Edward provided many suggestions to lay the tile out to make sure everything was centered around the window. He was also very receptive to suggestions. Even after doing this at the initial visit we went over everything again the day of the job. We changed the direction slightly and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Edward's crew was professional and friendly. They cleaned up to a level which was acceptable to me (I would have cleaned anyway after they left so I wasn't expecting them to leave the kitchen perfect). Edward came back the next day to review the job and made sure that I was completely satisfied. He even hosed out / swept a small mess left by the wet saw in the garage which I wasn't worried about. I would highly recommend Edward and his crew to anybody looking to have some tile work done. They were a pleasure to work with!

First Class Tile was very good to deal with. They were very prompt, punctual, friendly, and professional. The problem was with the installation. The installation resulted some rather uneven areas. They were nice enough to offer to come back and fix it, but the areas would be mostly covered up by the toilet and vanity when re-installed. I also didn't want to slow my project down, so I opted not to have them come back to fix the problem.

Professional and very helpful

Ed and Elijah came to our condo and Ed transformed the world's ugliest fireplace into something gorgeous!! Elijah also did an amazing job on the backsplash in the kitchen. They could not have been more professional, friendly and skilled. Ed told my husband exactly how much tile to order, including trim, and we paid him for the labor. The fireplace was more of a challenge than any of us realized, but Ed made no complaints, just worked on it until it was beautiful. And he did not even mention charging us extra. Ed and Elijah are perfectionists. It was almost like they were doing work in their own homes. They also leave everything spotless when they are finished. I told Ed I could clean the wood floor, but he would not hear of it. We were so impressed with their work that we decided to re-tile the bathrooms, even though we had decided they could wait until later. I can guarantee that we will not be calling anyone else. There was literally not one thing they could have done that would have made the experience any better. Do yourselves a favor and call this company. You will not be disappointed.

We called First Class Tile LLC in desperation after Home Depot made it ridiculously complicated to install a backsplash in a kitchen and breakfast room. We fired Home Depot on Monday (after they told us twice the area wasn't ready to be tiled, even though we had prepped it for them as they instructed) and called owner Edward Luca on Tuesday late morning. He came that evening (as promised), evaluated the job, gave us a price (we had already purchased the tile from Home Depot), explained what he would do, and patiently answered our questions. Edward and his crew came the following Monday as promised. Home Depot had not given us an opportunity to look at grout colors. Edward brought several samples with him the day he started the job so we could choose (again, as promised). They arrived at 9 as agreed and were done by 5. They were professional, kept the place clean, and did everything they promised, including fixing an unforeseen problem in the breakfast room. And the job is beautiful. The price was very fair for a fairly complicated tile job that required a lot of cuts. A lot of attention to detail went into this job. For example, the tile patterns match in every corner. We will refer them to others. And we hope we have the opportunity to use them again.

I own a rental house and just recently signed a three year contract for a new tenant. Part of the contract was that I'd put new tiles, which was fine. I contacted three vendors I found on the Angie's List, Edward was one who responded. Now, the job is going eventually to someone else as my tenant suggested he would manage it and use someone whom he liked from the past; this works for me as I live out of state and am very busy. However, I wanted to rate First Class Tile for the owner's clarity of the details of the job, his responsiveness and competitive price.

Ed was great to work with. He responded promptly and clearly to all communications either by phone or email. The entire crew was very polite, professional, clean and punctual. We were very impressed with the speed and efficiency of the job and it looked incredible afterwards. There were some challenging angles and edges that multiple other contractors had remarked as being challenging. They came out great and didn't seem to phase the guys at all. I have no hesitation recommending First Class Tile to anybody needing any sort of tile work. A++++.

I started tiling my Kitchen and foyer but quickly became overwhelmed and ran out of time to finish it. I called Edward and he came out thanksgiving eve night to look at my job and had someone out by the next work day. They really saved my butt and the finished product looked great. Had about 220 sq ft installed and it took 3 days with grout so i was very impressed. They kept my house very clean and tidy even while working. I will be calling them again to redo my laundry room.

We hired First Class Tile to tile our bathroom floor and replace broken tile around our fireplace. They arrived promptly on the scheduled date. When asked, Gary gave us advice on the best way to place the bathroom tile and the result is beautiful. The grout used to replace some broken tile around the fireplace matched perfectly with the old grout and there is no way to see which tile were replaced. The craftsmanship was excellent. Gary and Gary were friendly, polite and hardworking. The work was completed in a timely manner and the clean up impeccable.

What a great, positive experience. Edward was responsive, considerate and accommodating. His crew, Gary and Ryan were absolute professionals. They were pleasant and friendly, but worked hard the entire time they were here. Cleaned everything up when they were finished, leaving me with a gorgeous tile job. It changed the appearance of my whole kitchen. I love it! Would use again and recommend his company to anyone who wants a quality job for a fair price.
