I hired First Class Tile to remove my kitchen backsplash. I needed the job done quickly, and Edward was able to come within a few days of hiring and remove the backsplash. He also prepped our walls for adding new backsplash. He got the job done in a day and I was beyond impressed with his work. He was very professional and easy to work with. He made the process stress-free and was very communicative. I would highly recommend this company!

He was able to come out a few days after I called to perform the job. He was able to complete the work the same day (in about 5 hours) with top notch quality. The work looks impeccable and I am very pleased with the result.

They did a great job. They were quick, nice, professional, and reasonably priced. The only thing is I called them a couple of times after the job was done to do a new job but never got a call back. I would still highly recommend them.

First Class Tile is exactly what the name implies. Eddie Luca and his crew do impeccable work! Initially, Eddie came out just to quote our first floor tile job. As I walked him through the house and happened to mention the other home improvements we were planning, I was pleased to find out that he could also complete our fireplace make-over & our front porch stone work. The scope of work included: removal of existing ~1,300 sq. ft. ceramic tile/carpet, prepping and installing 1,300 sq. ft. porcelain tile, installing fireplace stone and installing porch stone. Eddie and his crew were punctual everyday for 2 weeks, professional and take pride in their work. He and his crew moved our large pieces of furniture/appliances either downstairs or into the garage. As they removed the ceramic tile, they used water to keep the dust to a minimum since we were living in the home during construction. Our job necessitated a level subfloor to ensure proper installation of the tile. Eddie and his crew had the existing flooring removed and the subfloor installed and level in 2 days! He and his crew cleaned up every day before leaving our home. He knew we would be living in the house during construction so he made it easy and accessible for us to get upstairs and into the 1st floor office (where flooring was not being redone). He and his crew even moved our large pieces of furniture back into the house upon completion of the job! Eddie is a perfectionist which shows in his work. After installing the tile and grouting, he went over the entire floor marking spots where he felt a little more grout should be added. The front porch stone installation was a small job but it needed to coordinate with the prior stone work we had completed a few years ago on the bay windows. The fireplace make-over required an experienced, talented stone mason. Eddie definitely out-did himself! The finished product is far more than we could have imagined! Eddie and his crew are an exceptional company! Eddie's talent, attention-to-detail, personable/positive demeanor and respect for our home made the 2 week flooring project (which kept my family of 4 mostly upstairs) almost pleasant! Before Eddie completed all of the work, we decided to ask him to quote the flooring for one of our 2nd floor bathrooms! He was able to complete the bathroom flooring with the same attention-to-detail and we will be contacting him to install our kitchen backsplash in the near future. The owner, Edward, and his assistant were both very professional and courteous. Edward is definitely a master of his craft. The job took two days with tear down and install. They took their time to make sure every tile placement was perfect and they cleaned up so well I couldn't even tell anyone had been working there when I got home from work. I will definitely be calling them for future tile work in my home.

Edward did a fantastic job! He was very respectful of my house and did a great job protecting my carpet, etc. He also did a great job cleaning up at the end of the project. The bathtub looks great! I am a very picky customer, and Edward exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend him!

We had many problems obtaining unbroken tile in the correct dye lot, which forced Ed to reschedule several times. His estimate was fair, he rescheduled quickly multiple times, and was unbelievably responsive (he responded to calls and texts almost immediately). He came when he said he would, did the work quickly( and hopefully well), and cleaned up very well. His methods and tilework were far superior to that of the previous contractor. Given that we had many problems obtaining enough of the correct replacement tile, Ed went above and beyond to work with me. Overall, it was a pleasure to work with him, and I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him.

Great. They arrived at the time that they promised and were able to finish the job in or in less than the time originally committed.

We had kind of a strange encounter with this company. I chose this company because of all of the good reviews on Angie's List. Last week, I called and left a detailed message on their voice mail. He called back, but didn't leave a message. My wife works an earlier shift and occasionally works out of the house, so I asked her to call again to arrange a time they could come out and give us an estimate. My wife called them yesterday and they hung up on her mid-sentence. Where is this company that had all of the great reviews? Obviously they don't want our money. That's ok. We will find somebody else.

Excellent job tiling master bathroom floor and shower. Included removing old tile and shower walls and flooring, leveling floors, and rerouting plumbing. All of this was done within a week. Edward and his crew were great to work with--professional, hard-working and thorough. Highly recommend this company.

This was a job I had already started and realized it was harder than first thought. I called First Class Tile for a quote to re-grout my shower walls. Edward was on time, removed his shoes and proceeded to inspect the shower. He told me what I was doing would be what he would do. He proceeded to tell me how to finish the job I had started and explained how to fix my noisy bathroom fan. In fact he asked for a can of WD40 and he did it. I liked him very much and feel I would be comfortable hiring him for a future job. Now I see why he had such a good rating. Very professional.

We had a good experience with them. They were attentive and did a really good job. All the work they did and the cost factor blended in, it was a all around good experience.

It was a wonderful experience. The initial contact, the estimate, ongoing communication, and the quality of work was first class (no pun!). I am extremely satisfied and I can say with certainty this is by far THE best contractor I have ever worked with. This is the experience that I expect from the contractors I find on Angie's List.

We had a small-to-medium-sized backsplash job for which we solicited several bids. First Class Tile had the second to the lowest price. We chose them based on the volume of positive reviews, plus Ed's confidence that his team could handle a slightly tricky mosaic tile and have it done in one day. We were not disappointed - Ed and his team were friendly, professional, and efficient, and the results are perfect. You can tell when a crew has a good rapport and works well together, and this was definitely the case. Somehow, they even left our garage cleaner than it was before setting up their equipment. Highly recommended.

Ed and his team were very efficient and nice. THEY had the whole house level In a day then all tiled in 2 days (1100 Sq ft).

Ed and his crew did a great job on my bathroom. These guys are pros...even my glass installer commented on how plumb and level the tiles were. Price was fair too.
