Description of Work: They were able to fix my fridge that was not cooling, however they needed to come back twice before it was fully fixed. On the up side, it's fixed, they didn't charge us additional services charges and they were timely.

Description of Work: The part to fix my washing machine needed to be ordered. as soon as the part arrived they called to set up an appointment to fix my machine. I was appreciative that the repair man told me that even thou my machine was an older model it was worth it to keep it.

Description of Work: Out of the blue my gas oven stopped heating up . The burners would ignite but the oven remained stone cold. After looking for options on Angie's list , I chose autumn appliance to make the repair. They took my appliance info and were able to come the following day. The technician was friendly and prompt. He was happy to answer all the questions I had. He was in and out within 45mins and haven't had a problem with the oven since the repair.

Description of Work: Checked the temperature sensor on my wall oven and read the description from the manufacturer's paperwork.tried to order the part from their supplier but was told the part is no longer available.I also remembered a problem I was having with my refrigerator. A water puddle would appear every few days. Seems that the drain hole had a blockage of ice. The serviceman used hot water and a turkey baster and cleared that out. Since I gave them the error codes that came up on my oven when I called for service I think they could have had an idea beforehand what could have been the problem with my oven.when my husband asked the service man if he went to school for this he said no that he learned on the job.Also when I asked if there was an Angie's List discount he said he didn't know how they got on Angie's list and had no connection with them.

Description of Work: Service person was a little late on the first trip. Not a big deal as I was not busy that day. Replaced refrigerator pan to fix leak in refrigerator, and ordered new ice dispenser door for freezer hoping it would fix ice crystals/frost from accumulating on ice dispenser mechanism and inside freezer and ice dispensing shoot in freezer door. It did not, so a follow-on visit, with another new replacement door, was required. I'm fairly sure this was likely a manufacturers design issue, or part issue. Would have given straight A's if I was just rating the service persons as both were professional, polite, and appeared competent. Not knowing anything about refrigerators, and because I'm still having some frost issues on ice dispenser in freezer compartment, it is difficult to assess price and quality accurately. I would definitely recommend them though.

+ -1 moreMy Frigidaire electric drop-in stove made a loud pop and took out the power in my entire house. I was able to restore power to the house and stove, but couldn't get the oven to heat. Autumn Appliance came out twice in an effort to diagnose the problem, ordered a new digital clock/interface and installed the new part in about 15 minutes flat on the third visit. Both technicians were very professional and friendly.
Description of Work: Frigidaire electric drop-in stove/oven was repaired; the stove worked but the oven wouldn't heat.

+ -1 moreI was very satisfied with the professionalism, courtesy, prompt service, and that they showed up as promised. I appreciated that the serviceman did not try to sell me something I really did not need, i.e., new knob for the dryer.
Description of Work: Replaced heating element in electric oven. I also thought there was something wrong with one of the control knobs on my electric dryer. The serviceman checked it out, could find nothing wrong, but told me he would come out without charge if I had a problem with the knob after he left.

+ -1 moreBoth my mom and I were very pleased with the service from Autumn Appliance. The service representative was punctual, knowledgeable and professional. We also consider the fee for the service charge reasonable. We would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: My mom, who is on oxygen, had an issue with the electric ignition on her gas stove. Only 2 of 4 burners would light and because of the oxygen issue I thought it would be best to hire someone to look at the problem. I found Autumn appliance through Angie's List. A service representative arrived on time for the appointment. He cleaned the top burners and also leveled the stove. It took him approximately 1/2 hour to identify and solve the problem. All 4 burners are now operational.

+ -1 moreI called Autumn Appliance, based on their proximity to my home and their good rating here. Joe came over, on time. He was very polite. He looked at the stove, and even though it did not spark at first, he kept turning the burner on and off until he could get it to mimic the noise and spark. He determined the problem to be in the part in the back (I forget what the part is called--sorry!) and called his office for a quote. He scheduled another appointment for me for two days later (which was the next day that I was available). At the second appointment, a different man did the actual repair. He was also punctual and very polite. He explained to me what he was doing, and why. Very straightforward repair. I'm very happy with this company.
Description of Work: My stove was making a popping noise and one time I saw a spark, which concerned me quite a bit. It ended up needing a small part replaced.

+ -1 moreGas dryer went out, and the clothes for my business meeting are soaking wet. Angie's List and Autumn Appliance saved the day. The 'big name' service teams quoted 2-3 day response. AAS not only responded same day, but exactly within the window of arrival they promised. Pro tech went right to work, found the problem within 10 minutes (heat coil), and was DONE in 20. Reasonable price for quick resolution. Highly recommended!

+ -1 moreAs I am moving out of my condo, I notice a loud noise coming from my dryer. Autumn Appliance showed up the next morning right on time, found the problem promptly, and was done in 15 minutes. I was having quite a day with the cleaner and painter in the condo, and ended up locking my keys in my car. After the police helped me get into the car, I wrote Autumn a bad check from the wrong account. I just had a bad day overall, but they were very nice about everything and I will call them for all my future appliance repair needs.
