Description of Work: I was visiting my mother for a couple of weeks and wanted to get as much cleaning and repairs done for her as possible. My brother had been visiting the week before and left a couple loads of towels in the hamper (thanks, bro). After washing it took me four cycles to dry them! I knew then and there we had trouble. (There was also a bad smell coming from within the dryer drum.) | |Having moved the dryer away from the wall myself I determined the vent hose was pretty well packed with "stuff." (I maintain my own washer and dryer at my home out of state, but I had not thought of the ones at mom's house.) At this point, instead of trying to do it myself (afraid of what I would find) I called Clean and Green Dryer Vent Experts. I spoke to Christine, a very pleasant lady, on a Monday hoping I could book an appointment asap. By Tuesday morning Tim was on our doorstep ready to tackle this job. Not only was Tim a nice fellow, he was very knowledgeable about large appliances and got right to work. He definitely felt there could be some type of dead animal that had gotten trapped in the hose after smelling inside the dryer drum. | |Tim found that the outside vent was not large enough (not to code either) and he replaced it. He found evidence of nesting and droppings from who-knows-what small animal inside the hose at the vent's opening. This is what had caused a blockage in the vent hose, making the dryer lint back up in the hose and become impacted. He detached the hose from the dryer and double bagged it for removal. He replaced this hose with a newer one (to comply with code). He also removed the dryer's front panel so that he could examine and clean the guts of the dryer itself. He replaced the dryer in its space for me and checked the connections on the washer as a courtesy, too. | |We were very grateful that Tim at Clean and Green Dryer Vent Experts was able to quickly and professionally fix this problem for us. Definitely worth the money, and yes we would hire them again!

Description of Work: Came out and replaced the dryer vent and other parts needed for the dryer and cleaned it out. They exceeded expectations. Will definitely recommend. In fact, I already have.
