Tim was great ! Everything you would want in a service provider...They scheduled me very quickly and at a time that was very convenient for me. He called me when he was about an hour away to let me know he was on his way. Every other company that I have dealt with for cleaning my dryer vent would only clean the vent and would not touch the dryer. Tim took my dryer apart and thoroughly cleaned out every piece of lint in my dryer and in my vent. He also re-engineered my vent on the spot very quickly and at an awesome price. This experience was perfect, and I also learned a lot. I am now a more informed customer. I will definitely use them next time I need a cleaning. Thanks Tim !

Tim was great!!! He had his work cut out for him on MY job :). My dryer vent and bathroom fan vent were partially covered by my deck. Because my husband and I couldn't get at the vent covers, we were suspicious that the dryer flap was left open. We confirmed our suspicions when something crawled in our vent tubing and chewed a hole in are aluminum tube right behind our dryer!!! My husband and I quickly replaced the tubing in our laundry room, but called Tim out to help with everything else. Tim had to carefully cut a little of our deck to make the opening big enough to replace the vent covers. Because of the limited space, he had to to trim and retro fit the new vent covers to make them work. They look great!! After he was done on the outside, Tim replaced some flexible tubing in our basement with smooth (?) tubing. That also looks great. I feel so much better knowing that critters can't get in our house via the vent :). I also feel safer with the appropriate tubing in the basement - less of a fire hazard. Thank you!!!!

Tim was excellent! He was on time, very professional, and had recommendations for the most efficient venting of the dryer. Not only does he know his business, but he took pains to clean under the washer and dryer and worked very hard to get them back into their tight spot in the laundry room. I'd recommend this company very highly.

Quick, efficient and friendly.

The work went better than expected! When we purchased our new washer and dryer from a big box store and they delivered and installed them, the dryer stood out approximately six inches in front of the washer. Our laundry room is on the small side so every square foot of space counts! The installers said they did not have the tools/equipment to fix the condition so I called Clean & Green. When Tim arrived he said he'd be able to improve the situation; however, not only did he improve it, but he was able to do some vent modifications to make the dryer set flush with the washer! This exceeded my expectations! He also tested the dryer airflow and found that the vent system needed to be cleaned. Tim previously inspected our vent system and corrected a fire hazard from our home's previous owner. I highly recommend Tim / Clean & Green for dryer vent inspections and/or work, especially when you've moved into a new (used) home as we did. Dryers can be fire hazards so while the price was a little on the high side, it was well worth the peace of mind. We will definitely have Tim back in a few years for another inspection.

I just moved into a new house and found out that the dryer vents out under the deck - I was told this was really dangerous on top of not knowing how long it had been since the system was blown out. I called Clean & Green and in a few days they came out and checked my system. He talked me through how the vent system was set up, replaced a faulty part of the vents, found where the vent exists the house (and gave me advice on how to access it in the future), and blew out the lint (which was low but still higher than we wanted). He gave me the job cost before he did the work to make sure it was okay, including the 10% off for being an angie's list referral. After he did the job he adjusted the price down because he said that the vent system was actually easier to clean out that he had originally thought. I wouldn't have known the difference and he just as easily could've charged me the higher price. I'll be calling them back in a few years when I want the vents blown out again!

This was primarily a check-up visit. Three years ago I used this company, at which time a new dryer vent was installed, as well as replacement of some plastic piping (I'm not sure that is the correct word for the lines leading from the dryer to the outside vent) with metal. Tim explained everything he was doing and why, and answered all my questions. This visit was a follow-up to make sure everything was okay. He assured me it was. I asked him if he would show me how to use a dryer vent brush I had purchased and never used, to make sure I didn't do anything to harm the dryer. When I couldn't locate the brush, he kindly offered to get his from the truck and showed me how to do it properly. He charged nothing for doing this. He is very professional and I trust him to do what is correct and not make suggestions that aren't really necessary.

Tim arrived promptly and called me 30 minutes ahead of time like I had requested. He was professional and friendly. I felt very comfortable letting him into my house. He came clear across town for me. He worked on my dryer quickly and I felt very confident with the end result. I have already recommended him to my elderly mother as well as one of my neighbors. I would choose Tim again!

Tim arrived early and determined what needed to be done. He recommended that the dryer vent pipe should really be a solid pipe instead of the corrugated one that we had. He also recommended a new Vent Cover on the outside of the house. The cover was much nicer than the one we had and only extended out from the house a couple of inches. After he had completed his work, he checked the airflow coming from the dryer. Originally it was 12.7 mph but after the cleaning, it increased to 22.8 mph. Overall it was a job well-done. I would definitely have him back again.

We are very happy with the job that Clean and Green did on our new dryer vent. Tim was on time, friendly, very competent at his trade and cleaned up thoroughly. We wanted to re-route the dryer vent through the basement and out a side window. However we were not sure if this was safe given the longer distance (about 20 feet). Tim came out to quote the job and carefully measured the distance and angles and determined that it was safe. He came back the next week to do the job. The finished product is very solid, looks good and minimized the intrusion into the basement space.

Since my dryer venting hadn't been cleaned in more than 3 years I fully expected a much needed cleaning. The Clean & Green technician arrived on time and performed a thorough inspection of the dryer. To my surprise the technician told me the dryer was operating in good condition and that the venting didn't need cleaning at all. No up charge. An honest appraisal. I got peace of mind for the basic inspection charge of $39 (including the Angie's List 10% discount).
