AMAZING! They were so wonderful and kind! The estimate they provided was right on the nose and they were punctual and kind! They were also so knowledgeable and were even able to provide some background information on my piano! I absolutely recommend them to anyone! They are awesome!

These guys were unbelievable!! They showed up to the minute of the appointed time with an advance call to let me know they'd be there in 5 minutes. They worked every minute they were there which got me the most bang for the buck on my 82.00 per hour rate. When it came time to move the piano they knew EXACTLY what they were doing. It was quite impressive to watch. I wouldn't dream of using any other company should the need arise again for this type of service.

They were very professional from the start to finish. The piano had an insurance appraisal of over 50K, so we were very concerned. The two men they sent were neat and knew exactly what to do. The disassembled and reassembled the piano in record time. It was amazing to see the process. I would highly recommend this service for a piano move. In fact it is the only company we will ever use for this type of move. The price was not the highest or lowest of the quotes we received. We went with them because piano moving is the company specialty.

Mike and Louis were very professional and did a great a job! They moved a sofa set from upstairs to the basement and a sectional from the basement to the family room. They were super careful taking the furniture through the narrow basement staircase. They were so patient with me, as I tried to figure out how I wanted to configure the sectional. I would have no problem recommending them!

They moved my baby grand piano from one residence to another.. The movers were on time and extremely kind. I could not pick a worse day to move. It was cold and snowing. When they moved the piano to the new residence, to bad timing they arrived an hour before I did. They were extremely patient and took time to shovel the walk way for the furniture movers. Theses Guys are AWESOME!

These guys were phenomenal! I was moving houses and needed someone to help move my ridiculously heavy piano from the old place to the new one, and had a hard time finding someone who both was willing to do it and seemed like they knew what they were doing. Mike & Louis arrived exactly on time, and backed up their truck carefully in a way that enabled them to get the piano out of the house without destroying my yard. Once they got in, they took a look at the piano, and discussed their strategy for getting it in the truck. They noticed that one of the pedals was sagging, and took off the front panel to take a look. Within a few minutes, they had figured out the problem and started fixing it, while tightening up a few other screws and doo dads that had come loose over the previous few years. They added an extra half hour onto their job just because they wanted to do the right thing, and obviously love the instrument. When I asked how much their repair would cost, they insisted they do it for free. Once they arrived at my new house, they took great care not to mar the paint or the newly refinished floors. They took the time to position the piano exactly as I wanted it, and added the floor protectors I had purchased separately. I really couldn't have asked for better, more polite, or more gracious customer service. Stellar.

I have had such good luck with Angie's List referrals I just called Mike & Louis and made an appointment based on the positive reviews. The process was very straighforward. They asked several questions regarding type of piano, where it was located in the home, where it was going in the new location etc. They arrived early and moved quickly; yet took much care. They seem to have a genuine appreciation for pianos.

We used Mike & Louis Piano Moving Engineers based on a referral from our piano tuner. They did a fantastic job. The moved our piano from Madison Heights to South Lyon. They arrived within their stated window, and were courteous when they arrived. They used a specialized hand truck to move the piano inside the home. They even used a drop cloth at the point of entry, since it was wet outside. After positioning the piano, Craig (I think) replaced a missing knob and gave us a piece of needed seat hardware at no charge. It was quite refreshing to see this level of customer service. The price paid was fairly reasonable, from what I know of piano moving costs. The difference with Mike & Louis is their level of customer service. If I move within the local area again, this company would be my first choice to move our piano. I highly recommend them.

They were very punctual and polite. They even vaccumed off the piano, which had been dwelling in a garage for quite a while.

They also took the time to fix my piano bench bracket which I did not know was broken and did it at no charge to me! They recommended a piano tuner which will be very helpful. My brother and I had trouble moving my mom?s fireproof file cabinet out of a closet in the basement where it was kept because it was so heavy. That's when we realized we would have to hire professionals to get it up the stairs. The piano movers gave us a quote in advance and a window of time when they could do the job. They called to let us know exactly when they would arrive, were very knowledgeable and courteous, and made it look easy! They wrapped the cabinet in moving blankets and attached it to a wooden slid. Then with one man pulling and another pushing they maneuvered it up the stairs, then onto a heavy dolly and out to the garage. I was impressed with the care they used to prevent damaging either the file cabinet or the house. They put drop clothes on the floors and stairs before getting started, and where there was vinyl flooring they also put down long narrow boards to distribute the weight and prevent denting. Although we had gotten a quote in advance once they saw my mom they quickly gave her a senior discount of 10%. Overall we were really pleased and would use them again.

They deserve A+'s, not just A's! They were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, prompt with the appointment, and obviously well trained in moving pianos without scratching floors or bumping into walls. I am glad I decided to hire professionals instead of trying to take on this job ourselves. They know what they are doing! For an 800 pound antique 1890's upright piano, they sure made a hard job look easy! Plus, they took time to talk to us about the piano and some of their observations with it. Not knowing much about pianos, I was very happy they were able to point some things out and give some tips. They even gave me the number of a piano tuner who is more familiar with tuning pianos of that age. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of moving a piano. They have even moved some celebrity pianos... Hey, if they trust this company with their prized possessions, shouldn't you??? I know I do.

Mike & Louis Piano Movers are BY FAR the best, most professional piano movers we have ever had. Today they moved a 5'10" grand piano into our house in the most professional, prompt, and courteous manner possible. These people are true professionals who have moved tens of thousands of pianos, and their excellence shines through. They also moved our upright piano across the room to make a space for the new piano, at no extra charge. (In the past, we have had negative experiences with OTHER professional movers who said they could also move a piano, but could not. The result was a disaster!) I gave my little used spinnet piano to my brother for my teenaged nieces to use. Mike and Louis came out to pick the piano up in Harper Woods, calling to let me know when they were en route and even arriving ahead of schedule. They were very coordinated in their process, and it only took them a matter of minutes to have the piano loaded safely onto the truck. At my brother's home in Canton, the movers addressed my sisters concerns about potential damage to her home, calming her fears. It only took them a matter of minutes to get the piano into its place, they were very professional and created no extraordinary disruption to the household. They were professional, punctual, and took great care to protect both my piano and my floors. I needed to buy from them protector to put the piano wheels on to protect the wood floors, and they were able to craft it on the spot. They have been doing this for years and it is clear they take pride in their work. I highly recommend them, and in fact had to use them for a subsequent move of the piano inside our house.

They were professional, on time, and answered all my questions. They took great care not to damage the wood floors. Everything went smoothly. We are temporarily storing the piano at a friend's house. They left a blanket to help protect the floor, and said I could keep it until I call them to move it to its permanent location. A great gesture!

I called the compnay and someone answered immediately. I was able to schedule a time for moving within the week. I confirmed appintment the night before. They were a half hour late but they were coming from Pontiac to Allen Park and road construction is crazy. They were very careful with the furniture and piano. I am happy with the job.

I bought a used piano from a private seller on 11/6. The seller needs it to be moved before 11/8 because she is moving out of town. I called Mike and Louise. They were able to move the piano on Saturday morning. They were punctual with time, and moved the piano very professionally. They even gave me free parts from some of the missing hinges. They also gave me plastic footings for the coasters. The movers were very polite. I am very satisfied with the service.
