It went great! Other piano movers were doubtful that it could be done, and wanted an outrageous price with no guarantee that they could do it. Mike and Louis sent 3 men and they got the job done! Very professional and caring...not a scratch on the piano or the homes! Very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend using them!

Used these guys to transport an old piano that I sold. The movers were great. On time, friendly, and they made sure not to damage the tile in our foyer when moving the piano out. Piano arrived in perfect condition at the new owner's house. Would definitely use them again!

Work was done quickly and efficiently; scheduled time was 12-2pm but I received a call that they would arrive by 10:30am. This was inconvenient but worked out.

A 1940's baby grand needed to be moved to our daughter's house about 30 minutes from our house. The movers wee set to come in the evening. Around 1 pm they found out our piano could be moved early and they called to see if it would work for both of us. This delighted my daughter because the children would be able to eat and do homework without interruption. The movers were very careful to put covering down over my tile floor. They also took care to dismantle and wrap the legs and piano parts. They were very careful with the body of the piano so that nothing shifted in the move. After arriving at my daughter's, the same care was giving to setting up the piano as taking it down. They even provided rubber cups for the legs so that the wood floor would not be damaged. As they checked over the piano they noticed a couple of places where the paint had been nicked in house cleaning and repaired the nicks with a black marker. This company and their employees went beyond my expectations and I would highly recommend them.

Sam and Craig showed up at the agreed upon time and proceeded to go about doing the requested work. Sam took the time to show me how the "scrap" piano came apart and saved me pieces that could be used in the restoration of the "good" piano. Both gentlemen were personable and answered all of my questions. The only reason I am giving them an A is because the isn't a higher score. The service was excellent, friendly, and smooth. They moved the piano up from the basement to the ground floor at the same house. They knew what they were doing and everything went smoothly. I'm happy to be taking piano lessons and enjoying the piano up out of the basement!

I needed to have a piano (full size upright) moved from my boyfriends house to mine (we're selling his) so I called Mike & Louis. The lady that answered the phone was friendly and professional. She gave me a quote and said they had availability the next day between 1 and 3 pm. The following day the gentlemen came about 1:45 pm. The move went very quickly and easily. The men that did the moving were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about pianos. I would definitely use them again.

The two gentlemen happen to be in our neighborhood, so I asked them if they could move a piano into the house from the garage since we couldn't locate the hardware when we moved to the house. They were at my house within a half hour and did a great job and were very nice! This piano is old and has been through a lot of moves while we have had it but they were the best by far. The piano was set on coasters to not damage the floor, provided by them, and they even used a stain pen to make the piano look better than it ever has. They put the piano on coasters and strapped it on then put ramps on our stairs and pads on the floor to bring it in. All in all, a really great company!

This company is the Holy Grail of movers. Sam and Craig moved my old-fashioned studio upright from the basement of the old house to my current house, and their attention to detail is phenomenal. Before they put it in its new location, they even took the time to blow all the accumulated dust out of the piano before it went into the house. They positioned the piano will skill and care, and even moved a big bookcase out of the way that I hadn't been able to lift. It is obvious that both men have skill, knowledge, experience, and a clear respect of the instruments they are moving. They got a 700 lb piano out of the basement without a mark on the piano or the walls. Everything was done with care and concern. As an added bonus, they are both extremely kind and pleasant men. I have had some awful, awful, awful, *awful* experiences with movers in the last year, and by now I am as skeptical and wary as they come. But Mike and Louis Piano Movers are at the other end of the scale. They do an outstanding job. They are the benchmark for how all moving companies should operate. I would recommend them to anyone, anytime, anywhere who wants a piano moved with exceptional skill and care. Hire these guys. They're terrific.

Within just a few minutes, these fine gentlemen had the piano up-ended onto a dolly and out of the bedroom. They set it up for me in it's new spot, reinstalled the sound board, and even offered to fix the missing bracket for the music stand using a part they had on the truck. I haven't had the use of that stand for over 40 years!! They were punctual, professional, and just plain nice people! I would definitely call on them again, and will be referring them to friends and family.

They provided a recommendation for a local piano tuner, installed new bumpers, and pads to protect to the wood floor where the piano sits. All at a reasonable price.
