They called to see if we could meet them sooner than scheduled. They were prompt! Very prepared, pleasant, and took great care in prepping the piano to be moved. As well, they took precautions with flooring, stairs, sidewalks, etc. - both moving out of one home and entering the other. They were friendly and helpful. They even took the time to look up the age of the piano and made suggestions for placement - considering temperatures of the room, sunlight, etc. They were awesome! Thank you!!

We were moving to a new home and needed to get our 60-year-old spinet piano out of a bedroom we had moved it into several years ago. It was a tight fit going in back then and we were afraid it would be a big problem to get it out. Well, with these guys, there was nothing to worry about. They came in, put down floor coverings and assessed the situation. They had to stand it on end to get it through the doorway, but they definitely knew what they were doing. Both gentlemen were very nice and they even fixed a loose wheel on one of the legs. Also, I asked the one movers (I forget his name, maybe David?) if he knew anyone who could touch up some scratches on the piano's finish and he said he did. He gave me the person's name and number as well as the name and number of a piano tuner. We were very pleased with them and if I'd known how well it would go, I could have saved myself months of worry. The only minor negative was the communication with the office. I left a message the first time I called. No one called back, so I tried again and left a second message the next day. Still no response, so I went on their website and sent an email. I received a response from someone (Christine?) apologizing and saying their phone had been dropped and messages were lost. I responded to her, but didn't hear back. Then, a different woman (Mary?) called to set up a time, seemingly oblivious to the other person's email to me. I guess this woman was just doing her job, but she wasn't terribly friendly. So, my only minor complaint is that the office needs to answer their phone and/or return phone calls, and coordinate who is communicating with the customer. The movers were great and that's the most important thing.

Skilled, knowledgeable and courteous - couldn't ask for more with piano movers. These gentlemen treated my baby grand Baldwin with great care and respect, and were wonderful to chat with besides. I booked my appointment only 2 days beforehand, and they fit me in on a busy Wednesday. They did call ahead to let me know they were running about an hour behind; this actually worked well for my own schedule that day (I'm giving them a 'B' for punctuality but not because I was inconvenienced).

I was amazed. They were professional, fast, handled the piano very carefully. It was all done in less than an hour. (It wasn't being moved very far.) They set up ramps at both houses to take it up and down stairs. Really, I can't say enough about how pleased I was with their work. I would recommend them to anyone. If I move it again, I will certainly call them!

I used this company a number of other times moving the same piano to and from other houses I moved to/from. Each time was a very pleasant experience and very reasonably priced. The movers always took great care to move the piano correctly without damaging the piano itself or the house. The most recent time, Mike provided me with some extra "ivory" to use to replace some keys that are missing and gave me a pair of knobs to replace mine.

These guys move the piano on end through the house with four tight 90 deg turns and down the front step and lifted it into a van. The two guys a extreemly strong yet they did not make contact with any of the doors openings that they went through (which were VERY tight fits) and never knicked the piano. I would trust them to move anything.

Two professional movers arrived on time and quickly dismantled the legs and pedals from the piano. They had it on their truck in about 30 minutes. They traveled directly to the final destination approximately 17 miles away, delivered and set up the piano, again in no time at all. I thought this would have cost a lot more. Very happy.

IWhen I called for an appointment, the woman who took the call was able to schedule the move for just two days later. She gave me a two-hour window for the move. On the scheduled date, the movers called to tell me they were running later than expected, but in fact, they arrived well within the promised two-hour block - - yet they still apologized for making me wait. On one of the hottest days of the summer, in an old, cluttered home without air-conditioning, the two gentlemen showed up within the specified time and went right to work in a tight space, wrapping and strapping the piano which had a wobbly leg. In short order, they had the piano on its side and on the dolly, moving it out the door and onto their truck. It was such an oppressively humid day with temps in the high 90's, but they worked efficiently and quickly. I met them at the destination house 15 miles north (thankfully air-conditioned) and just as they pulled up to the door, there was a sudden, torrential downpour. They got the piano inside and set up within minutes, and even reinforced the leg. They were patient while I decided on the placement of the piano in the music room and they made sure it was seated directly on the area rug to avoid an impression on the wood floor. The whole move was done in about an hour and they could not have been more professional and congenial. This company has an old-fashioned work ethic and reasonable pricing, and I am very pleased to recommend them.

The movers managed to get my Yamaha baby grand down a long flight of stairs from a second story apartment and onto the truck. The piano arrived in perfect shape. They set it up very carefully, navigating around other pieces of furniture that we were still in the process of moving. They set up the piano with caster cups and put some new felt pads on the bench so that they wouldn't damage our hardwood floors. In addition, they managed to get a full sized box spring and mattress up the tight, angled staircase at my new house. These guys are experts! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Went great, far better than expected. Called and were able to show up earlier than their scheduled window. Worked quickly, efficiently, and with great care to the doors, walls and stairs to disassemble and haul out the remains of both pianos. Done in one hours time for each. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to anyone I know.

They were so pleasant and professional! They took special care in protecting the piano and the floor during the move. When the piano was returned to the living room, they made minor repairs and caster replacements that they had observed when they first examined the piano prior to moving it. They treated my piano like it was the most job they had on their agenda.

The two movers from Mike & Louis were able to squeeze an old piano up the basement stairs and into our new house without a scratch to the house or the piano. They also had some screws they installed for us to replace some missing ones on the 80 year old piano that were a perfect match. They did a wonderful job and really went above and beyond what I expected.

Excellent. On time and friendly. They earned their money in getting my piano to the basement. They were determined they would get it down. I don't know how many different ways they turned the piano to finally get it down.. There were no complaints about all the problems they had to work around and the amount of time it took..
