Selective Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

The technicians arrived within the time frame they indicated. Work was done quickly and professionally. This was an occupied rental property with elderly tenants. We asked in advance if furniture could be moved and our request was accommodated without a problem. We would recommend and use them again in the future.

The whole process went smoothly. Scheduling was very easy. The crew showed up on time, acted in a professional manner and did an excellent job. I would use them again.

At first they had me booked on the wrong date. I called at 10:30 asking where they were since they had said 9:00. He discovered the problem and then sent out a crew later that same day. Good recovery. Thanks. Everything was cleaned as requested and the job looked good. I thought they would have moved all of the furniture, but they did not . Tables, and or small pieces, did not get moved (beds and really large pieces I understand). The carpets seemed much wetter than with other companies. I called to inquire about this, but was told that is normal. Carpet cleaners are ubiquitous so I would shop the coupons for the best price. That is why I used this company, for their coupon.

Jason from Selective Carpeting was very quick to respond and set up a convenient appointment time. They arrived right on schedule and were very quick yet thorough. Jason followed up after services were performed to check on the our satisfaction. We were very impressed. The two rooms of carpet were going to be replaced because they were in such poor condition. We decided to try professional cleaning first. We were quite satisfied. Saved us having to purchase new carpeting! Looks great.

This company was very professional. They were prompt, clean, quick, detailed, and very courteous. I will definitely be using Selective carpet and upholstery cleaning again. I had purchased the deal for cleaning up to 6 rooms or 2500 sq ft for $167. It was a smart buy.

He came on time, gave me a half hour warning that he was on the way. I asked him to expand the job to include the downstairs and a couple of area rugs and one cloth chair. he was able to add those tasks to his already busy day. he was very professional and just the right amount of friendly. he did exactly what we expected and then threw in cleaning a couple of area rugs for free. every aspect of this interaction was top notch.

They cleaned thoroughly and efficiently. They needed to come back a second time to touch up dirt stained stairs at no charge.

Despite an unfortunate sliding schedule on our side, the selective crew arrived when we asked them to. They were perfect in the way they handled the situation and cleaning and we would definitely use them again should the need present itself.

Called 1/2 hour before coming as requested. Arrived on time. Worked quickly and got the job done even though they were having problems with the equipment on their truck. Went over my stairs a second time at my request with no problems. Moved furniture and left all moved furnature on pads. Both employees were very polite, professional young men. Previously agreed upon price was exactly what I was asked to pay for the services performed. Highly satisfied.

The process is still ongoing. They came and cleaned it, and they got the stains out, but then they reappeared in exactly the same places when it dried. I haven't called them back yet to tell them to come back out and see if they can do any more. I don't think it was their fault, because the stains looked like they had gone when they left. I have a feeling that what they are doing is wetting it and taking it off the surface. The heat is activating the stuff that is beneath and so it keeps re-staining up. We might have to block it or something. So I have to call them to come back out, but they seemed pretty reasonable so I don't think it is going to be a problem. They were very polite and they were very quick. They listened to what our issues were and they were flexible in dealing with the details of the coupon. I am cautious in grading because we haven't solved the problem with the couch yet, so it is a B. If they solve the couch issue it will be an A. I think the price was good. Although they were not on time, they rang to let us know what was going on.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was a home run; it was a good deal. They were timely. They didn't try to upsell me, which I thought was real professional. They did a good job. I plan to use them again.

He was professional and timely. He called to let me know he was running late from the previous job, which I appreciated. . The worksmanship was excellent. They were quick and when they left, it looked like I had brand new carpet.

The technicians did a wonderful job cleaning my carpets (7 areas) in my home including 12 stairs; they took their time and cut no corners; they were courteous and respectful and my carpets look clean and beautiful and I will call them again for future carpet cleaning.

I could not be more pleased. They showed up at 10, as scheduled. They were polite, answered ALL my questions (the carpets were a mess, thanks to the world's greatest cat), and did a fantastic job in just over an hour. I will definitely use them again, both for carpet cleaning and for eventually replacing the carpet all together (it's 17 years old).

It went great. It was a very nice, stress-free experience from start to finish. When I called to make an appointment, I was given a 3-hour window of their arrival time. About an hour into that 'window', they called and told me they were on their way. I appreciated that. They were both very polite and respectful. They answered my questions patiently. They did the work promptly and very efficiently. They left NO mess. I did not purchase a Scotchguard treatment when I bought the coupon on Angie's List. I was happy that they offered that treatment to me at a fair price. They also said they could fix the one spot on the carpet that looked like bleach had dropped on it. They did a very nice job of that, too. All in all, I'm very happy with the work they did and will definitely use them again. I will certainly recommend them to friends and family needing their carpets done.

I was moving and preparing my previous home for a tenant, this meant a lot of organizing, cleaning, and reorganizing, and Selective was very responsive and sensitive to my needs. Jason was very flexible with all of the schedule changes that I had, even if they were last minute. They cleaned carpet and upholstery, and they did a great job! The quality and the pricing was unbeatable.

They called dad and son and lots of tips great work!

I talked to the owner and he answered all my questions. I thought of giving them a try. There were two guys who came out, they are family owned. They were well dressed and very nice. They did not look like they just came out the street because I had a bad experience with that.

The whole process went great! We plan on having Selective Carpet Cleaning back to clean our basement carpeting, once we have all of the boxes unpacked. So, yes we WILL hire them again :) They are really nice people who do a great job (doesn't get better than that)!

The only problem I had is they were a full hour later than the window of time they had told me, which threw my whole schedule off for the day. And the cleaning was promoted as a "chem dry" technique which was supposed to be nearly dry within a short time. When the crew left, the carpeting was clearly "wet" and with the winter, and windows closed, it took well over a full day, closer to 36 hours to be fully dry to the touch. Having said that, the crew was very customer service oriented,and did apologize several times for the delay and the inconvenience it caused.

These guys are timely, professional and reasonably priced. We enjoy working with them. If they are going to be late they phone. They cleaned the carpets in a new home we purchased and restored the carpets in the condo we were moving from (three small kids can do a number on carpets).
