Selective Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

They were late due to unforeseen circumstances (vehicle trouble) but they kept us informed on their ETA. They removed carpet stains downstairs that I didn't really expect to come out. Both guys were very nice and worked hard and fast.

The offer was for up to 300 sq. ft. of tile, which is the amount we have. They charged an extra $60.00 because our tiles are 8 x 8 and they said most tiles are 12 x 12 so it cost extra. I called the owner and told him I wasn't real happy because they didn't mention anything about the extra charge on Angie's List. He stated that it was a mistake and Angie's List set the price for the deal and that he wouldn't be offering it again because the price was too cheap. They did a good job, but I didn't like that they charged the extra money because it didn't say anything about an extra charge for smaller tiles...it just said it was $149.00 for up to 300 sq. ft. of tile. If they wanted to charge more, I think it should have been stated in the offer.

They arrived on time, introduced themselves and went right to work. It only took about 45 minutes I would definitely hire them again.

They were on time, and did a good job. Carpets were clean when they were finished.

First of all, our time of arrival was between 9 and 11 AM. I believe they arrived about 9:30, and after I showed them which pieces of furniture not to move, and Cory asked about any stains they should concentrate on, they got right to work. We didn't have any big stains, only small ones. We had moved smaller pieces of furniture out of the rooms, and got everything off the floor that didn't need to be there, to make it easier for them, so they were able to work efficiently. They were finished in about 45 minutes. Cory apologized for not being able to get a small stain out of the upstairs hallway, but it was orthodontist wax, so I wasn't expecting it to come out. He suggested carefully cutting it out, which I may try. They were punctual, personable, professional, and polite--the four 'P"s of good service, I guess. I was happy that they arrived early in the time block and worked so efficiently, so I had more time to run errands after they left. My husband told me that he wasn't crazy about the idea of getting the carpet cleaned, but was glad that we did. We agreed that Selective Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning did a good job at a great price, and we will have them back again. One final note: In the evening I noticed ripples in the dining room carpeting. I was concerned because this happened to us before when we had the carpet cleaned, and we had to have it stretched. But in the morning, when the carpet was completely dry, the ripples were gone. It takes longer than 6 hours for the carpets to dry completely.

Easy scheduling. On time. Worked hard every minute they were at our home. Excellent results. Very fair price.

The team of two arrived early, surveyed the work to be done, and began immediately. I asked for a very large area to be cleaned, and I think they were here about 3 hours. They first sprayed some sort of dirt releaser, then used a large scrubbing brush to clean the tiles, followed by a rinse and squeeging. Finally a sealer was sprayed on all the grout. I think that the areas that were cleaned in the beginning got cleaner than the areas that were done later. Perhaps they had another customer to get to and were in a hurry to finish everything up. My major criticism: they were not especially careful to not spray their solutions on the wood trim and baseboards or the adjacent hardwood floors or furniture that could not be moved. I did see them use a towel to wipe the wood, but I had quite a bit of additional cleaning up to do. But overall, my tile floors definitely look clean, and I would use them again.

I have used them before and it went very well. We have new puppy and they really helped our carpets look great again

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was fine. The price was cheap.

Able to do all communication for an appointment via email, which was particularly convenient. I needed to cancel at the last minute and reschedule, and did so without penalty or "attitude." They were running late for the appointment and emailed me as such. A phone call would have been better, as I didn't check the email until they were long overdue. They explained two different carpet cleaning options they provided before I made the appointment. I choose the more expensive "roto" cleaning on my older carpet and it was a wise choice. Carpets looked fluffed n' fabulous! Excellent service, efficient, polite and professional.

They were very nice. They explained all that they were doing and going to do. The carpets are nice and clean.

The appointment was for 2pm. They arrived at 5pm. The day was snow and ice and they had trouble with the truck but failed to call and let me know. I had to call them. When they arrived they were efficient. pleasant, and professional.

The men were prompt, courteous and helpful. My concerns were that one, it was a very snowy day and they hadn't brought any protection for my floors from their hoses and their shoes. I have hardwood floors and stairs, and there were small puddles in several places I kept mopping up. Their shoes tracked in snow as well. A simple mover's blanket under the hose would have helped a lot. Also, there are now a couple of mysterious beige areas (several inches in diameter) on my cream-colored carpet that weren't there before. It's too much fuss to have them come back for two small areas, but they shouldn't be there at all. They did a very nice job on the chairs--they both look much better. But on balance, I'll go back to Hagopian.

It was ok. It was for a stain on the couch. It sort of went away but then came back after they left.

The did a good job. 2 young guys with lots of energy. They did the LR, stairs going up, hallway at the top and i bedroom. It was all the same kind of carpeting. short Mohawk shag. cleaned up very nicely. They were young but effecient. Attentive but rapid workers.

The services performed for the price quoted in a quick and thorough manner. The workers were polite, on time and worked quickly. I would use these guys again and plan to do so two or three times a year

The two men were very pleasant and professional. They came a few days earlier than expected and I wasn't prepared but it must have been an oversight. They made no fuss about it and came back on the agreed date. They did a very nice job. There was one spot that I found after they had left that they didn't tell me about but overall things went very well.
