Selective Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

I am so pleased with the service I received from Selective Carpet! I have already referred them to my parents, and I will refer them to others. Right from the start, they contacted me and were able to fit me in on the date I wanted most, which was not much notice. The day of the service, they called to ask if they could come half an hour earlier, which worked great for me! Now for the cleaning . . . I just purchased this very old home with carpet that had dark stains around the baseboards from dirt, dust, oil, etc. I also had a couple stains in the master bedroom and toy room. They were able to get all of the stains minus one out. Although they were unable to completely get the dark stains near the baseboards out, it looks much better . . . better than I even expected! I am a very happy customer and will definitely use them again! Thank you!

It was fine and they came out in a timely manner. They sent 2 gentlemen out to do the job. We like them so well that we also had them clean the carpets in my son’s condo. I would recommend them to anybody and they were very thorough. They were very careful to take their shoes off and not make a mess. They did a fine job and they were very efficient and pleasant.

Cleaning was outstanding. Spot treatment as well as 4 rooms, a hallway, stairs , and throw rugs. Tech's were friendly and very professional. They made suggestions on how to keep the carpet in good shape. I really appreciate the informative feedback they gave me on keeping the walking areas clean. The order was placed by calling the 1 800 #. Kim was very friendly and knowledgeable about the tech's schedule. . We were able to schedule me right away. The tech's called before they arrived. I love everything about this company and my experience has made me a client for life.

It was an Angie's list special. They did a good job and they were there in a timely fashion. I recommend them.

Well, Prompt response to my sign up. Prompt response to setting date and time. Day of appt which was supposed to be between 9-12 ended up being 2:30-3pm. Kept getting calls from staff saying delayed...another call...delayed....another call...delayed... they never told me what the delay was other than they were swamped...come to find out their truck broke down, Had they told me this I would have gone and done my errands and then returned home a new time. Spoke with owner and very apologetic. I would suggest that in future if they run into this problem the dispatcher should call each customer, be honest and explain the situation and reset the times accordingly. The drivers should not be making the calls as they are not equipped to handle irate customers like myself. In the end all was well as the job performed was excellent. The 2 gentlemen that performed the carpet cleaning couldn't have been more professional and kind. Thank you

They were professional, my husband and I didn't think it looked hardly any different.

Carpet was clean enough when they left. However, they weren't careful about managing the hose and damaged the wood and paint on a corner of a doorway and then almost did it again but I stopped them. They offer to paint it, if I had paint and brush... So I said never mind, I'll do a good job later. Also, they were more than an hour late.

They were fast, responsive, and punctual, and they did a great job both communicating and delivering the work.

It went better than all my expectations. Service was quick, and yet comprehensive. The tech's were experienced yet friendly and helpful. . . . Kim helped set the appointment up and she summarized at the end what we had discussed. Great job.

was late by couple of hours. did not do good job of cleaning the grout, fair job of cleaning it. Date: 8/23/14 Just read Companies response. They are not being truthful to cover up their poor service (grout/tile does not need to be replace, grout was not very dirty initially), I was expecting a better cleaning service than what I could clean just as well as they did using standard bathroom cleaner.

The former homeowner had 6-7 cats and the carpet in the bedrooms was pretty funky as a result. I believe they kept a litter box in every room (including the bedrooms). The Selective guys arrived about a half hour early and did a great job. We hired them to clean and deodorize the carpet. They were very polite and worked fast. Since we paid for 4 rooms but only needed 3 done (including a staircase), they threw in a scotchgard treatment. They told us about their other services, (mattress and upholstery cleaning) so we will definitely keep them in mind for future hire. The prices seemed very reasonable for those services.

I purchased the big deal and my experience was good. Everything was fine.

Cleaned living room, dining room, family room, stairs, three bedrooms and closets. The carpet was very dirty in several places. The carpet is very light in color and all the stains are gone. They called 30 minutes before arriving and were right on schedule with the time they gave me. So friendly and professional and the carpets look beautiful. I am so happy with the whole experience and will certainly tell all my friends to use them. Great company.

Went well, he even came back to fix something that was just not right. In th return visit, he was on time and took care of it immediately.

Everything was great but their machine had broken the night before and so they were 4 hours late

The coupon I purchased was for 4 areas, and I only had two rooms of wall to wall carpeting and a hallway. They steamed an area rug as the 4th area.

Appointment was made within 24 hours of purchasing big deal. They called the day of the appointment to fine tune the arrival time, which was very helpful. The guys did a very nice job of cleaning the carpet which included moving a few pieces of furniture. They were fast and the carpet looks great. This is the second time I have used Selective and both times I was happy.
