Selective Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

These guys are the greatest called before they arrived ( as asks ) were on time clean uniform very professional did a GREAT JOB carpets and chairs look like new. cleaned as they went no water or spots left on my wood floors the price was great they did a lot of work for the money and it was a good job not just in and out. can't say enough about this company and the guys who did the job today thank you so much will tell all my family and friends to call you guys going to use them for my office too these guys are the ones to use :)

They did run a little late but called in advance and kept us posted on timing. Very professional and did a very good job. I believe the lip edges of the stairs could have been cleaned more thoroughly as there is still noticeable dirt after the stairs dried, but all-in-all, we were very happy with the job that was done.

They cleaned a living room , dining room , family room, stairway , and hallway. They were very punctual and did a good job of cleaning carpeting that had not been cleaned in a while. They were very professional and I would use them again in the future

It went well. The carpet and seats are very clean after removing 12 years of grime. It looks and smells great. We would use them again!

It was fine. They worked on our Toyota Highlander and it took about 1/2 hour to 40 minutes to do the job.

They never contacted me regarding scheduling within the two business days as noted by Angie's List. When we did speak, there was a scheduling conflict and so I wasn't able to use this company. When I spoke to them they did try to accomodate my schedule needs, however, I was moving and ran out of time. I would have considered using them had the circumstances been different.

The service worked out fine. They cleaned the couch and two recliners that had years of smoke stains on them. I paid additional to have scotch guard on the furniture. They did a nice job overall and were able to get the stains out without any streaks.

It was OK. Working with them was good but I probably need an additional cleaning at this point of the tile.

It went very well. I would use them againif I needed to.

I've never seen the carpet look so good after a cleaning.

Very thorough in cleaning the carpet in hallway, living room and family room that was completed two weeks ago, PLUS minor things like throw rugs (in kitchen & family room). Moreover, two black stains on the family room carpet from the bottom of the rocker have been removed. Today, after upholstery cleaning task on kitchen chairs, office chairs, a rocker and a sofa, they cleaned throw pillows, and arm covers. I had forgotten about a bathroom throw rug they first came in so I asked about it, and they willingly did it. They went above and beyond their duty, and we are very satisfied with everything.

I haven't been able to find a carpet cleaning service that I truly care for. I was referred to Selective Carpet by a friend that used them. I called and gave them a shot since I haven't found anyone else that was up to my standards. I will be using Selective Carpet from now on. They came out, were very professional, quick and efficient. I had a stain in my carpet that past companies couldn't get out and told me that it would never come out. Selective Carpet got it out and I was impressed. My carpets looked great and by the time they were leaving it almost seemed like they were dry. I found my carpet cleaning company from now on!

The company's people were on time and thorough. They were very customer friendly and customer oriented. They knew their business and went about doing it. They got the job done. More importantly my wife was happy which in this case is all that counts. They removed the water and the damaged carpet. They did what they need to do to address potential mold issues and gave solid advice.

I wanted to get all our carpets cleaned before the weekend. Contacted them on Monday, they were able to schedule an appointment for Thursday. Arrived in the timeframe they gave. Friendly staff. The job was complete within a couple of hours, and the results were better than expected (we have 2 dogs, some areas were pretty dirty). Very satisfied with the timing, price and quality. They were very accommodating, we decided to have more area cleaned than we had originally contracted for, and the additional charge was reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Looks brand new. Even cleaned a few separate area rugs as well. Terrific guys. Cody and Corey. Great team.

Kudos! First of all, we were doing work on the house and delayed the service after purchasing the Deal. I asked what they could arrange with a coupon that expired 5 months earlier, and they replied "We would be more than happy to still honor the coupon for you." Appointment was prompt at my convenience. Technicians were very friendly and professional. The result was great. A few areas they couldn't fully clean were clearly beyond redemption. Without request, they also cleaned a few extra small rooms and a runner. This company clearly understands the importance of customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations. I definitely recommend and will use them again.

My husband purchased the service as a surprise to save me from scrubbing the tile and grout. I usually do it every three months with elbow grease, and cleanser with bleach and baking soda. First hoses with metal fittings were dragged over my Brazilian Walnut floors without any care taken so the floors weren't scratched. I put a towel under the metal fitting of the hose. We have two small bathrooms, they were in our home less than a half hour total. When we pointed out that there were some areas of grout that weren't cleaned well, because it would have required a small brush instead of the larger machine we were told that they would not be scrubbing it any more than they had already done.. Water with cleaning solution sprayed over the bottom of our custom cherry cabinets, the floor was left with water standing all over the surface. How can you clean and seal a surface at the same time. It seems to me that if you are cleaning a floor at the same time as you are sealing it all you are doing is sealing dirt in. We didn't,t come ole to 300 sq. ft. Of grout and tile line. Save your money, I would never use Selective Carpet and Upholstery for anything. When we asked the guys a question about our tile the reply was they don't know anything about tile, they just clean it. Really? How do you clean something you know nothing about? This is the second time I am disappointed with a contractor from Angie's List

Jason and his crew really helped me out of a jam. My wife and I own seven rental condos in Ann Arbor. We had tenants move out of one in late July and the carpet was heavily soiled/spotted. Some seams were coming apart. The dining room carpet was in such rough shape that I decided to replace it with a new laminate floor. I set up an appointment with Jason to have the carpets cleaned the day before new tenants were scheduled to move in. Although I was putting the new floor in myself, I asked Jason if he could install transition pieces between the new floor and the adjoining carpet and linoleum. I've never installed laminate flooring before and it took quite a bit longer than I expected. I kept in contact with Jason by phone to let him know how the installation was going, and to give him updates as to when he could come by to do the carpet cleaning and transition piece installation. Jason and his crew ended up coming by the condo in the late evening on the day before my new tenants were scheduled to move in. They did this to accommodate my delayed flooring installation and to help me meet the promised move in date for my new tenants. They worked until about 11pm that night as I recall. I was amazed that they were willing to stay so late. The carpet that had been heavily spotted and soiled came out looking FANTASTIC. Jason fixed the seams that were coming unraveled, and did a wonderful job installing the transition pieces for the new laminate floor. I've used the services of Selective Carpets on several occasions in the past and they have always been extremely dependable and have provided us with outstanding service. I can recommend them without reservation. Jason told me that they also sell/install new carpet and I'm going to look into that for a condo of ours that's opening up September 1.

Excellent job. Showed up on time and with a preliminary "on the way" call. They cleaned the carpeting, including the steps, and did a tremendous job. They were able to remove some stains that I thought I was going to have to live with. They also removed some gum from the carpeting. I would definitely use them again without hesitation.

Did a great job! Was a little difficult to schedule the appointment.

They came on time. Called me an hour before. Were done in like 40 min. They steam cleaned the carpets and the upholstery, got out most of the stains. I would point out that they are not a detailer and so they dont clean the dash and dont have the small vacuum parts to get in the deep spots within the car. But for the price, and the convenience of having it done at home, I have no complaints. They sprayed the car with a lemon scent, which I did not like, but I dont like lemons! I hope they will carry more scents in future.
