Selective Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

They were excellent! They were cooperative, pleasant and polite. They were also exceedingly better than previous companies I had used for the same service.

I purchased a big deal for this service and it was great. I had them here a couple of weeks ago because I needed it right away. I called, made an appointment and everything was good. They could come when I wanted them to come. I actually had to cancel the appointment because I had something else come up. They were able to get me right back onto the schedule. They were really good and I was very happy with them. They did a bunch of extra stuff that was needed and they were very reasonable on the stuff I added. I added extra stairs, an extra room and so it was good. The only thing I was not happy with was that my carpet was wetter than I expected it was going to be when they were done. The price was great.

This company doesn't seem to have any training in grout or tile cleaning. The tile had mud that could be wiped up with a wet rag on the tile when they were done. Another area had a white film on it and they claimed they couldn't clean the limestone tile floor in the shower. The deal said Tile and grout cleaning and sealing but the tile wasn't sealed. There were light stains in the grout that it didn't appear they even tried to remove. In and out in about a half hour. When I asked for a refund they refused. The did come back and tried a second time to clean against my preference for a refund. The second time it was better but still not even close to what a professional tile and grout cleaning company typically does.

It took several email exchanges until the date of service was scheduled, rescheduled, and finally occurred. This could have been a problem related to the Angie's List email interface. We would recommend avoiding the the Angie's List email interface and use more direct methods of contact. We probably wouldn't use them again due to lack of attention to detail. A big smear of white sun lotion on the passenger seat was still there when they were "done". Although the offer was clearly and fairly described as just for upholstery and carpet (not a full detail), we really should have scheduled another company that could have done a full detailing that we needed after our family road trip to Maine.

The tile cleaners came and were showed the areas to be cleaned. In the laundry room, they were speficially told not to move the washer or dryer - just to clean the path in front of machines which is all we wanted cleaned. They moved both the washer and dryer but did not tell us. The dryer tubing became detached after they moved it and when a load of wash was dried the next day - water was all over the walls and floors. I called to have them come back and hook up the dryer and was told that I would be charged for a service call in spite of the fact that they ignored our request not to move the dryer. Second, after they put cleaning solution on all of the tile floors, their pressure machine broke. It took an hour for them to find a part. We believe the machine never worked after they "fixed" it as seen on tile and grout that did not get clean (tile and grout that was only 3 years old). Since everything was wet before they left, it was difficult to tell that those areas were not cleaned. Last, I do not believe that any sealer was put on the tile and grout. and if it was, they basically sealed in the dirt and grim they did not clean. We would never recommend this company for tile and grout cleaning. They are anything but customer friendly or responsive to poor service.

Ok, they came over, hooked up the water and began cleaning the love seat and couch. There was a lot of water on our wood floors and they ran out of towels. I had to locate my own towels, oh, and a few of my own fans. The fans were ok because I needed to run them after they left to finish the drying.

Provider was very professional, courteous. Very satisfied with their quality work. They even removed a few stains on the carpet that was not part of the work. Will definitely recommend them,and use them for future carpet, furniture cleaning

The work went ok, they put stuff down and seemed to steam it. They did not clean it well enough. I had to show him how I wanted things to be cleaned. There were water spots all over the floor and I had to go back and clean it myself. I expected the grout to be a lot cleaner.

It went pretty well. I like their quickness and efficiency in their job.

It turned out fine. The guy was good and was all by himself. He was efficient and got the work done quick and was polite.

The Selective Carpet team were very professional and courteous. They did an amazing job especially when some of the carpet stains were many years old. After they completed the job, my carpets looked brand new. They went above and beyond to be sure I was a satisfied customer. I would recommend them and plan to use them in the future. It went very well. They were very good.

It turned out pretty good. I was satisfied. They did what they said they would do. The main likes were---they did a better job in where the carpet meets the wall then the company that I was using. They also used...on the corners...they are dragging the hose around but they have corner protectors that they set up. There were two people that came out so they were fast and efficient. I was happy with them.

The gentlemen kept us well advised of arrival time. They completed the work efficiently and promptly. They explained that stains in some areas may not come out, might be lighter at best, which was understandable. For the amount of time on site, the price seemed a little high, but I have no benchmark. Got it done and would have taken a lot more time to do it myself.

They did what I asked in a professional way.

I would definitely do business with this company again. They were professional, arrived on time, and reviewed exactly what they would be doing. They went immediately to work and finished the job in about an hour. My carpeting looked like new. I was extremely pleased. they did a beautiful job.

No details. They just did what they were supposed to do. Did an excellent job.

We were very happy with his service in the gamily room. He also sugested a way to improve the carpet in the dining room and gave us a quote on that with no pressure

They arrived in the scheduled time window, quickly got going and were done quickly, and everything came out great. They did a large living room, a family room and a bedroom, and the stairway from living room to family room.

The service was good. The big deal was for $99 and there weren't any additional charges. They did rip out a chunk of carpet that needed to come out, and they didn't have to do that, but they did, which I thought was really cool. They came when they were scheduled, they threw in a couple of freebies, they were in and out in a professional, and courteous manner, and they were quick, and efficient.

It went very well. The appearance of the tile is very much improved. Both the bathroom floor and the shower stall are brighter. There were some places in the grout where there were slits, and we had hoped they would repair those spots, but apparently that was not part of the service. This was a very minor consideration. The two men who did the work were very courteous and very pleasant. My mother was most pleased with the service and the outcome.

It was good service. Additional cost is also reasonable.

Took out all the lumps. GREAT job!! Jason also answered all our questions and gave advice on cleaning and carpet life.

Guys called before arriving. They were VERY professional and polite. Really nice guys. Offered a scotch guarding special for an additional cost. Put guards under all furniture legs. Warned of how long things would be wet. Gave me their card and told me of additional services. They were a pleasure. The bad is, I was told the scotch guard would make stains lie on top of carpet. Dog yakked on carpet a couple of weeks later. I can't get the stain out. Also, we have an area where dog pees when left alone (she's old and anxious and sometimes kids don't lock her up). This is why we got the carpet cleaned to begin with. Strange thing: the very light stain we had turned into a very dark stain after the cleaning. IDK if the process brought urine out of the padding, but now we have a big, yellow blot on the carpet where one didn't exist. I haven't called Selective Carpet to tell them this yet. Based on my experience with them, I have every hope they'll assist in ridding of us the stain. I'll update once that's happened.

I messaged them about 10 days before Thanksgiving. They responded right away, we set up appointment. Cory came when they said he would. Did a great job and was even able to help my neighbor out without an appointment. He was courteous, and did a great job
