Setting up a date was very easy. Company contacted me very soon after buying deal with Angie's List. Owner listened to my carpet concerns (I had multiple issues including cat pee and stains from little kids) and explained to me in detail the options as well as plan we agreed on. They came out the next week right on time and worked very efficiently. My carpets looked so wonderful after the clean! And the odor from cat pee is gone! Wonderful service and results. This is our second time using this company and we will continue to use them in the future! I highly recommend.

This provider did an excellent job. They exceeded our expectations. The two technicians that came out, Cody and Kevin have been out before and they continued with their high quality performance. In addition to the job that they were hired to do, they did more work that they did without having to be asked. They cleaned the stairs and a throw rug without being asked. They cleaned a spot in the living. Everything came out so well that our carpets look brand new.

Although I paid a lower price, I received very high quality cleaning. This is the best carpet cleaning service I have ever used. The last time my carpet looked this good is when it was new. The next time my carpet needs cleaning, I will call this company--won't consider using anyone else!

They came and they did an okay job.

They did one bathroom pretty good. However, in the second bathroom it seems they forgot to complete the shower stall walls and ceiling. I never did call and ask about it, I might reach out to them.

I called Selective Carpet Cleaning on Friday 4/8/16 to schedule a cleaning after having had a positive experience with them in the past. An appointment was made to have the carpet in our basement cleaned, disinfected, and deodorized between the hours of 12pm and 2pm on Saturday, 4/9/16. I received a quote of $129, and was advised that the crew would contact me when they were en route. At roughly 1:45pm on Saturday, 4/9/16, I contacted Selective Carpet Cleaning to inquire where the crew was, as the end of the appointment window was approaching. I was informed that the representative scheduled to work at my home was running behind, but would be wrapping up soon and would be heading my way right after he was done with the current job. At 3:05pm, I had still not received a call from the rep scheduled to work at my home, so I called Selective Carpet cleaning again to obtain the status of the rep's arrival. The representative I spoke with was surprised to hear that the rep scheduled to work at my home had not called yet. I informed her that I was no longer willing to pay the full $129 that I had been quoted, as they had missed their two-hour appointment window by over an hour, costing me valuable time on a weekend. She stated that she was unwilling to come down on price to compensate for their tardiness, so I cancelled the appointment with the intention of awarding the job (and all subsequent future jobs) to one of Selective Carpet Cleaning's many competitors. I am very disappointed that my previous positive experience with Selective Carpet Cleaning has been soured by this one.

i honestly think I could have done as good a job. The guys did the work but I didn't see much difference.

After the second missed appointment, I requested a refund on my payment----the provider said that would have to be done thru Angie's List. When I contacted Angie's List about the complaint and request for refund, the contact person there initially told me it was not the policy to issue refund, wanted to direct me toward another "deal". I told him I wasn't interested in another deal, and after going back and forth on the issue, the refund was finally granted. Lousy experience all the way around. I dislike the review format---there was no "date of service"---should have an option to enter "Not applicable" since the service was never done!

The worker had to work alone, but he did an excellent job. What particularly pleased me was the degree that he was able to clean the grout in the master bathroom where tiles had been replaced.

There were several pet stains that the tech said he could remove with no problems. While the tech was at ,my house it appeared that the stainsame were gone. However after the carpet dried completely the stains reappeared.

We've used Selective carpet a few times great to work with makes scheduling a breeze with can be hardest part. Showed up on time did great job on carpet and couches price was very competitive would highly recommend

Excellent service! Prompt, called ahead to let me know they were on the way. Grout looks amazing. So pleased to have contacted them to do the work.

They arrived on time. It was snowing outside and they didn't make any preparations to keep the water off the wooden floors. I rushed to find towels and boxes to protect the wood. The lines had snow on them and they were dragging the snow covered lines over the wood floors. The carpets were cleaned, but it took 2 days to dry unless I brought in fans. When they left, they didn't clean up the standing water on the floors or ask for feedback. I spend the rest of the afternoon cleaning up water drops on the wood floors. I assumed the cleaning would be the quick dry and didn't expect to wake up the next morning to damp carpet.

It was fine. There was no additional cost. They did what I asked them to do.

They were nice, but I don't think I would use them again. The price was good, I think they could have done a better job on my tile. It wasn't that bad anyway, I just wanted someone to come in and clean it with a shield. It wasn't what I expected. They were late getting here. They were very professional, I had no problem with them. I just think the tile could have looked better. They were friendly, professional, and nice. I would not use them again. They set it up right away with me. They called me right away to set up the appointment.

They led me to believe that the grout would be completely cleaned. It led me to think that it would be white in between the tile lines. They did clean it but the tile lines were still there in between the tiles.

Just ok, they did not seem to go the extra mile on the service. Not as into doing a great job as I would have thought they would have been.

They came on time, were very professional and left the carpet looking clean. I would certainly consider using them again the next time we need to have the carpets cleaned.

They did an excellent job and even cleaned a small spot in another room for me at no extra cost! I was very pleased and have used them before and will use them again in the future.

It was fine. They were very courteous and hardworking. Everything turned out nice.

Arrived still within the time window but we almost thought they wouldn't arrive at all. No courtesy calls to tell so until the 11th hour when they called to tell they were stuck in traffic delaying another 40ish minutes. After the crew arrived the service went quick and swift, the carpet wash went up ok. My wife felt mistreated when the crew left since they seemed to be in a hurry to leave and did not review the final results with her. At the end that did not leave a good impression on her even if the work was well done, I guess the last impression is the one you keep after all some times. Maybe this was just a bad day but we'll have to try another service provider the next time we need a similar service.

We used the Angie's list deal, we paid a bit more to get our entire upstairs done but the extra cost was extremely reasonable. We had just purchased our home and wanted to get stains, pet smell, etc... out and just have a fresh start. These guys were quick, efficient, and just did a fantastic job. Will definitely use in the future.
