Selective Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

Fabulous. The folks did an awesome job. They even cleaned the carpet in the family room free of charge. I would definitely recommend them.

Very good work done. Steam extraction technology. Had shampoo done 2 weeks previous by different provider. Far superior job with this firm.

I have tried in the past to get someone straighten my carpeting, but nobody would touch it. Stores seem interested with only selling new carpeting. Selective did a great job! The carpeting is now flat and tight. The power scrubber in conjunction with their cleaning mixture resulted in a like brand new carpet (it is 16 years old). My long term stains and dirt (I have an off-white Karastan carpeting w/o pets) came off. In the past, I used other outfits and have my own carpet cleaner. It never looked this good except when new. I would definitely recommend them. Remember, with dirty carpeting - request their power scrubber. Nice family outfit.

Although they had to cancel the first appointment due to a vehicle issue, we rescheduled and did an excellent job. They were very fast, professional, and the carpets look great.

The guys did a very nice job. They arrived within the stated time frame and worked very hard but efficiently to clean the entire house's carpet. I have used them before and will likely use them again.

In fact they moved just one mattress, did not move a small bed, and when I asked they told that the do not move things. I moved myself when I saw this, and they were pretty unhappy that they need to clean that area. They were very reluctant, I showed them that this is not clean but they said that's all they can do and that they do not restore carpet, they just clean. They did not clean (neither vacuum) in a closet. All over it is far of a good job, I do not recommend them at all, despite their excellent reviews.

Selective Carpet staff get an "A" for friendliness and promptness. They arrived on time. Communication was "A." A bathroom floor was added to the job on the spot. Pricing was right for it. Work would have merited an A if they had wiped threshhold in the walk in shower. Mold was showing in the corners of the shower. In fairness to Selective, removing mold was not part of the job. I asked about it and they told me to get bleach spray. I did not expect them to remove mold, but it would have been better if they had mentioned it to me. I took their advice and took care of it. A "white glove treatment" would have earned a "A." Overall, good work, friendly service. I want to be fair to them! Quality of Job = B+

Very happy with results. Two professional and personable technicians worked quickly and efficiently. I was very pleased that they were able to remove 3 soiled spots on carpet that I was unable to remove myself. Very good work!

Overall the service was great. They were able to remove some stains that I thought were there for good. The carpets look new again. We were very satisfied and would use them again.

This was a $129 big deal purchase. It turned out very poorly. It was a fixed fee that I got on Angie's List and they were just in a big hurry to get out. If they stayed 15 minutes that would be a lot. They just wanted to get in and out. They left big puddles of water in some areas. I would never get them again. They do grout plus carpeting. Grout is one of their other things. They did a poor job. It was kind of a surfacy job. They were here and gone in no time flat. Their responsiveness was pretty good. I would rather pay more and get somebody who does a good job.
