Selective Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

it went ok. cleaned but odor is still there. now have to replace the carpet. would of rather replaced it if I would have known cleaning would not help. Price was less but no refund given.

They gave a reasonable price for extra rooms, showed up on time and did their work in a professional manner.

The whole thing went really well. I purchased the coupon through Angie's List but had to pay additional as I had the whole house cleaned. Selective Carpets contacted me right away and we set up an appointment for Oct 8th. They showed up on time, were very professional, and went right to work. The carpets look really good, I had some stains that I thought would never come out and they got them out. I did not rate them an "A" as my carpets were very wet after. I turned my heat on to get them to dry and did not put my house back together until Sunday evening waiting for things to dry out. Wish they would have sucked more water out. However, my carpets look really great and I will hire them again in the spring for my spring cleaning.

They're very nice, but they don't move furniture. I was unhappy about that. They did a good job, except they didn't move the furniture. The workers were very nice. They could be moving the furniture. Other companies shift the furniture, the couches and stuff. So they need to do the same. What stands out is that they were very nice, they were respectful.

They were very nice about rearranging date and cleaned carpets well. Courteous guys and removed all stains.

The guy did a great job. He took his time and went over and above to get all traces of pet urine smell removed from the carpet. Very polite.

Kim in their office, I believe their manage, was great. You couldn't ask for anyone better. The individual that came, Cody, has been here before. He has exceptional talent for dealing with spots and stains. He makes carpets look brand new again with his ability. He was assisted by Kevin, who I would also give high marks. The special deal was for 2 areas and they worked with me to do my several small spots instead of two full rooms. They went over and above that and did the stairway without us asking and a rug we had by the front door! When you find people like this you have the highest regard for them!

Very well. We gave them a very hard job. Our carpet has an old pet a stain area that would not come out. Selective's employee offered to return and work with us on replacing the pad under that spot. This is meant only to reflect the willingness to go the extra mile. We are considering this option. Everything else turned out great!

Excellent! The young man was punctual, professional, met all my requirements and wanted me to check his work to verify my satisfaction. He was thorough and completed all areas within the designated time frame we had arranged.

Everything went very well. They showed up as promised, cleaned the rugs and were on their way. Excellent job and cost was right too.

carpet was very wet and took over 24 hours to dry

The technician was not aware of all of the details of the deal, but there was no problem when I told him. He was not prepared to clean the rugs and had to arrange for the correct truck to come back, which they did in a timely manner. Don't think the process was anything special, but he did a great job and was very thorough and polite. I purchased additional carpet cleaning to be done at the time that they returned. The carpet cleaning seemed to be done well, but might have been a little pricey for the small area that was cleaned. However, I think they tried to make up for that by doing a couple of extra area rugs. All technicians were very polite and professional and I would use the company again.

I called and made an appointment for an estimate. I arranged my schedule to be available for a full two hour window. Nobody came, not even a telephone call during the two hours to say they were delayed etc. Someone did call after the two hour window and told me that they might be able to make it in one hour and "that was the best he could do". I asked why I did not get a call earlier and the best he could come up with was that he did not know he had an appointment??? How did he know to call me if he didn't know he had an appointment???? Maybe it is all for the better because I can only imagine how much the estimate would have been, considering the fact that they do not even keep appointments when they haven't even got your business yet.

Went great. I had bought a special for this service. Received an immediate response for scheduling. Then a nice phone call for follow up. Today was the scheduled day for cleaning, received a call from Corey letting me know he was on his way and approximate arrival time. Very personable, courteous young man. He did an excellent job on my 20 plus year old carpet. I am very pleased with the results. And just so you understand, good quality carpet had been bought with top quality padding. It does not look any where near as old as it is. It didn't look bad before it was cleaned but looks fabulous now that its been cleaned. I will definitely be calling this company again. Thank you.

They were fast, efficient and pleased that we had moved a lot of "stuff" on to the bed or out of the way.

Jason and his crew were extremely helpful - we've discovered that we have a problem area with one of our rooms' carpeting and it caused issues with cleaning/drying it, but Jason not only came back multiple times to work with us further to resolve, but also gave us some of his drying equipment. Very responsive and professional service - recommended!

This is the second time we've used this service and found them to be very thorough and courteous. I would use them again.
