Description of Work: Cleaned carpets at a rental house. Carpets were pretty bad, so they did the best that they could.

Description of Work: cleaned my sofa and chair which is white and the damask material and sofa stuffing difficult to clean. it looks better but not great but they ar least tried. The other company would not even try. i will use them again

Description of Work: We hired Selective Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning to clean a sofa, two easy chairs and an ottoman. They really did an incredible job! Before they arrived I was so worried they might not be able to thoroughly clean the sofa arm where my husband always sits, but they got it clean, amazingly! (It was really very soiled and dirty.) Now the furniture in our family room looks new again. I'll definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: Cleaned carpet in basement and 11 stairsteps leading down to the basement. The chemicals used were of a pleasant odor and extremely effective. More importantly, they were on time and expedited their work and, at the same time were very efficient.

Description of Work: They cleaned the carpets in four areas including the partial staircase to the upper level in record time and did a great job. The guys that came out were very personable, polite, and professional. They came out to re-do the areas a different company cleaned three months ago that attracted an unacceptable amount of dirt. We used Selective before this as well and shouldn't have strayed (we used a different place because of a significantly reduced drying time since we had an event at our house - not because of anything Selective did). We won't stray again!

Description of Work: I'm requesting to receive a full refund on the Big Deal purchase from SELECTIVE CARPET & UPHOLSTERY CLEANING because the company representative informed me that they do not re-grout prior to sealing. They came out an hour and forty minutes late (original appointment window was from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM but showed up at 3:45 PM) to my house due to their prior job having taken longer, which is understandable but it would have been more courteous if they had call me to inform me as such rather than me having to call them after they had already missed the appointment window. When they showed up, they could not and did not perform any work. They apologized for the misunderstanding but it appears they need to revise how they advertise.

Description of Work: DID TILE IN KITCHEN, 1/2 BATH & HALLWAY-FOYER,AND UPSTAIRS BATH. COUPLE OF AREA IN KITCHEN, DID NOT CLEAN UP WELL AND UPSTAIRS BATH-ROOM HAD SOME GROUT WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. WE WERE TOLD THOSE AREA WOULD BRIGHTEN UP WHEN DRY, DID NOT HAPPEN. LEFT TOO WATER ON FLOOR IN SOME AREAS. MAYBE, RUSHING AND TIME RESTRAINT WERE THE PROBLEM.

Description of Work: We are in the process of selling our home. It is essential that the carpets be kept clean and free of stains. We also have two cats who are not on board with the keep the carpets clean. Selective showed up on time and did their job. Carpet looked great.

Description of Work: I had this service provider clean the rugs of my daughter's condo. A couple of things bothered me so I can't give a better rating. They say first impressions are important and the first thing I noticed is that their truck had no advertisement nor markings of any kind to indicate the name of the company. Also, it didn't appear to be all that well maintained . On top of this the vacuum unit in this particular truck keep shutting down. It took several minutes each time it shut down to restart it. The last time it stopped I was on the verge of calling the company to ask for a new truck but lucky the employees got the machine going again. The cleaning they did was good but not excellent. I would have like to seen uniformed employees and I didn't appreciate that in order to pay with a credit card it would have cost me an additional 4%.
