It went very well. He was on time and was able to work around my schedule. He inspected my roof and made some minor repairs and also replaced a few strips of shingles that had blown off. I would definitely consider them when I need to replace my roof. I was very happy with their service.

All in all, the guy was super friendly and professional. He provided an estimate for my skylight and some referrals for my attic issue. (Ice dams in the winter) I wish I would not have wasted the $119 for the maintenance package and just had someone come out for an estimate on getting the skylight fixed. I am super bummed that I spent money for someone to tell me I needed a new window. I would have rather put that moeny towards a new one. Oh well, lesson learned I guess.

Don from Renaissance Roofing provided a new roof estimate. I appreciate that I could get an appointment on the next business day. Don provided a thorough inspection of roof and attic and gave a very detailed quote. Although we did not use this company for our project, I would definitely recommend considering this company when you having a roofing need.

The owner came out and explained everything thoroughly. He showed me samples of the roofing and showed me what the samples looked like on a actual roof. He also gave me a coupon that saved me $600. Sean was the supervisor, he was very professional and courteous. His crew cleaned up extremely well after the job. I found no debris in my yard, driveway, or any place else. I'm very impressed with this company and would recommend them to anyone.

Renaissance Roofing was the third company (of three) that I got a quote from for my roof. They gave me a thick packet of materials explaining all kinds of aspects of the roof -- shingles, deck guard, ventilation -- plus copies of all their Angie's List accolades, and even a list of homes they have done, with addresses, so that I could see what a particular roof I may be interested in actually looked like on a house, as opposed to just in a catalog. As I recall, the representative did go up on the roof for an inspection. The second company I got a quote from, Neighborhood Roofing, went inside my attic to determine what was needed from the inside (in addition to going on the roof). Of the three companies, Neighborhood Roofing did the most thorough inspection. I got some conflicting information from Neighborhood Roofing and Renaissance Roofing. I had wanted a ridge vent for my new roof. Neighborhood warned that the slope on my roof was not steep enough, and that if there was a lot of snow, it could cover up the vent, blocking the ventilation until the snow melted, and possibly causing mold issues. He said he would, of course, do the ridge vent if I wanted, but I would need to be sure to have the snow removed if it was covering up the vent. I asked the Renaissance Roofing person about the situation, and seemed completely unconcerned about the slope of my roof -- he did not think it would affect the ventilation at all. The Renaissance Roofing person was the most "salesy" of the three quoters. He was not pushy, but he definitely had that salesperson quality. In the end, I chose Neighborhood Roofing. One reason was that I thought their ventilation system was superior to what Renaissance Roofing was offering (the ventilation portion at the lower roof edge). The second was the more thorough investigation that Neighborhood did. The third was because I felt Neighborhood's point about the slope of the roof was a valid concern, and I felt like the Renaissance Roofing person just blew it off.

As promised, the job was completed in one day. A couple of problems were resolved to our complete satisfaction subsequent to December 1st. We highly recommend Renaissance Roofing.

It went well. The job started on the Morning of November 7th. I met with the onsite supervisor and asked some questions regarding our job. I explained some of the concerns I had before they started and they addressed all of them. The job entailed removing two layers of shingles and installing GAF shingles. Knowing the time of the year and size of the job, they removed and shingled half of our roof. They came back on Monday and finished. Each day the owner was their to assist the crew whether it was shingling or clean up. I was impressed by his leadership and teamwork skills.

Excellent diagnosis and workmanship. Renaissance came out and diagnosed a ventilation issue that several other companies overlooked. They were competitive on price and took a couple of hundred dollars off to match my lowest comparable bid. The job turned out to be bigger than originally intended and they ended up replacing over 40 sheets of plywood on my roof. Work was done on time and as promised. Renaissance was very fair when we finally settled up, and the workmanship appears to be great. All staff were technically competent. Strongly recommend Renaissance to anyone who needs a roof replaced.

They did it as expected, and there were no surprises, because they did my roof, and my daughter's roof. We have quite a bit of experience with them.

They do what they say they are going to do, they have a wide range of products, and they do a workmanship like job of installing the roof.

Their prices were triple their competitors pricing.

The owner Don was very thorough. He stayed for a very long time addressing all my concerns on day of estimate. Price and product were very competitive. We went with a slightly lower estimate that was able to perform services a few weeks earlier, but would have been very comfortable with this company, and we would get work from them in the future.

One of the best home improvement companies we have ever worked with. From the beginning they kept us updated on the start date of the project so we were never wondering if they would be coming. This was very good since roofing is weather dependent. There were no negative surprises. On the positive side they replaced a piece of siding we had lost in a storm we were unaware of. The crew had very high work standards and work ethic. All of our landscaping was protected and our new driveway was completely covered during the work. The job was done quickly and professionally and looks great. The cleanup was excellent. We are also confident should any problems arise Renaissance will take care of it. The company has or highest recommendation.

This company knew their work and their information. They were very technical; he went through it with me. He was 100% right on what he said. He went up on the roof and measured everything by himself. He took a very good look. They are very professional and a first rate company.

Don came out himself to quote a new roof with tear off of old roof. Very professional and no high pressure sales. He didn't try to sell me more than I needed or wanted. The crew came out a couple weeks later and arrived at my home very punctually at 7a.m. Everyone was just as professional and friendly as Don. The new roof (about 37 square) was finished in about 8 hours including tear off of old roof. They protected all my landscaping before starting the job and cleanup was exceptional. They left the job site cleaner than they found it. The quality of the roof seems to be top notch. I don't see any seams, the roof has weathered a few storms already and there has been no leaks or lifted shingles. I couldn't be happier.

Excellent. Recommendations were followed, and recommended contractors were "A" level. These recommendations included attic work, gutter work, ice damming prevention, and a few roof shingles replacement. Team was thorough, responsive, and articulate in their findings.

They were terrific! From my first contact with the company to set up an appointment for an estimate until the moment the crew drove off after completing the job, everyone was helpful and professional. Jack came out to give me an estimate for the work, explained my options clearly, and answered all my questions. It never ceases to amaze me how service providers can behave as though women aren't quite bright, but Jack didn't talk down to me as though I might not understand how roof ventilation works. One really helpful facet of the estimate was that he gave me a list of addresses near my home where Renaissance has replaced the roof and the type/color of shingle installed; it was great to be able to see the actual product on an actual roof before choosing for my own home. And Jack took a photo of my home and was able to email me photos of what each product would look like on my house. Cassie in the office was a dream to work with, calling to schedule the work, then calling again the week of the appointment to confirm (or reschedule if there was a rain delay), then calling the day before to make sure I knew when the materials would be delivered and that I was prepared for the work to be done (leave the driveway clear, etc.). She also dealt kindly with my anxiety about scheduling: I was traveling during part of the process, which complicated matters, but the Renaissance team was helpful throughout. As for the work itself, the crew arrived right on time and got to work immediately. I met Sean to show him where the power source is for the electrical equipment, but other than that, I stayed out of the way until they finished. I'm delighted with how the roof looks and they did an exceptionally good job cleaning up the debris afterwards. Throughout, they were careful about shielding my windows and trying not to damage the landscaping. As they were cleaning up, I did a walk around to make sure there were no problems: not a one! I couldn't be happier with Renaissance and would use them again in a heartbeat.

They were just great and we had a lot of work done. Their price was in line with anybody else and was reasonable. Their work was great and I liked everything about them. I did not dislike anything. My advice to other Angie's List members would be to definitely hire them. They were good.

Don showed up when he said he would. Even though he knew what the issue was with the roof (cracked soil stack flange), he still went up the roof, walked around, took pictures and came down and informed me sharing the picture of the crack and the area that needed recaulking. He wrote up a quote which was a lot better than another one I received, he said it was a small job so they may squeeze us in shortly. We called their office to get the ball rolling, we did not have a copier or fax to send the signed proposal back but wanted them to get the job done. We agreed that we will get them a signed copy even if it means driving to their offices (5 miles away). They called later in the afternoon and we got to agree that they would come in today with paperwork that we can sign, and they will get the job done right away. They came, we signed, they got the job done, we called the office, told them to put the balance on the same card, they said they would and send us an invoice. Done, flawless delivery, punctuality, price and professionalism. I highly recommend them

Was on time, friendly, and explained everything in the estimate. Decided not to utilize due to being in the higher price range. With that being said, the higher price range included additional ventilation installations that other competitors didn't offer. Price range for the work on my home was estimated from $7,500 to $10,000.

Renaissance Roofing did a great job from start to finish, from the initial estimating by Don, the scheduling by the Karen & Cassie in the office, and the fantastic work by the Sean and his crew. The job was originally scheduled for Friday, but because of approaching weather they slid to Saturday so that it could be done in one day. The guys showed up at 7 am and hauled some major @$$, tearing off and replacing 30 sq of materials in about 6 hours! After another hour of meticulous clean up of every nail, staple, piece of shingle, and bit of tar paper from the yard, they were gone.The roof looks fantastic, they used high quality materials, and every member of the team was pleasant, courteous, and professional. Can I give these guys a rating higher than an A+??? Thanks again Renaissance - I will recommend you to everyone!

Very professional, efficient and quick response to getting an estimate on the repairs needed all thru emails. Actual repair work was performed within less than 2 weeks of the proposal. Only rec'd one estimate since relied on previous reviews of this contractor thru Angie's and due to the fact that a few other contractors contacted were extremely busy and could not come out to look over damages within a reasonable period of time. 1st time used. Thought price was just a bit high but figured it was best to go with a reliable contractor that also performed the work as quoted.

It was excellent! I liked the customer service and the price.

The provider was detail oriented and conscientious. He noticed we had inadequate venting of our soffets and add more, and at the same time added insulation in our attic area, to increase the effectiveness of our structure. He was punctual and finished the job as scheduled.
