The first time that I called the actual owner came out and gave me some brochures, paperwork and reviews. He gave me several references and explained a little bit about himself and what he does. I was surprised at the comfort level he had to provide me all of that information. I was expecting someone to just look at it and tell me an estimate but he did a lot more than that, which was nice. I've used him a few times now. They are really good at follow up. if you call and ask a question or need an estimate they respond very quickly. I told them that I prefer email so they just email me the estimate and invoice and I reply back to them. It works very well. With the raccoon damage they actually told me right there it would cost about $120 and they fixed the problem right away without having to come back.

Overall it went very well. The work was completed on the low side of the estimate. The workers arrived ahead of schedule and cleaned up after the job. We have had some serious rain since the repairs and I have had no leak issues.

Renaissance Roofing Inc Company did several minor things before they actually did the insulation. I was very pleased with the result of their work. I liked the fact that they didn’t do just the one thing that I hired them to do. They checked out related things that I would probably want to have done and suggested it to me before they did it. They were flexible in adding more work to what we had originally bargained for. They were quick and did a neat job. I would use them again in the future.

Everything went very smoothly from the estimate to the completion of the complete roof package. All questions and concerns were addressed quickly and professionally. Work completely finished on time. He even helped fix a gutter that need an extra piece and did not charge me for that extra work. Don has quality operation and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

They were very efficient and had the entire project done in a week. They did excellent. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I compared their price quote and they had a very competitive price. They pointed out a lot of different problem areas (other than the issue they were hired to fix), took pictures and explained why it was a problem. I haven't had any problems with the roof since. They cleaned up very well. At my request, they even painted a trim board to match everything else.

I think what did it for me was that the guy came out to give an estimate, and I had a few others come out to give an estimate, the owner of the company got up on the roof and took a look around, as did the guys from the other companies, at least one any way. He gave me an estimate that found where the leak was, which the other companies had not done, and was able to fix the leak, quickly without any charge at all. He then said we really needed to get something done about the roof, so I was pretty impressed. I got a fair price and he did a professional job. I don't think I could have even told that the roof was redone. Everything was cleaned up and looked great.

They came out when we called them and didn?t make excuses about not showing up, which was a big thing. They did a good job and did it on time. The price was alright - it was probably average. We would use them again in the future if necessary.

Renaissance Roofing was in high regards on Angie's List when we chose them and we were pleased also. The prices were very reasonable. They cleaned up thoroughly before they left. My mother was very concerned about snow and they were really great about completing the work quickly to alleviate her concerns. They were very understanding and nice.

We chose another roofer based primarily on price.

The initial quotation was timely and considerably more thorough than others we had received, including many references and other pertinent information. The communication with both the owner (Don) and the office (Karen) was clear and trustworthy. The job itself went extremely well: High-quality, on schedule and on budget. The crew was professional and courteous, on time with start and completion, and helmed by an excellent foreman (Sean). We made the right decision when we chose Renaissance Roofing, and would highly recommend them to others.

Don DePriest (owner) came out within days of asking to receive an estimate on tearoff & reroof. By the time I had made it home from work for the appointment, he had arrived early and started an inspection on the exterior (it was even raining at the time). He was very professional and took the time to go through all my options, was detailed in explaining the process & materials, and pointed out all the issues I would need corrected with my current ventilation (included in his estimate). He was very thorough and even went up into my attic to assess the condition from the inside (another company that came out didn't even get up on the roof to look at anything). Unfortunately I had a major structural issue with the roof overhang that Don couldn't fix, and no other contractor I talked to was willing to do just the structural repairs without doing the roof at the same time. So I'm dissapointed that I couldn't use Renaissance Roofing because their reputation here on Angie's List is A+, and their pricing was the best I had come across. However, I wanted to thank Don for coming out for the estimate.

The company is well-run and very professional. Don Depriest (the owner) came out to make the estimate and supervised the installation. One of the many problems with the roof was a big leak in an improperly installed wood-stove chimney. A few months after the re-roof, we had a big downpour and found that problem was not completely solved. Don came out as soon as I called, found the remaining problem in the chimney stovepipe assembly and the issue was fixed by the next day. We've had a lot of work done to the house, and have dealt with many contractors, and only two have stood out (in a good way); Renaissance Roofing was one of them (the other would be Indoor Comfort Heating and Cooling).

They were excellent to work with. Don, the owner, when he gave the estimate did a very thorough job of it. He showed us exactly what his crew was going to do. He also accommodated our schedule by doing the work during my husbands vacation. Don's wife Karen found sample homes that had shingles on it that we could look at it. She called the shingle companies and found several houses that had the work done, not done by Renaissance Roofing. We were able to pick our shingle color with confidence. The crew was not sub-contracted and was certified by the shingle company. Before starting their work, they carefully covered and protected our landspacing and hot tub. Don had a foreman here all day supervising. Don came over later in the day and made his workers re-do a portion of the work they had done wrong, and also did a final inspection. Don also made suggestions on how to ventilate the attic better, and we took his advice on both things. The work was all done in one day, which was promised. Their clean-up was very good.

They first did an extremely thorough evaluation of the entire roofing system and everything that needed to be done. They looked not only at the condition of the roof but also looked at the condition of the attic and the insulation. They looked at the ventilation problems that we had including the soffit vents and the fan that had a thermostat on it. They recommended that I get a fan with a thermostat and a humidistat. They also looked at connecting the bathroom so that it could be ventilated out of the roof. The owner is the person who did the evaluation. He spent almost an hour looking at the roof. He not only gave me more information about the roof and how everything on the roof is supposed to work together, but he also wanted to be sure that everything up there would be fine. There were things that he told me that nobody else even noticed. I have been very happy with them and it was just amazing. One of the things that I liked very much about the quote is that he gave me a choice of prices depending on the quality of the shingles I used, quality of the other materials, how many boards needed to be replaced and all those types of things. He gave me a lot of choices that none of the others gave. Their price included replacing a certain number of boards and there was also a price given if we wanted to replace any additional boards. They told us as to how much it would be per board. So they did have to replace quite a few boards. They showed me what they were replacing so that I knew that they were replacing things that really needed to be replaced. They did replace some of the ventilation but I had a different company for the insulation work. The other company removed the old insulation and replaced it with new insulation. The roofers just recommended that I have it done and they also told me the name of a company that I could call. I did eventually hire the person that they recommended. Renaissance Roofing was very timely and came when they said they were going to come. They set up a date with me and they called the week before that they were planning to come. It was either on Tuesday or possibly Wednesday that they were to come out. They called me on Monday to tell me that they would be there on Tuesday morning around 7 a.m. and they were on time. There were about 15 people who worked on the roof and there was a foreman with them at all times. The owner came and went up on the roof to check the work that they were doing. They did an exceptional job of cleaning up and it was a big messy job. They were polite and courteous. It was a very good experience. I would ask others to hire them. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and I would definitely use their services in the future too.

This is a very capable and professional organization. They do not cut corners and produce a quality job. Insurance, licensing information and presentation of roofing samples were included in a very thorough sales presentation package. Inspection of our attic revealed needed upgrades we never would have discovered. Insulation qualified for the energy tax credit for 2009 and 2010. Crew members even asked if there were any questions. Cleanup was very good. Entire tear off and new shingle installation was completed in one day as expected. Phone contact person was very helpful and pleasant. They did a good job of protecting outdoor equipment near the house. This is one of the best contractor experiences ever. I would recommend this company to anyone.

We discovered a roof leak after string of storms came through over the weekend. We called on Monday and they had someone come out the same day and take a look. Don gave us several options to fix the issue and explained the situation thoroughly. He also did a free estimate of a roof replacement as we are going to need that in the next 5 years. Very happy with the service - professional and honest.

We have a thoroughly positive impression of Don DePriest, owner, of his wife Karen who handles paperwork, scheduling, and is always reachable should anything come up and is pleasant and efficient, Sean, the leader for our job, and the entire crew. A crew of ten, including six skilled and experienced roofers who are fulltime employees of the company, and four college students who come back to work each summer, arrived right on time. We were home during the day and can attest to the work ethic of everyone involved. Each person knew his job, the college kids worked tirelessly to bring needed materials to the roof and to stay on top of the clean up, while the roofers did their thing. They worked for approximately 13 hours and finished the job including a very careful cleanup. Several of our neighbors who had watched aspects of the process, were amazed and impressed at the size of the crew and the way it functioned. We interviewed eight companies. Renaissance Roofing was significantly more expensive than the closest competing bids and we worried about that. In the end we decided, since we are not roofing experts ourselves, to go with the company who seemed the most thorough in approach, the most accessible to explain aspects of what would be done, and who had the best guarantees for follow up (assuming there are no problems, Don will be back in five years just to study the roof and how it is holding up and to make sure everything is as they think it should be, which is over and above the 20 year full warranty). This company takes their ratings on Angie's List very seriously and it is obvious that they intend to do their jobs to perfection at every stage of the process from initial assessment to whatever follow-through is needed. One of the factors in our decision to go with Renaissance was their approach to protection of landscaping. We had moved into our house two years ago and have made considerable effort in this area. This is a company that has given thought to systems to protect flowers, shrubs, etc. and this added to our sense that they take the whole process seriously. In summary, this is a company that takes pride in its high standards and spares no effort to insure that those standards are met. We recommend them highly.

Thee best company I ever had. They were totally professionall from the secretary of the company who wasvery cheerful and helpful. The owner was first rate. He explained everything in detail, left brocheres to look at, and, above all, no selling pressure. he used the best material on every facet of the job. The job took one day. the cleanup was exceptional. if there was a higher rating I could give them I would.

Excellent work by a great local company. From the owners to the office staff and the roofers, everyone was terrific to work with. Don came to the house the day after I called for an estimate. He did a thorough inspection of my roof and attic and took photos to show me what needed repair. He explained the problems in detail, answered my questions and was not forceful in his presentation. I was impressed by how he cared to take the time to do some very minor repairs on the roof while he was doing the inspection. His crew of 10 men arrived perfectly on time, they covered all the plants and bushes with tarps and planks, and worked expeditiously. The shingles arrived by truck at the appropriate time for installing. The job supervisor stopped his work every time I had a question and explained everything they were doing. Don stopped by in the late morning to check on the job and make sure I didn't have questions or concerns. The crew was professional and respectful. When the job was completed at the end of the day, they cleaned up everything very well. The nails were picked up with a magnet. The men walked around the house several times to make sure everything was cleaned and picked-up. None of my plants, even those closest to the house, were damaged.
