They were on time, did a great job and very friendly.

I thought they did a better than good job. They only do roofing and they are particular. I have been satisfied. The price is in the ballpark of the others. He is a master.

My overall experience with them was excellent. They did a very good job.

They arrived right on time and laid down tarp all around barn. Crew was very professional and efficient, finished tear-off and installation of roof for 30 x 50 barn in only 5 hours. Also did great job of cleaning up afterward. Overall they did an excellent job, I would recommend them to anyone.

Don (owner) came out promptly on the agreed upon time and day for my free estimate. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and I did not feel pressured in anyway. After a thorough examination of my entire roof (and a few quick repairs with some roofing sealer on some exposed nails and poor flashing, free of charge, and with no assurance I was going with his company) he explained all the services they had to offer, and did not oversell the upgrades I eventually decided upon after I did further investigating into the products. After his review of the roof and some answers to a few questions I had, Don went to his truck, and within five minutes he handed me a very professional and instructive packet of all the services they would preform, and a computer generated color printout of the estimate and all the possible upgrades I could go with. The packet contained samples and informative brochures of all the products offered. There was also a long list of references and addresses to see the work they have preformed recently, along with a copy of his building licenses, etc. All of this material was very professional, detailed, easily understood and Don went over it until I was satisfied all my questions were answered. He left without a commitment from me, and I did not receive any pushy phone calls or emails pressuring me to go with them. Obviously they had all the confidence in their ability, and I do now as well. After handing me the estimate, Don was the only one of the three places I contacted mentioning he would put in a special low slope roofing system on a section of the roof due to the fact the house had been added onto, and this new system would be a much better solution to get the water off the low sloping section and prevent any water intrusion into the house. The added system was the same price as if I went with shingles. His information was a very helpful and now that I have seen the results, it was the correct thing to do, and the color matches the shingles perfectly. I am very pleased with the results, and the crew lead by Sean, was courteous, helpful, and knew their business. Don was on-site for any questions I may have had, and the job was completed on time. I met with Don the day after the job was completed to go over how the job looked and he did a thorough quality check of everything, and even fixed a small issue he wasn't completely happy with, and I was grateful for his dilligence. I would highly recommend them for any of your roofing needs.

Today was the first time they came out and I was pretty pleased with them. They are going to be doing some roofing work. So far so good.

I emailed the request, received a phone call, the crew came out and did the work. The crew was courteous and it was a very positive experience.

I started with a request for an estimate on the company's web site. In response, I received a phone call from a very pleasant employee, who arranged a time at my convenience for an on-site inspection that Saturday. Don the owner arrived on time, examined the roof closely, including climbing up a ladder into the attic to check for wood damage. Since the old roof was more than 25 years old, he pointed out several areas that would need panel replacement. He also made several welcome suggestions about insulation and ventilation, recommending another company. The quote (fresh-printed on equipment in the company truck -- with helpful color highlights) was very complete, listing three major bundles, as well as a la carte prices for the different treatments. Based on his explanations, I was able to request the best combination for appearance, durability and price. I rated the price a B only because I was so comfortable with Renaissance that I did not take the time to gather any others. Within 5 weeks (within the initially-promised ~6 week performance period), Don called me on a weekend to ask if it would be OK to start first thing Monday morning. The crew showed up at 7 am and proceeded to waste no time in setting up protective barriers over the first floor windows. They were very pleasant and professional, finishing the job exactly as quoted in 30 hours. Neighbors complimented the behavior and thoroughness of the crew, so I knew they were not simply being nice for the property owner. In a followup courtesy call to see if the job met my expectation, Don reminded me again about the insulation guy that he recommended. Very nice experience overall.

They did amazing work. They did a really good job. They were very competitive. I had them do the job during the busiest time of the year. It was kind of a really small job, I didn't have an urgent need to get it done, it wasn't leaking or anything. I did have to wait, but that was fine for me. They came right on time when they said they would.

They only unfortunate thing was that the day they came to do it was a rainy day and we decide to put the blower in the garage. When they were done even though they tried their best to clean up everything there was still a lot of dust and fine insulation on things in my garage. A small item, but if I were doing it again I would want them outside on a day that was not pouring rain.

When I called for an estimate a friendly receptionist answered my questions and set up a date for Don, the owner, to come out and look over the situation. He came the date that was set and called to tell me he was running a bit late. He arrived with a whole folder full of all the info anyone would want -- even sample of shingles. And a written guarantee. The price estimate was right in the middle and the communication was excellent. I chose Renaissance Roofing because of their overall professionalism. They asked for no money down and offered a coupon which was even better than the Angieslist coupon. When I called to accept their price/service the girl set up a tentative date. We had had a lot of rain and the company was slightly backed up. When I called a couple of weeks later, I was impressed with the knowledge that they were working weekends to keep as close to schedule as possible. They were on the job sooner than I expected, given the weather. They arrived bright and early 7:00a.m . . . worked hard there were nine guys on the roof at one point...and in a day and a half had finished my rather large/steep roof and the grounds cleaned up. The foreman was well informed, polite and friendly. All the workers also were top notch. And they made sure my dog was not in the way when they were dropping old shingles to the ground. She was in the house most of the time. They did a good job of cleaning up. I had a question about a part of the roof after they were done, and Don was quick to call with an explanation. A funny little anecdote: Don needed to tell me something. He knocked on the door and because of all the banging I didn't hear him, so he called from the roof on his cell phone. I used them based on an Angie's List recommendation. They were really courteous and were flexible on payment terms. Our neighbors also used them based on our recommendation so when they were there they checked with us to make sure the work they had done for us was okay. They were pleasant to work with and I will use them again in the future.

It was a pleasure dealing with Renaissance Roofing from estimate to work completion. The pre-estimate inspection was the most thorough performed by any of the potential contractors and they were the only ones to find the actual cause of our roof leak (an un-sistered scarfed rafter). The roofing crew was very professional. Arrived on time, worked as a team, and left the yard spotless. Everything was done correctly, on time, and at the agreed price.

Knowledgeable owner, courteous staff, on time, returned calls quickly, left a few old shingles on roof and scraps of paper on ground after work was performed.

We hired Renaissance Roofing to do the roof of our house based on recommendations, reviews and personal interview with the owner, Don. We evaluated other companies, and while Renaissance was not the cheapest one, they were the ones that we trusted to do the job. The quote we got was fair and detailed. After scheduling the date (took more than a month, not uncommon) we checked out their references and saw their work on other houses. The crew came on time the day of the work, did a great job on the roof (including coordinating with the insulation contractor) and cleaned up thorougly afterwards. I was present during the work and the person in charge of the crew was helpful in answering questions and directing the work to be done. Some repairs to the roof were needed and they used quality material. Also, the quoted price was the priced I paid. Overall, it was a very good experience. I would highly recommend them for a roofing job.

Our biggest enemy was the weather that was on and off again rain showers. Other than that, I was very impressed with the details that the owner provided us in the estimate, and he followed through on every one. He is also on site supervising the job. Replacing a roof is noisy and messy, but at the end of the day, it looked like they weren't even here. Book in advance because this roofer books up quickly, but their estimate in terms of a start date was spot on. Thumbs up on this business for sure! Kathy & AlAnn Arbor

The crew showed up on time and worked beyond sunset to complete as much of the job as possible. Had to finish the garage the folowing morning. Stripped and replaced the shingles, replaced 10 OSB sheets that were damaged, installed facia vents, cleaned up and hauled the trash away.

These guys are frankly just amazing. The job was done perfectly and very quickly. There were a few special requests I communicated to the secretary and lo and behold they were all done perfectly. Walked around the roof when they were done and it was beautiful. These guys are really a class act.

I was very satisfied. They did a very good job. Their price was comparable. It was maybe a little on the higher side but I had a coupon from Angie's List which brought it down. They earned their price. They gave me a referral for an insulation company. They were the only ones that went in my attic to check the roof from the underside. The customer service was tremendous. The owner, Don, was very accommodating. He did everything he could to help me out, from the color of the tiles to understanding and fitting me in the appointment book at a good time for me. I couldn't be more pleased. They still have a few more things to do. This roof is supposed to last 25-30 years. I would highly recommend this company to anybody.

Job was done very nicely and in a timely manner. They did a very professional job with replacing the rotted OSB boards, roof and installing additional vents to ensure that there was sufficient air circulation for the roof. Had to have one of their guys come back and fix minor issues that were overlooked around a gutter - they were very prompt about scheduling a visit and fixing up the items. Minor issues with clean-up after job was done - found some unused roofing nails around the yard after they were done.

They were very professional and very thorough, and I was very satisfied with them. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

I have been told that I need a new roof. Don came out and inspected my roof, found the problem, and corrected it that day. The cost I paid was much less than a new roof.

I liked that they did not have sub contractors. They did a good clean up job and they also protected our landscaping. They were knowledgeable and thorough. They were willing to put up some sample tiles on our roof to help us decide upon the color, which I thought was a really nice feature.

The owner, Don, came out for the estimate. He's a little awkward, but a nice enough guy. Didn't put any pressure on us or come off as a sleazy salesman. The estimate was virtually the same as the end price, no hidden fees or surprises. They had someone else cancel unexpectedly and since our roof was so small, they bumped us up in line and did our roof four weeks sooner than expected. They were in and out in several hours. Six nails per shingle just like they promised - you can hear each one go in. A little loud, but what else would you expect. The old shingles and nails went all over the yard, but they did a decent job cleaning up. They could have spend a few more minutes using their magnetic rollers to collect the old nails in our back yard, but overall did a good job with cleanup. Overall they did a nice job. I would use them again.
