Description of Work: We experienced increasing problems with our door opening and closing within 2 years of a complete roller replacement, lubrication, and general check from another service provider. |Precision dug right into the problem, and found it to be the ancient gearing in the opener; they showed me, and explained the options available, which included repairing the opener, getting a new system, or getting a new $ystem. We went for the middle choice. They had everything with them and effected the repair in just over an hour. |While they admired our practically antique, all-wood double-wide door, they explained that tolerances were close and that the door itself could eventually have to be dealt with, either by the door maker or by replacing with a newer, lightweight door. |With that, they took another micro-layer off my credit card and were on their way. We have been enjoying our new opening system without a hitch since. |Nice guys, professional, worked fast but did not do sloppy work.

Description of Work: Replaced rollers on garage door and lubricated springs. I WILL NEVER use this company again. The service person tried HARD to convince me that my garage door opener needed to be replaced because my current one had "broken teeth" on the gear inside the opener. Was quoted a price of $500 +. I tried to tell him I wanted a second opinion but he was VERY PERSISTANT!!! The service person also told me I needed a new spring and I could purchase one with a "Lifetime" warranty. I mentioned I'd be getting a second opinion. It took me approx 15-20 min to get the service person to leave my property. I then called Sears service - that come out, checked my garage door opener, and reassured me that I DID NOT need a new opener. I'm SO GLAD I did not waste another penny with this company that simply tried to rip me off.
