His promptness and knowing what he was doing. His recommendations was done in an reasonable amount of time. That he seemed trustworthy, and he seemed to know what he was doing. He was an expert at what he was doing. I didn't price anyone else, so I have nothing to way against it.

Did a great job; though a little on the pricey side. But it was done well and much quicker than I thought.

Justin called earlier than the window they gave me. Diagnosed the problem , gave me options , then fixed the problem . I was very happy & would definitely recommend this company to anyone that has a problem with their garage door.

It was a good experience. It was excellent. It was well beyond what I've expected. I can't believe what they did for the cost. It was quite very impressive. I expected to pay three times or more than what they charged me. My interaction with them was fine. There was nothing really unusual. It was just kind of shocking. It was just a very good service at an extremely reasonable price. They came out and took care of it very quickly.

Precision came out and gave me 3 quotes - Good, Better Best. I was told the opener had to be replaced, news springs, cables, all 10 rollers and 4 pulleys. The quotes ranged from $1100 to $1400. I then had two other companies come out to quote. BOTH immediately stated that the opener was fine with the exception of a single gear that had cracked ($13). I was told that the rollers were nylon and would never wear out and the pulleys and cables were fine. My entire door had been replaced 8 years prior. Including TWO new springs I had the entire job done for $270. including all labor and even new cables (for my peace of mind) I am outraged at the overselling and lack of honesty shown by Precision. When Two other people knew in 30 seconds about my opener and their guy told me it was shot and had to be replaced. If you call them, make SURE you get quotes from other companies as well. -- Larry Garcia

They were excellent. There were some inconveniences but they fixed the problem and they were always so polite. They never made me feel like I was the inconvenience. They sympathized with me and understood my frustration. They made me feel like they understood how I felt and they were going to resolve this problem.

They state 24/7 service but i had to wait day and a half for appointment

I was leery to begin with, due to past experience of hiring a company through Angie's list, and being over charged, even with a so called coupon, but did so anyway. This Company is a total rip off! This is the third company I've hired through Angie's List, that is a total scam. I am done with Angie's List. We had one broken spring on our garage door. After they inspected, we were quoted $554 to replace springs and some bearings. We asked how much without bearings, and were told that it would only be about $100 less, however he would NOT replace the springs alone. When asked about Angie's List coupon, we were told that was price with coupon. Obviously we refused the work, but of course we were charged a $75 service call fee. Yes, we were told that would be deducted if services were performed, but we thought that because it was through "Angie's List" is must be good, and we would have the work done. Just the opposite. Should have listened to my instincts. We ended up hiring another company that was up front with their pricing, completed the job quickly and efficiently, said we definitely did not need bearings, and..wait for it..replaced both springs for $175.00! Need I say more? Go to Michigan Door Maintenance. FYI: replacing garage door springs should only be around $150-$200 complete..do your homework!

Stay away! These guys are crooks! Called for broken spring repair on one side. Got quote to replace both perfectly good doors, openers, and EVERYTHING. Astounding! They must think I'm a moron and are used to preying on the vulnerable. Called Chelsea Door (fantastic) who replaced the spring with NO MENTION for the need for any other repairs. I've since read other reviews where people found out afterwards they had been charged 3 to 4 times what other reputable sources charge for the same thing. Seriously, BEWARE THESE GUYS!

It was almost two weeks before the door was installed. On the appointed day, the technicians arrived on time, after calling me to say they would be there in half an hour. They did a fantastic job. I would recommend the company very highly.

Called ahead, on time, cleaned up....great service

First of all, he did everything on a hand held device and I didn't like that. He saw the big spring was broken but he just wanted to sell me a new door opener instead of just fixing it. I didn't get any discount and I was told it would be %10 or $15 off. He then told me if was only if they actual did the work. I wasn't happy and I wanted a second option so I didn't go through with the repairs with this company.

The gentleman who came did an excellent job and exceeded our expectations. And the best part was it costed much less than we expected. We would definitely recommend Precision Garage Door to anyone who needs a reasonably priced garage door specialist. My husband called on a Thursday and they were out two days later and had the job done.

I could not believe it. I called Sunday morning and was told the service man would be there by 3pm. He was. Professional assessment of the problem and promptly fixed the door.

I'm not 100% convinced we needed everything but the difference in price between bare minimum and complete package was negligible. Appreciated the call in the morning to tell me they'd be more toward the late end of the 2-hour arrival window - helped me plan my day. Work was prompt (less than an hour) and the door works great now. A little shocked by the price but I got a quote from another company and it wasn't any better for what we had done.

Saturday mid-morning, one of our garage door torsion springs broke. It's an impressive sound if you've never heard one do that! After finding Precision here in Angie's List, we called them around noon. Our call was handled in a friendly, professionally manner & we were given a 2 hour service window starting at soon as 1:00. Around 2:00, we were contacted by our technician, Frank Whitson. Frank was prompt, personable, courteous & had us back in business in short order. He quickly inspected the problem, made his recommendations, prepared the quote & expertly replaced the pair of springs used in our door. Frank tested the operation while completing his general inspection of the remaining components of the door system. He lubricated key points, discussed ongoing maintenance & answered any questions that I had. The entire process from call to completion took just over 2 hours and we were on with our day. Frank & Precision turned an annoying problem into almost a non-event!

Great! The technician explained everything he was going to do, why it should be done and BEST OF ALL- did not try to find more things to charge for.

Excellent service, The technician arrived at the specified time, had all the necessary parts, and completed the job 20 minutes early. He provided three options for the repair with varying price ranges. I took the least expensive option. I had the springs replaced 5 years ago and it was "less expensive" , but the door always made a "popping sound when it was used and of course here I am again replacing the springs. The Precision Garage Door technician the root cause of the problem; the bearings. He said he was not surprised the springs did not last even 1/2 as long as intended. He fixed the root cause and provided a free five year replacement warranty. Excellent work. I would highly recommend this company.
