They arrived on time with a crew of 2 and after introducing themselves and discussing the work to be done got right to work. They took time to explain what they would be doing, the kinds of sounds and noises we might hear, and what to expect as they were working. This is an old house that hadn't had the ducts cleaned before so it was quite a challenge. They took their time and did the job correctly, showing us things as they cropped up and explaining what they were doing. When they completed the job they explained what had been done and what to expect over the next few days with regard to our heat plant and filtration system. Job well done!

The tech was super professional, and very helpful. He even got out a couple of stains that I thought there was no hope of getting out. I would definitely use them again the future!

The couch turned out absolutely gorgeous. He worked very hard and did a really nice job.

They were very prompt and called prior to arriving. They did a wonderful job of preparing work areas for cleaning the duct work with tarps and corner protectors. He took the time to explain the process of cleaning the duct work and how the cleaning went after he was done including showing us the temporary filter he put in the furnace. He gave us a realistic timeline when to plan on having the ducts cleaned in the future based on our habits and placement of cold air intakes. They were very professional and friendly and would definitely use their services again. We have used their carpet cleaning services also in the past and have been very happy with them.

When scheduling, I called their 800 number, and due to receiving service from Modernistic previously, all our information was already in their system. I was told the job would take about an hour and would be between $89-$119. The on-site folks would determine the space sizing and requirements of the job to determine the actual cost. Our condo, which has recently been emptied of all belongings and furniture, total square footage is about 1,100 sq. ft.; our kitchen, bathrooms and Master Bedroom al do not have carpeting, so the only rooms to be cleaned were the Living Room/Dining Room, the 2nd bedroom and the small walk-in closet, and I believe the total square footage of the area needing cleaning was then about 500-600 sq ft total. The carpet is fairly new (3 years old) with no pet stains or other stains that I was concerned about, however I did point out a very small stain in the closet along the trim that looked and felt like it was an old water stain (from a previous repair on an adjoining bathroom), was only on the surface and should come out easily. The only reason for needing the carpets cleaned is because the new tenant/owner is allergic to cats, and we do have an older cat (who retired from behavioral problems and accidents previous to installing new carpets). James and Dale from Modernistic came to clean the carpets on time, and were both professional. Because there was no furniture, the job went quickly and ended after only 30 minutes. The small water stain I had pointed out came out easily without needing to be treated. The cleaning job appeared to be thorough and complete. Upon cashing out, I was told a total of $128 (I'm not sure if that was with tax and fees, and I may have even misheard). I told him I thought that was a little high (I had a misconceived belief that without furniture, I would get a pricing break - that was not true), but he told me the closet counted as an add-on (room? it's about 8'x6' so this is questionable to me), and the living room/dining room combo counted as two rooms because of the size (understandable). He found a $10 coupon and applied it and said the total would be about $120 after the coupon. I signed everything digitally and thought I would be getting a copy of the receipt electronically (I did not receive one). I was not happy to see the charge that cleared my account was actually $130.95. I then called the 800 number and spoke with Tim to clarify the charges and get a copy of the receipts. He did clarify that what was charged was correct and broke out the fees in comparison to the quote. I also found out that they move furniture for free, so there is no discount for the home being empty - this would have been better learned when I originally scheduled for the service, so that is my own mistake. All in all, I am happy with the work, but disappointed in the clarity of the quote versus actual charge, and the issuing of receipts. I also appreciate the on-site serviceman applied a coupon for me, but a little frustrated that I had to complain before it was mentioned. As for quality, the technicians told me they have the best equipment, but I have no knowledge as to how well they are maintained or how they clean in comparison to other companies. This was the first time I had these carpets cleaned by an external service; we have cleaned them ourselves in the past, and it takes much longer to do on our own.

Showed up right on time - performed work as noted - two bedrooms, living room, family room in basement and stairs. Carpets looked great - took little time. I would highly recommend.

Called for cleaning of air ducts after with success with carpet cleaning in August. While I was mildly shocked by the estimated price for the service - I agreed to the base price for 10 vents + 19.95 for each additional vent. They arrived on time - did an excellent job - cleaned the vents very professionally (found lots of stuff in them! LOL!). Ended with a final cost of $335 for 13 total vents. Again - bit surprised with the price - but would definitely use them in the future.

They were very helpful and I was very pleased with their service. We had a lot of stains from our pets and their recommendation worked wonderfully and they were very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them.

Did a very good job. They cleaned some spots on our older carpet that I thought they wouldn't be able to clean.

The team did an excellent job. They worked very h****** several old stains and got them out. Many of these stains had remained after other companies have done the rugs in the past! The stains included old pet stains which I never expected to be removed. They didn't try to up-sell me the stain protection or other services. They moved the furniture including the beds that were on wheels. The team arrived on time and were very efficient. They were courteous and polite. They kept me informed of challenges they faced such as the stains and explained the additional actions they were taking. The end result exceeded my expectations! It was well worth every penny! I have the carpets cleaned once or twice a year and will definitely give them my business in the future.

They did a really good job. They cleaned the whole house. I had a couple spots that weren't clean all the way, so I called them -- they came back out and cleaned the whole house all over again! My carpets were super clean!

Modernistic scheduled service within days of my call. After walking through the house to review the requested work, they cleaned quickly and thoroughly, finishing carpets and furniture on all three floors in less than two hours. Our white carpet and light-colored furniture look close to new after cleaning. They removed 99% of tough animal stains and reduced the appearance of the remaining 1%.

I would absolutely use them again. They are good.

We were unhappy with the way the whole thing happened. He was very personable young man. I sort of didn't have the heart to write something negative. We ended up paying $100 for service call and basically all we wanted to have happen was the faucet in the shower. We wanted to be able to convert it from the plug that gets pulled out by the faucet handle itself to one of those stopper things in the faucet where the water comes out we wanted to be able to just have a pull up and by the time he was done talking. He was talking about replacing a valve and he was talking about how he has to take the valve apart to redo that plumbing and it sounded like it would be about $3000 project and we weren't prepared to do that so basically what we said well we will wait and see and decide if we want to go that expensive to redo what we want. I would not use them again.

We had never had the vents cleaned in the 12 years we have lived in our home. When they removed the vent covers, that was clear; from the looks of things, they had never been cleaned. They dove into the job and were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Our vent covers had been painted over, which they explained that they would have to remove the vent covers differently and could affect the aesthetic, because they would have to cut through the paint. It is barely noticeable, and easily corrected with some spare paint. The job took a couple of hours, and despite all the dust involved, they left no trace of it.

The provider did a good job. Got a lot of the dirt out of the stairs. Very friendly and efficient. The deodorizer helped a lot. The only thing that bugged me was that they said they would move furniture, which was great. But then when they said they were done, they had NOT moved all the furniture so we had to go back through and point out that they had not moved several pieces. Even after that, when we moved all the furniture out, there were several areas that had not been cleaned.

Very courteous and cleaned up after. Cost a little high in my opinion but competitive.

Great job! They even got the cat odor out of the carpet where there was a spot!

Stains did not come out. |Came out a second time still did come out. Wanted to charge me 25.00 a stain |I said no and opted to try myself. Stains came out with oxy clean that I let sit overnight. |Glad I didn't pay 25.00 a stain !!!!

They came during the time slot agreed upon. Adam and Tony took their time and explained everything they were doing. It was a snowy day, and they wore booties over their shoes. Even so, they were continuously cleaning the floor behind them as they progressed. Nice guys.... There was no mess since anything they got out of the vents was directly blown into their truck that was out in the driveway. In my opinion, a class job by a class outfit even though the cost was a little more than I thought it was going to be based on the first phone call I made to them (because we had a few more vents than the estimate allowed for). I would use them again and recommend them.

They were here even a little earlier which was great, the went through the house and explained what they would be doing and then gave me the cost which was what they said on the phone they even gave me a coupon for $75.00 off which I appreciated. There where to young men that were very professional and friendly and they made sure they cleaned up after and did not leave any mess, I would highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again
