They did a great job. They were here on time. They were very efficient. They did a good job of cleaning the carpets. I would use them again.

I ordered duct cleaning and carpet cleaning for the same day. The duct cleaner did not come out at all. They messed up the schedule. I paid $240 for carpet cleaning. They didn't get close to the baseboards. The rest of the carpets were clean and done well, but the dirt near the baseboard is still there. Everything else was fine. My father-in-law was here and he didn't complaint if they were polite or anything like that. There's no up moving furniture in the house so they were able to do without any problems. It's a new house and we are moving there day after. It's weird not getting to the baseboard. Their price was inline with everybody else. They didn't show up for one service, but they showed up on time for the other service. I would never use them again in the future.

They were pretty good. The reason I called them instead of my regular was because I wanted them to clean my furniture and because of the way my furniture is, they really weren't able to do much, but they did try. I will use my regular guy in the future.

They didn’t try and outsell me a bunch of stuff and all that. I’m satisfied with them. They were good. They came right away when they said they would and they did well. I’m well satisfied with them. Their price seemed fair. They had leaky engine oil on the truck and it leaked some engine oil on my cement driveway which is very new. They cleaned it up, but other than that it was perfect. I didn’t know till after they left. I will use their services again in the future.

Called on short notice for carpet cleaning. Responded right away; no problems fitting me in to their schedule. Very professional, fast, detailed work. Offered optional Scotchguard for an additional fee, DID NOT say I needed it, or any other type of coercion. Just asked if I wanted it applied. Understood clearly I would be charged extra. No pressure if I were to decline. I spent more than I thought, but it was completely my decision. Good communication between the men and I. All around an excellent company to work with.

Office staff very courteous and efficient when setting up appointment; service person very professional, called 15 minutes prior to time; knew exactly what he was doing, completed work timely.

I have used them many times, and everything including their price has been great. They are responsive and professional and do a great job. I used another company that was closer to my home, but I was not happy with them. I would definitely use Modernistic Cleaning again in the future.

Modernistic rep called about a half hour before arrival. Cleaned the sofa, back, front, top, bottom and both sides of each cushion. He then pulled out the sofa and cleaned carpet under the sofa. He proceeded to move furniture in each room - cleaned the carpet and replaced furniture on styrofoam blocks. The entire procedure took about 1 1/4 hours.

The guy has his own business franchise or something like that through Modernistic I believe. They have been here several times. The carpet always looks new like it's never been used before. They came out probably two months ago. They are on time; they are in here and clean things. If you want some things moved, they do it and if you don't, they don't. They are just very agreeable. If there is something they can't get, they will just tell you it's hard to find and let you know when it comes up.

Everything went great with this company. The crew was very polite and professional. They saved me almost $8,000.00 not having to replace the carpeting in the building. I would recommend using them to anyone.

After bringing back an old oriental rug from a vacation in Tennessee, I asked an antique dealer (a true expert from whom I've bought several nice rugs in past years) about how to clean it. He recommended Modernistic in Plainwell. It seemed strange to go 20 miles from home when the Kalamazoo/Portage area is full of carpet cleaners, but I made the call to Plainwell. ... The company picked it up filthy and brought it back much cleaner with no damage to the fringe (a problem I had in the past in another city). This was a truly filthy wool rug; I originally had my doubts about how much dirt it would give up, but Modernistic did a great job of getting most of it out, and without damage. It's now a central accent rug in my living room. While I was at it, I sent along a couple of fairly dirty wool oriental throw rugs from the house. Total bill: $69.75, including pick up and delivery. I can see why Bill Lesterhouse in Mattawan recommended Modernistic in Plainwell!

They showed up on time, did a good job, and then left. Their customer service was very good. They are a little expensive but you get what you pay for; they knew what they were doing.

They were very good about getting all the furniture up on blocks and coaching her after wards on how to keep her carpets cleaner without using some of the products that were causing stains all the time.
