Will arrived on time. He went to the furnace in the basement. He looked very professional. But what really impressed me, was that he was truly interested in performing this job and he showed it . As he checked my furnace, he noticed the filter was still clean so didn't put in the new one I had just purchased. That saved me $29. So, all and all, I was very pleased with Will's work and manner. I would certainly call this company in the future.

I received excellent customer service from the receptionist Lisa when I called to inquire about a quote for a new hot water heater. She quickly guided me through the product options to select the best model for my needs and budget. She rearranged the installation schedule for two days following my initial call to get the unit installed before the weekend, when we were expecting out of town guests. The service technician Dan and his assistant were very punctual (in fact we kept him waiting with one last student in the shower, when he arrived) and the service was performed quickly. He gave me a tour of the unit before he departed. The only thing I regret not asking for, for was him to record the model and serial number of the unit for me, but I will be able to easily do that myself.

Very well. They said 12-5 and he was there about 12:30. My furnace had not been checked for a few years, so he checked to make sure everything was in good order.

They showed up on time, were extremely professional and a pleasure to deal with.

When I called the company, they were very courteous and were able to make the appointment with minimal notice for the date I desired. The service person arrived on time and was very professional. He explained my options for replacing the filter and air sanitizer bulbs. He completed the work without any delays. I was very pleased.

This was an Angie's Deal and if I see another one I can use, I will do so-wonderful idea. From the contact phone call to the actual service, I was really impressed with North Winds. I had a terrible experience with another heating and cooling company-Wilson's and a call to Hager-Fox left me feeling like they didn't want my business. The provider replaced part covered by manufacturer's warranty. Problem was promptly diagnosed. Parts were quickly ordered and system restored to its original capacity in short time. I'm very please in dealing with North Winds. Top heating and cooling service provider. We've had an excellent experience with North Winds, from the sales rep to the installation and maintenance crew. They were out quickly, same day as scheduled, resolved the issue in a timely fashion, applied an old coupon which they accepted and gave me a great price.

They were wonderful, dependable, and efficient. They were here they said they will be here and stayed to their price. When I had lots of questions, a lady named Sherry dealt with me, she was wonderful. I sent her twenty one e-mails with questions and she responded to every one of them very quickly. They cleaned up after themselves and were very professional to deal with. It was just perfect. I have been so lucky; it is all because of Angie’s List. I would refer them to others too.

In 20 minutes, the technician was at my door and after about one hour the air conditioning is back.

I called a number of places that morning to get someone to come out to fix the furnace. Everyone was busy, apparently we were not the only ones with heat issues now that the weather is turning cold. The person I spoke to at North Winds did her best to get someone out the same day. I was so appreciative!

They are friendly, responsible, gave me full infomation so I understand what we were doing. They were very prompt about about coming out.

Arrived promptly. Called to inform me of problem and suggested alternatives with cost estimates. Had to return next day, but problem was fixed satisfactorily.

I have been real pleased with this company. The last time they were here was for furnace and fireplace maintenance before the cold air set in. The made sure everything was in working order and cleaned my fireplaces out. They also fixed my humidifier. I had a service contract with them for this service. They were here when they said they would be. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and provided me with information. I have not had any problems with their work. They covered their shoes and worked quickly the whole time they were here.

Making the appointment was easy, they arrived on time and everything went well during the maintenance visit.

It went very well and we were very happy to have heat throughout the house again!

The sales rep was very positive. She explained all of our options in terms of the types of heating and cooling systems we could have, had a great presentation of all information, answered all of our questions and had references readily available. The only reason we did not use this company was because the price was a little out of our budget but their customer feedback was excellent. I would recommend them.

North Winds sent a representative promptly when we called for an estimate. The rep (Sherie) was knowledgeable and friendly. She performed all of the load calculations and house measurements as described in the standards manual to determine the furnace size and capacity required for our home. Of the 4 contractors we asked for estimates, the North Winds estimate was, by far, the most complete and Sherie took time to go over every detail of the load calculation. Since we had a more challenging installation due to the configuration of our house and a need for specialized air conditioning capacity because we have so many windows, the determination of the size of furnace was more complex. To make a long story short, this company and rep went beyond the call of duty to make sure we got the absolute best furnace configuration for our needs, even changing the model a day before installation when they found out at the last minute that a new 2011 model would better fit our needs. Their installation techs were very professional, arrived on time, and did everything as planned. There were no surprises. The customer service of this company was outstanding.

It went extremely well. We were impressed with Sheree's approach, starting with a heating requirement calculation and explanation of various options. She was attentive to our needs and questions throughout the process. She went extra miles in helping us apply for rebates. The installation team was polite, friendly, efficient and professional. The work was first class and on time. I highly recommend North Winds heatin & Cooling.

Originally called for annual maintenance on furnace in our rental house. Service technician found significant problem, so I decided to replace the furnace. Scheduled an appointment with a sales representative named Sheree for later that day. Sheree examined the house, performed a heat-loss calculation and presented me with some options. I also asked about installing additional duct work. She called the home office and within 30 minutes, a gentleman arrived to price out new duct work. I made the sale that afternoon and the service technicians were out the next day to install the furnace and ductwork. The furnace and duct work installation took 1.5 days. The furnace was in a pretty small closet, so there wasn't much room to work. The installers also had to bring venting from the water heater up to code, since they were using the same chase. So, there was some additional work. The installers were courteous and friendly and did a nice job cleaning up after themselves. I was very impressed with the company's professionalism and products. I plan to use North Winds again this year, when I replace the furnace in my house.

We could not be more pleased. They did exactly what they said they would. They changed their schedule to install the furnace the nest day. They are really great do business with.

We had been having problems with your 20-year old high efficiency (90%) furnace, and the repairman from the utility company finally decided that it could not be repaired and was now a hazard. We needed to have a new furnace installed ASAP, since it was still quite cold in our area. I called North Winds and they were able to send someone out and give us an estimate that afternoon. She measured our windows, vents, etc and came up with estimates for 3 furnace options that would fit our needs, and spent quite a bit of time explaining the differences between the models. They were able to begin the installation the next day, and worked around our schedule. Even though they couldn't get the entire installation done in one afternoon (because of time constraints on our end), they worked late into the evening to make sure we at least had heat that night. They returned the following morning to finish up. The installers were punctual, very professional, courteous, and friendly. Everyone we dealt with from North Winds was extremely knowledgeable, and recommended the options that met our needs, rather than just trying to sell us the most expensive thing. I highly recommend them.

Went well. Had to postpone because of weather and called ahead and requested time change. Showed up on agreed upon time, was pleasant, took extra time to explain and make sure we understood how to set thermostat.
