This is what you get when you use Power Home Remodeling for your siding. Not even 5 months in and the siding is falling off and they already came out to "fix" it once. Also, they tore the flashing off our bay window and took 5 weeks to replace it. So, now the window is foggy between the panes of glass and the whole window needs replaced... Please take my experience as a warning and use anyone but this company.

Amazing! Everything is superb quality, and installation was professionally done. They consulted us every step of the way, and double checked their measurements at three different times before placing the order. Day of install, they checked size and verified style changes with us again to ensure we were aware what was ordered. Installers were fast, polite, and did a spectacular job. Nothing but good things to say about Power overall as a company to deal with, and my neighbors already were asking the installers for their business cards while they were working. On top of all that, Power’s warranty was better than their competitors, it’s a double lifetime warranty, and can be passed on to your kids, and the cost for work done was almost half as much as what two other companies quoted us.

Had our picture windows replaced. It took all day, but the workers put down tarps, cleaned up well and installed properly. A representative came out and checked out the job and offered us a price to replace 4 other windows in our living room and daughter's bedroom that we agreed to carry out. The second crew installing these windows were kind and worked hard. Unfortunately, they broke a window they were replacing in our living room leaving shattered glass all over our patio and in the living room. They cleaned up some but there were many large pieces of glass left behind that took some time for us to clean up. They broke both of the windows being taken out of my daughter's room right after that left a huge mess of class in our grass, carpet, air vents. Not sure why this crew did not use tarps like the first crew to prevent the mess they left behind. They also left the decals on the windows and with the top window being hard to reach. You see tape and tape residue giving it a look that is disappointing. No representative came out to check out the job after the second installation of the bedroom and living room. I called PowerHome and they are sending a person out in a month and half from now to take care of it. The rep asked if I could do it, but I do not have ladder that reaches that height and it is something that should have been taken care of with the installation. It is important to note that both sets of contractors said the windows ordered were not properly measured. They both said they could make it work, but they would have to fill-in gaps with wood and that it would take much longer (this proved to be very true with both jobs, and we will see how the "rigged" windows will hold up over time). During the second installation, the contractor called PowerHome to express his concern and ours about the measurements and they said that it's just the way they do things. I have other projects to be done, but I am not sure if I will have PowerHome do the jobs in the future.

There were delays. Partly due to trucking problems. The condition of the windows installed was not A-1. The sash window had a broken pane and there was no screen section for the sliding door. Six weeks later these were replaced. The workers that came to the house were very nice.

The trim installers came on time, worked a very long, hot day. They cleaned up very well. I was impressed because there was a lot of debris. The gutter installers only required an hour or so. Power is good with follow up, they sent a quality control person to check the work and also to talk about any other projects they could do for me - which is to be expected. The first contact was someone knocking on the door as they were doing work in the area. I was interested as I had some issues with the gutters.

Power Home was great! They provided the initial measure and estimate the day after we contacted them, and then about a week later, the second measure was done. We needed 8 windows replaced. Our windows were installed about 5-6 weeks after the initial appointment which has been unheard of this past year and a half. The windows look great and I am so excited to see what kind of a difference they make! I'm regretting not doing our sliding door, but I will definitely call them back to do that.

A perfect job from the start (measuring, estimating, quoting), to the end (removal and installation). Because it was a big job, a crew of four removed and installed all 24 windows in one day. We are very pleased with the windows (Pella, Power Symphony, Double Hung), the professional installation and leaving everything clean and neat. After the job was completed, there was nothing left to do, no clean up, no exterior painting, only moving back the furniture and reinstalling the blinds and curtains. We also liked that Power did not take a deposit up front. They required payment in full only after the job was completed to our satisfaction.

POWER HOME REMODELING in partnership with PELLA WINDOWS. Installation was good, installer was friendly and professional, communication was good, price was fair. Windows were delayed in manufacturing (expected late May - arrived early July). 2 were slightly damaged, 1 missing screen, and 1 damaged screen. PELLA has a great reputation for customer satisfaction so I’m sure they will take care of the issues. Overall, we’re still happy with POWER HOME REMODELING GROUP and with PELLA WINDOWS.

We had to replace a 20 year old 3 tab shingle roof. Power Remodeling Consultant, Anthony Williams, was extremely knowledgeable, kind and considerate. He made sure we understood the entire process and the materials that were to be used. Project Manager Dave was very knowledgeable and work with us to schedule the job when it fit into our schedule. Ricky, the Job Foreman, was on time for the job and kept us informed as the job progressed. He and his crew were very respectful of our property and cleaned up as the work progressed. We could not be happier with the work that they did. Would highly recommend Power Home Remodeling for your home improvement needs.

If it was possible to give “0” stars, this is what I would give. The short version: DON’T TRUST this company will do any warranty work for you. Your product IS NOT SAFE. YOUR HOME IS NOT SAFE. You will have to beg for help when the product fails, which you will not receive AND you will have to pay for anything that fails because they are scammers that absolutely do not back their work. The back story. I had my roof, insulation, and gutters installed in 2017. I have never written a review good or bad since then but, at this point, after FIVE years of b*******, I think it’s time I share my experience. All started well in 2017, excellent sales team, great customer service, excellent communication. In 2017 for my roof installation ONLY there was no re-schedule of the work. When they said they were going to be there to put the roof on, they were. And then the whole entire thing fell apart. The gutters had recently been installed before I purchased the home in 2014 and I wasn’t looking forward to replacing them. The salesperson assured me that my gutters COULD be re-attached after the roof was completed so instead of buying gutters I chose to go with the insulation. Once the gutters were removed, the installation team said they were pretty concerned about not being able to attach the old gutters but, we would have to wait until the whole roof was done to see what could be done. I indicated that would not be a problem to cancel the insulation install and instead we would pay for new gutters. So, I call and call and all and call. What do we need to do about the gutters? Do I need to pick them out? Did we cancel the insulation? What are the next steps? Silence. Then a team of installers show up to do the insulation saying, they had worked it out. Great! So, I let them do the insulation. MISTAKE. As soon as the insulation was installed, I was told I would have to fork over $3K more to have new gutters because there was NO way they could use the old ones. Are you kidding me???? I told them absolutely not! That I had called over and over was assured that it would not be a problem, I had told the company NOT to install the insulation until the roof was complete to be SURE we could put the gutters back on and this was a slimy sales tactic used to get $3K more out of me! And this is the first and LAST time Power has done ANYTHING with the customers best interest in mind, they agreed with me! And then the real fun began. My roof was installed Sept of 2017. By the time my first payment was due in October, I still did not have gutters. I’d called a dozen times in the following weeks to find out WHEN the install will happen with all the rain. I’d called SO much that the project manager YELLED AT ME to leave him alone he’s already given me free gutters and he has a life too! He will get to me when he gets to me! So, I hear I am, in my almost 100-year-old house, with a basement the floods regularly, during the fall in Michigan and it’s RAINING. And my basement is flooding. I’m doing everything I can to keep my basement dry, not p*** of the project manager again, and hope to god my gutters actually get installed. They are finally installed late October almost November. By the way, no one called to say they were coming to DO the install. They just showed up one day to do the work. No apology, no ask to write a review, no follow up from anyone on the team. But, I got free gutters right? I should just shut up and be happy. Enter 2022, the gutters that were installed by POWER had ice damning and fell off my house in February. Not one or two, ALL OF THE GUTTERS that Power installed. My old gutters are still standing like the champs they are. I call and ask for Power to come out and take a look at the damage, as they had installed them AND they should be under warranty. When is the first day they can come out to review the damage you may ask? APRIL 4TH. Are my gutters under warranty, yes they are. As frustrated as I am I’m not blind to the current economic situation. It’s hard to find people and get materials to do work. So, I say okay, gutters are under warranty with POWER it makes sense to wait. And I wait a 60 FULL days after my gutters RIPPED off my house for POWER to come evaluate the damage. POWER comes out, survey’s the damage, indicates that the gutters aren’t under warranty because I didn’t pay for them the first time and now I’ll have to pay $1K to have new gutters put on. I’m not pleased but, hey, I understand. I got them for free once before, I don’t want to screw anyone over, okay $1K. Great, they will be here to install them April 22nd. Today is June 6th, and I have had my installation rescheduled AT LEAST SEVEN TIMES. Honestly, I’ve lost count of how many times they promise to come, say I’m on the schedule, don’t show up, I call and they tell me there is an issue with their system. Every time it’s scheduled, it always turns out, I’m not on the schedule by the time the day rolls around to get my install. What makes it MORE frustrating is that I have to call EVERY SINGLE TIME to find out what the issue is! I’m an afterthought. After dozens of phone calls, I’m still not on ANYONE’S radar to help! But, I call, and I call and I call. At this point, if you made it this far into my diatribe, you’re asking “why would you even continue with this company!?”. Because my gutters ARE under warranty and regardless of the fact that I have to pay $1K they did the work and they should fix it! Last week some random sales rep called to ask when I’d like to schedule the quote for my gutters. A QUOTE FOR MY GUTTERS?????? I have a quote it’s $1K he says well we quoted it wrong and it will be more expensive we have to requote. Are. You. Kidding. Me. FOUR MONTHS WITHOUT GUTTERS. FOUR MONTHS OF RESCHEDULING with NO intention to do the work. FOUR MONTHS THAT NO ONE AT POWER HAS CARED TO RESOLVE THIS SITUATION. Instead, the call to hit me for more money. Extremely reminiscent of 2017. I did call and ask to speak to a manager (I am SUCH a Karen, I know). 36 minutes of my wasted life later the installer gets on the phone to let me know he will honor the $1K QUOTE HE GAVE ME and he will just have to “eat the cost”. He says this repeatedly to me “I will just eat the cost”. This is the same person, by the way, that came out April 4th and told me “I really don’t want to overcharge you since we put these on and they should be under warranty so, we will just go with $1K”. But you know me, such a Karen, I force him to “eat the cost” and he promises they will be here May 31st to finish the job. I was not on the schedule May 31st and no one showed up. Are you shocked? I’m not. They rescheduled me again for June 6th, today, and guess what? I called at 9am and I’m definitely not on the schedule. I assume they just don’t want my money. My money is not good enough. I am not good enough to be a client. I now have to find another company to install gutters, that should be under warranty from POWER. If you made it this far, thanks for reading! I hope you find a company that does quality work for all your needs but, I highly recommend it’s not this one. Thanks!

Yet another company doing high pressure sales tactics. This company claims to have a customer bill of rights, and they say they don't do high pressure sales, but they absolutely do with their "Efficiency Price". At the end of 2 and half hours of them NOT giving us the estimate we asked for we were told the UPS story. Sales guy "UPS used to require a signature for all delivers and it cost them a lot to keep coming back to the to try and deliver it. So, we are being efficient too, by not coming back by you signing today". OK. This and absolutely a false analogy. 1. Any company that must come back to someone's house to collect a signed contract is completely incompetent. 2. Any modern company should send the quote via email so that I as a customer can just go their website and approve the contract. 3. Worst case if you are company working in the dark ages you leave a paper contract with the customer on first visit that all they must do is sign it and mail in. On with the story. The worst part about our whole experience is throughout the whole thing we kept telling everyone involved all we want done is to wrap the wood trim with a maintenance free material and keep the aluminum siding we had painted 5 and half years ago and still looks good to us. We wanted the estimate because we saw that already the wood trim was failing in spots. The aluminum siding still looks great to us, and we love the color. We were first told by the guy walking around setting up appointments that is all we wanted. He saw some cracks in the caulk around the windows and said you need to do a window estimate too or we won't come out, but we will itemize them, and you can choose to do just part of the job. Sales guy arrives on time, but again starts with we are doing a windows and siding estimate right. I correct him. He says we will prioritize the trim project but starts by measuring all the windows. He then takes forever outside measuring for the trim, but then walks in with two huge sample bags and says he must quote the whole siding job because they can do trim with the siding that is there. He didn't ask and then he spent over an hour telling every little detail of the products they use; how great they are as a company. Gives us a national average price comparison for the middle of the road job and high-end job, and that their quality is more like high end. It is after 9 PM when he finally gives us the price and the high-pressure sign today price. It is super high pressure as well because it is over $9K less than the one-year price. He keeps saying no pressure, but seriously saying the offer is only good right now is high pressure. Then he says do you guys want some time to talk about this. Really At 9 PM? we must put our son to bed. We say we are not buying today. He drags out his time saying he needs to go to his car to get business cards. When he leaves and my wife says, “he has two huge sample bags and a clip board and no cards?” So disrespectful of our time and so much sales pitch. He also says as he is walking out the door that they can't promise anything, but they can sometimes do the sign today price later and maybe even do a marketing promotion to lower it even more.

The sales person was the only professional for my entire experience. Every appointment was missed and never rescheduled. I had to call each time for an update. The installers showed up the first day at 6:00 pm - (who starts a job at night)? During the process they ridiculed my family member sister who was looking for a chair they were sitting and did not get up. They left remnants of the siding on the front and back lawn for weeks, even though I called everyday to have it removed. I had to stop a sales person calling on a neighbor to ask for help in removing the debris. They actually picked up the leftovers. My constant calling had no results. I tried to cancel the balance of their service's - Attic Installation because I have no confidence in their ability to deliver. I am still waiting on this situation to be resolved. Most of all I now question the quality of the the work because the service was horrible.

replacement windows

Everything seemed really great when I started this process. After the initial meeting e erything has continued to go downhill. I got my windows installed in July. The crew that came had NO idea what they were doing. A job that should have taken no more than a day turned into a 3 day project that was a complete mess. From a shattered bay window on my front lawn to a towel rack ripped off my bathroom wall to cracked walls where windows were pounded out. Crooked windows, broken screens non functioning windows and EVERY SINGLE WINDOW (yes ALL 12) having to be reordered. I had multiple people come into my home and tell me they would take care of it and make sure I was compensated for the inconvenience, the time I had to take off work and for the damage done to my home. Every time I called, the previous person I spoke to miraculously was no longer available. Here we are a d it's September now. Over 2 months since my original instal date. New windows still aren't in. I'm being told that because the company already took such a huge loss in having to pay the first crew and reorder windows on their own dime, that anything more than paying for the damage to my home, is not really an option. I was then told by Sean that they are already trying to "right their wrongs" and at least they aren't saying "this is the company you chose and this is the quality of work you got, deal with it" I would NEVER RECOMMEND this company to anyone. I will wait and see what happens and hopefully the company will do the right thing . Them having to reorder windows because the company was negligent in making sure they hired able people, is not my fault and is in no way, compensating me for all of the trouble. I have had non functioning windows for over 2 months and it seems it will be several more months before the new ones are here. We will continue to wait and see.
