Medical Care Alert

Very well. It was over $300 for the year. A lot of peace of mind. One time, he accidentally set it off in the middle of the night and it worked just fine. It only happened once. Apparently, it's comparable. At first, I went by the ratings and secondary was the price. The ratings was the most important to me. I did it online but as I tested it and the one accidental set off, they were fine. Just great.

Service provider called my local paramedics and told them how to access the key to my front door. They arrived very quickly, helped me to my feet and assessed my need for medical assistance. It is very comforting to always have my alert pendant with me.

I checked them all out and they are the best. You get billed twice a year. The price is comparable to everybody else. They are not higher or lower, they are in the same range as everyone else. This is her second year with them. I have checked product out there. Some of them you have to carry an extra device with you if you are going outside. This pendent you just wear around your neck and you don't have to carry an extra device with you. Which is nice. A lot of people forget to bring the extra device with them. Overall its ease, no hassles, they respond right away if you hit the button by mistake or whatever. They respond within 15 or 20 seconds. They are good. Everybody was knowledgeable, everybody was friendly, everybody really wanted to make sure my mom was a okay, and there was no problems at all. If you google Medical Care Alert, there is no hidden fees or anything like that. The price just comes out for which package service you want and like I said they are comparable with everybody else. You can take it any were. I believe you can wear it out of state.

I did this for my mom and they're doing pretty good. We had change my mom's phone number, a situation came up. They got in touch with me to let me know that they got a signal that something was not right. They go"oh it's because we changed your phone but if it's not working out we're going to be getting back to it. We had forgotten, so they kept us in the loop knowing what's going on. Their price was reasonable. They went out of their way to find out what was wrong to make it right, we didn't even realize something was wrong. They've been wonderful.

Great experience. We have recommended the product to other family members.

Fortunately, we have not had to contact them for anything other than a monthly test. Response time varied; however, in a real emergency, I would hope response would be faster.

It worked out extremely well. The reason my medical alert went off was because the airlines made me take it off and then, they dropped it as it was going through the little screen. The service could not get a hold of me because I was in a cellphone free area. They called my friend who said no and thinks I was out of town. The police went out there, checked everything out, and did exactly what they said they would do. I was very pleased with it. I have not needed it before, but the system worked exactly the way they said it would. I have the little life alert on my neck at the moment.

The purchase process was fine but there hasn't been any reason for follow up. We haven't used or had to use the service. They were very professional with the purchase process.

I bought it for my sister. If she falls, and gets knocked out, the fall will register with the medical alert people.The price is a little high. It is also cellular, so it doesn't matter where she is. If she goes away from home, it will still work. She got one of the most expensive ones. I would give them five stars. They are very good and it does it's job.

They were fine. I deal with them usually on a daily basis. My dad is 92 and he drops his medical alert at times. It has a fall detection mode on it. I am here when it happens, so when they call, we go through the spiel that everything is okay. We pay an annual fee for the service. As far as I know, they haven't done anything that we are not happy with. We have the piece of mind knowing if something happens, that there is medical attention nearby. It is doing everything that we envisioned it to do.

Nobody's perfect and everyone could improve. Sometimes they have to transfer a couple times before you could get the answer.

They are really responsive, and that is what is important. I think they are terrific. They have always been very good. Sometimes they have to call you back and that is just okay, but they do always call back. It has been a good experience. I find them to be attentive, responsible and really nice people.

It was sent through the mail. The equipment came in the time frame that they said. The instructions were easy. We were able to call them on the phone for the test period. It was a simple setup with no problems whatsoever. I can't complain that my mother hasn't has to use it, except for when a niece accidentally set it off. She didn't know what it was. The price was well placed compared to others. Other companies had in their contract that we couldn't sue them for any reason. I'm not a suing type of person, but if we call, and you don't have anybody on duty or don't respond, that is serious. That is the reason why I choose them. I felt that their contract was more fair and reasonable than the other ones. It's hard to say when you haven't truly had to see if they would respond. What we have done with the periodic testing, they have been friendly and respond quickly. For the few things we have used them for, we haven't had any problems. Everything is fine. The person that I talked to on the phone and got the contract through was excellent. They were very informative, friendly and professional. We pay them quarterly, as so far we have been pleased with it.

They never came out to the house, they just sent the medical alert stuff in the mail and we set it up for her. It's $345 a year. I think the price is terrible, but have to have it for her, so it's there. It works good. Every time she's pushed the button, the ambulance has arrived. They're right there as soon as she pushes the button, someone is right there talking to her on the machine, even though she can't here it. But the ambulance is always there if she pushes the button. They're very punctual. It's the emergency people who are coming from her city and they're always there because it was her medical alert that alerted them that they need to get out there. She has to push it once a month and they always let her know that she's doing ok. Since they're the only choice, I have no other choice to go to, but I'd use them again. It works, it's just expensive. Be prepared to pay over $300 a year for it.

It's working very well. They get in touch with me via internet to make sure that nothing needs to be updated. We haven't had to use it yet (this for my mother-in-law, we bought it for her), but they do stay in touch, which is nice. I would give them an "A" overall. I have no reason to give them anything else. The price is a little high, but we're willing to pay it. I actually did see it because I went to see her. It has a charger and all that stuff. She's not having a hard time using it and she's 94. The representative is very professional. I would tell someone interested in using them that it's fine and to go ahead and use it.

My only complaint us that it is expensive. They gave been good. I might have to look me elsewhere.

They're responsive, the equipment is probably better except on the market.

It's really my mother's medical care alert, occasionally she sends it off accidentally, and that happens every couple of months, and they do what they're supposed to do.

No problems. I'd tell them it works fine, and if they think they need it they should do it. The workers were very helpful.

I just pressed the button to make sure it was working, instead of them calling me once a while to make sure you're satisfied or it was working okay, you had to press the button to make sure it was working. I would use them again if I had to.

The system was easy to set-up and components arrived quickly. I was kept apprised of shipping status and set-up instructions were emailed in print and in video form along with a hard-copy of instructions that came with the equipment. Like other services, users must periodically check to ensure pendant and system remain operational. I only gave a B for responsiveness and punctuality as a couple of times during the past year, it took the operator a little time to answer when testing the system. Makes me wonder if this would've been a problem if there had been an actual emergency. However, the wait time, being less than one minute, was acceptable so I didn't rate the company lower than a B in these two areas. Once, when my husband misplaced his pendant and we couldn't find it, the operator sent us a refurbished pendant at no charge and told us we could keep it if we found the original pendant, which we did two days later. Nice to have the 2nd pendant as we live in a 2-story house. Operators have always been efficient and professional. Would recommend to anyone needing this service. I can't rate them on how they handle an actual emergency as fortunately, we have not yet had such an incident. However, having this service gives me peace of mind when I need to leave my husband alone to run errands. Incidentally, I compared this company with their competitors and for the price and services offered, they rated #1 in my book. So much so, that I've renewed their services for another year and plan to continue as long as needed. I'd recommend Medical Care Alert to anyone needing this type of service.

The representative was very responsive and followed up to make sure everything was working right. The company is great at communicating with my mom and product works as described.

It was excellent. Company contacted me (caregive/nephew) immediately when my Uncle (user) each time he pushed the button for help. As well as their immedately contacting the ambulance when he did not answer their voice communication.
