Medical Care Alert

She thought the pendant was too big and ended up no wearing it. However I would recommend this company but they are a bit pricey.

We haven't had cause to use it yet here. We've had it for quite some time just at a different location. We just put it at this address fairly recently. Everything is fine. We've had no problems. The one time I did use it somebody was at the house in 10 minutes.

We had several Emergency Experiences where Medical Care Alert has to call the ambulance for my Uncle. The calls from the Emergency Operator were immediate, clear and concise. The equipment was easy to set up, easy to use and easy for my Uncle to use. I recommend this company to people when ever the topic arises. Well worth the price of service, which I did not see as expensive.

We just did it online. We have not had to use them, we don't know, but it sure seems like it is fine. The price is fair. It is fair market.

It's worked out very well. We pay $165 every three months. We have an ongoing contract. The staff is professional and explains well.

We've been using them for four years. We pay between $300-$350 for the year. For the most part they meet the needs sometimes their administrative process are a little hard for seniors to follow. Their response to issues with the system have been excellent.

We use them, my husband uses the device around his neck. It's $256 per year. We've been using them for over a year now and they've been very helpful. I thought the price was very good for the whole year. They come right away. It's beneficial because he needs something inside and outside the home. If we move across the country, it follows us nationwide. If we had to tell them that we moved, they will update it accordingly.

The cost is about $300 a year. I thought they were really good and the workers are helpful. I feel confident with the unit.

So far, it's good. We are very happy with it. The price was average. We checked around and it was one of the most reasonable. It performed the function for what she needed. If she were to fall, she could hit the button and someone would come. I like everything about it so far.

The cleaning lady hit the bar so it wasn't plugged in. I called and they told me how to clean the contacts on the unit with alcohol.

It went pretty good, I guess. It is on going because my dad is 92. Yesterday was a false alarm but they contacted, I get text message stating what occurred. I am able to call back to see if they were able to reach my father. You have to pay it annually. I think it is just understanding better how the process works by who to contact when the medically alert arises.

It's working very well. I have no problems with it other then I inadvertently hit the call button on my chest. But they were responsive and I like that product. I am 75 years old and need it to reassure my family that if I fall the company will be notified. The directions are easy to understand and have good supportive literature. I have been very pleased with the product. I have had minimal problems and they have been my fault. They are never irritated and expect that. They are punctual and prompt to immediately call my daughter, son and wife with the unit puts in a emergency call.

It is good. Mine went off the other night during a storm. He came on and I told him it was fine. I said my machine keeps going off and he said he would reset it, so I guess he did because it is fine. But, they are real good. The lightening and bad weather made it go off. We ordered it from them and they sent it to us. We called them and it came in the mail. We installed it ourselves. I am sure the price is okay or else we wouldn't have gotten it. We have never had it serviced before except the other night when we talked to the guy. They were great.

They have done work for us. So far-so good. We haven't used it, but he wears it. They were good at explaining it and how to do things. They were good. The price is like $500 or $600. My dad had a fit but it has fall detection. That was the one thing; that was the only thing that made us want to go with them, was that it had fall detection. I think it's ridiculous to pay that much but do you put a price on a person's body? On their life? I think it's ridiculous for people who would need that but can't afford things like that. They call, i mean they talk to him, but he can't hear them when they're talking to him if he accidentally presses the button. It needs to be louder. That's the people who need it: is people who are old and hard of hearing. When he accidentally hit it, they said, "Mr. ****, are you okay?" and he was answering his telephone. He didn't know where it was coming from or anything like that. They're nice when you're planning it. It's hard because you are having to do something like that, but they were helpful.

They replaced the batteries and it was very timely and quick.

They gave me what I asked for and the information that I needed, they provided.

I am still on the fence about them. I had some concerns, but they explained it. They answered my concerns and I kind of understood what they were saying. I won't really know how well it works until my mother actually uses it in an emergency. Then I will know the information they told me was correct. I guess the payment averages about $39 a month. I did an upfront annual payment. The price seemed to be about average. My mother has not used it in an emergency yet.

No emergency calls required yet, but customer service has been excellent...and I've called with many questions.

I accidentally pushed the button and received a call back from the company to confirm that there is as an emergency. Informed caller everything is ok and button must have been accidental.

Set up was quite simple, professional, and welcoming. Have not yet needed a real emergency response, but have confidence in the system.

The sales, purchase, delivery, and installation all went smoothly. Everything was as promised. Answers to our questions were available when we called and the information supplied was clear and correct. The area in which I feel improvement could be made is with the user tests of the unit. The company recommends the user test the system weekly to be sure that everything is working properly. We have had a few confusing experiences during these tests. For example one time the unit did not return to service after the self-test was completed successfully. Staff at MCA recommended that we modify the directions for self-testing slightly to prevent this problem in the future. We made the change as suggested. During the next self-test, however, the system behaved somewhat differently and did not require the suggested extra step to return to service. Overall there is a learning curve for the testing part of the procedure that the user needs to be prepared for. The operators are clearly very busy, and speak quickly when they answer you during the self-tests. An elderly person would have neither the patience nor even, possibly, the capability to deal with complexities and frustrations we experienced with the system testing. Fortunately we have not had to use the system in an emergency situation as yet. But we are confident that it would work when needed. And we now feel confident about the self-testing procedure. But there was an element of failure because we were not able to reach the point where the elderly user felt confident to undertake the system tests. Overall we would purchase the system again and are very pleased with the peace of mind it brings but we do have concerns about the ongoing testing process.

Perfect medical alert. My mother took a fall and they contacted her immediately, had help on the way and notified me within minutes. Support team is extremely professional and notification is immediate. Very happy with the device and the company. would recommend 100%.
