Description of Work: Due to a power outage our machine gave out false emergency signal. However, med alert staff alerted all the necessary people to come and help us. I am assuming the same service will be provided in case of a real emergency. We do plan to renew our contract when it is up for renewal. I also have been pleased with their responsiveness with client issues on the phone.

Description of Work: The company was prompt in providing equipment, thorough with instructions, eager to help, etc....but my mother actually never 'pushed the button' for us to use the service when she was lucid, then she became too confused to understand HOW and when to use it, and we no longer left her alone. I was grieving my mother's death in my home, etc., and did not send the equipment back as soon as the company wanted: their calls/emails were rather persistent. (She died in Oct., they got their equipment back in Dec.) I think it's probably a good service, but we didn't take full advantage of it. That's why only a 'B' rating---I couldn't really conscientiously give them an 'A'.

Description of Work: They are there 24/7 whenever my husband pushes the button. Periodically he asks them to go over what their instructions are if he needs help. We decided on a fairly complicated set of instructions and they always have them straight. Also the unit works outside some distance from the house which is a huge advantage for us since my husband is outside a lot when his medications are working, but that can change without warning.
