Description of Work: This is an on-going service contract. They supplied the medical alert pendant and lanyard that my husband wears all the time except when he's asleep. The cost was $550/year that had to be paid in advance plus $60 insurance on the device itself. That's the part that got them a "B" instead of an "A" - having to pay a full year in advance. I'd never have done it if we hadn't had them for a lower-cost service for a couple of years. This device has built-in fall detection and a GPS and it works anywhere there's AT&T cell service. The fall detection option is huge for us. They are always there within a minute or two. There are a fair number of false positives (they think my husband has fallen when he hasn't) but that's fine. Less than $50/month is a bargain for knowing that they're always looking out for him.

Description of Work: Service was excellent. My only concern hade nothing to do with the Company. It was that my Mother-in-Law and Father-in-Law would wear the devices. That they have! Very Satisfied!

Description of Work: They provide medical care alert services for my mother. It was very easy to setup. Once we had it charged up the operator answered immediately and went through the initiation process. It worked out well.

Description of Work: Medical Care Alert provided service for my Uncle over the last 4 years. The product and the staff are excellent. When my Uncle pushed the button, the ambulance was there immediately and I received a call from Medical Care Alert seconds after that. So every time that I raced over to my Uncle's home, Medical Care Alert already had the paramedics there. The service is priceless for the safety and peace of mind. | |Also, when calling with questions, the staff was always knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. My Uncle would often move the unit to another phone and not connect the unit properly along with having an old/complicated writing system for his phone service.

Description of Work: Overall, I would give the company a "B." They were very easy to deal with and the unit arrived quickly (as needed). Set up was easy and straight forward. Once installed I called the number provided for testing the unit and received immediate service. All of this was very important as my elderly father lives alone and I was only visiting to get him out of the hospital and set up at home. However, ever since then when he has called the number to test the unit he has been put on hold and given up before he was able to speak with someone. Now he's afraid that if he pushed the alert button nothing will happen. I am visiting again next week and will test the unit then.

Description of Work: I called because my Father’s phone had a loud buzzing sound and we wanted to see if it could be from the Medical Alert unit. I talked to two people, both of whom were helpful (and stated they did not believe it was the unit – they had never had that complaint before). Would recommend company.

They give me a heads up of when they will bill me, so I can be aware of that when the time comes. They are patient with me too and they have a unique microphone.

Description of Work: Excellent in terms of customer service and support. The people have been wonderful and easy to work with. My mother has not had a need to use it in emergency yet so I can’t speak to the entire process though.
