They arrived very late as the scheduling person gave them the wrong phone number. I had been frantically trying to reach someone to find out where they were for almost an hour when they finally arrived. Then the cost was almost double the quote I received on the phone when I had been exact as to what needed to be moved. I had no choice but to pay for it as the house was sold and I had to be out of it. The young men who arrived were professional and knew what they were doing regarding moving furniture. He explained that the scheduler should not have quoted a cost and then gave me the much higher quote. I would not use this company again.

Went perfectly! Scheduled online. Received call the morning of appointment indicating they were on their way. Once they arrived, they surveyed the mess, provided an overview of their services/credentials and an estimate for the work. They completed the job perfectly and were very courteous and efficient. Glad to be rid of all that junk!

It went much quicker than I expected! Staff was great - friendly and helpful. It was a little pricey for the amount of time spent, but it was a relief to have the project done.

When I called the first time there was a voicemail and I left a message. Within the hour they got back to me and told me that they would send someone out to check out the tools they would need to move the piano. They quoted a price on the phone. That price never changed. The day of the move they arrived promptly and began the move. Since the piano was over 40 years old they had to work at taking it apart. Within an hour and a half the piano was moved. No nicks in my walls and the carpet was fine. They did an excellent job.

I had a $20 Angie's List coupon for this company and called their toll free number. Upon calling the number, a very pleasant woman gave me a rough estimate of cost. She told me that an exact amount could be given to me when the truck arrived and they could survey exactly what needed to be hauled and how much of the truck would be filled.. I could then decide if I wanted them to do the work. Since I had a possible recycling source for the metal wardrobe, I asked for a price both to have them take the wardrobe and a price to have them haul it to the garage and place it in my SUV. Since the wardrobe was quite large, they told me it would cost $100 to take it and since I had a source for it, I could save by having them put it into my car. Carrying it up to my car was included int the $30 hourly charge (for 1/4 hour) they had quoted for carrying the other cabinets to the garage. The $30 charge was included in the final $276 charge and was definately less than what I had been quoted by other companies. I appreciated their flexiblity in quoting both ways since it saved me money. The two young men were extemely pleasant. They called the morning of our appointment to confirm the 2 hour window for the time frame and called again as they were on their way. They introduce themselves, surveyed what I had, and provided the quotes. They worked quickly and courteously. They turned something I had dreaded doing into a very pleasant experience. I have already recommended them and will definately use them again.

The morning of the move arrived several weeks later, and I was concerned because I hadn't received a confirmation call or anything. I called the company that morning and one of the staff members was baffled - my appointment wasn't on the books, the manager hadn't told anyone anything about it and was now on vacation... and further, the staff person indicated they do not move items, only haul them away, and they absolutely would not be equipped to move a projection tv securely. He was quite apologetic and tried to come up with a solution, but at that point I didn't feel confident in letting anyone from this company move my items if that really wasn't their specialty or they weren't equipped to handle this particular job. I asked him to relay my extreme disappointment in his manager's unprofessionalism to the owner. A week or so later I did receive a phone call from the owner to apologize, and he sent an Edible Arrangements product to me to apologize. That was quite unexpected though appreciated. I don't think this is a bad company, just terrible management at the time. Ask to speak to the owner and you will probably get a correct assessment of what they can/cannot do for you. Personally, I do not intend to call them in future for any projects.

Staff arrived on time, the business is local and close to my home so I felt I was supporting local business. They also know the area. I pointed out things I wanted to be hauled away. The staff introduced themselves, evaluated the items and then provided a rate for me and explained how some of the items would be given to charity. The staff was professional and very nice. The items were moved quickly, including hauling a heavy television down 2 flights of stairs, furniture and other items. Everything was removed and cleaned. I was very pleased with the whole process.

College Hunks Hauling Junk were very friendly, professional, and they did a nice job. We would and have recommend them.

I was not very impressed with them. I would not call them again. I spent over $600 on their services. I would not recommend them. I don’t remember about their responsiveness but I don’t think that it was bad. I think that was alright. They were here on time. I will not use them again in the future.

The reason I chose College Hunks Hauling Junk was because they were able to come right away.

I had called Angie’s List about somebody to do a delivery service and I never could get those people. So I called up somebody else. I got a real good deal on a sofa and I didn’t have anybody to bring the sofa to my house. I tried to get people from Angie’s List but nobody answered the phone. So I called a friend of mine and she gave me a number for these guys. They picked up the sofa and brought it to my house. I got an excellent delivery service from them. They answered the phone right away. They were excellent and they even gave me a discount. I get a $10 discount if I ever use them again. This is the place to use to pick up things from places where they don’t have a delivery service. I didn’t have any family member that could do it. A friend of mine in the neighborhood is in real estate and she knows a lot about these places, and so I ended up calling her. I had to give them one day’s notice and the next day they did it for me. They did come from a little distance. I met them at the place where I bought the sofa and they brought the sofa back to my house. They set it up and left. I guess it took a little bit over an hour. They had to come from where they were at to the place where I bought the sofa on Hall Road. I met them there and they picked it up and brought it back to my house in Washington Township, which is not that far but they still had to get on the freeway to get back over here. Then they bought it in which took a little time and they set it up for me. I thought that was excellent. It was two young guys, and they had energy and they were able to do it. They did extra by coming in and it took a little while. They had adorable personalities and they were pleasant. They didn’t have any problems setting it up for me and they did not complain about anything. Maybe it could have been a few dollars cheaper. Their personality and overall performance was good. They were there within 5 minutes of the time I was there. They did everything I asked them to do and everything was fine. I would use them again in the future.

They do different kinds of moving, not just moving to a new home. They even move things within the home. They were very responsive to my questions and answered all my questions. They showed their credentials. They quoted the price before they began the work. They completed within the time allotted. They were punctual and cleaned up after themselves. We are definitely going to use them again.
