Randazzo Heating & Cooling

Really great experience from beginning to end - enjoyed their sales approach and all the different touch points with scheduling, paying, installation etc - really professional group of people - you can tell they have their act together. They were also very competitive on price compared to ragtag options that came through (who don't even follow up on your potential business). We had a new central AC system installed, everything was smooth and clean during installation day.

They represent a good product, very professional, knowledgeable and in fact I have them coming out next month and signed up for the extended warranty to check it out in the beginning of the season.

They came out and did exactly what they promised. Everything works great.

Overall I am happy with the service we receive from Randazzo, despite the fact that there were some hiccups in the beginning, and honestly we keep having issues with the equipment. We purchased top-of-the-line 98% efficiency furnace and A/C units from Costco and had Randazzo install them back in October 2012. That winter we started having issues with the furnace not heating up above 60 degrees. Called Randazzo many times, they always showed up, inspected everything, but the issue continued. Finally, I called Mike Randazzo directly, and he sent the entire crew (3 guys) to our property to not return until they fix the issue. They spend the whole day checking and replacing every part. At the end they found the issue was with the electric wiring (we have an old house) and replaced the wires in the walls. Since then we've had them come out for maintenance twice a year as we are platinum customers, and occasionally for some fixes with the thermostat and humidifier; I like that most of the time it's the same guys whom we already know and who know us, and who are always polite and professional. My frustration is mainly with the equipment that keeps not performing as you would expect from the nearly $10K bundle, but Randazzo as a company is probably one of the best I had to deal with when it comes to heating and cooling.

They were good on price. I shopped around and they were the best priced. They did a pretty quick job. They were pretty courteous. I had some issues with the roughing in they did, but overall it was very good.

To date I still have no heating and cooling to the three bedrooms.

We are totally 100% satisfied and our gas bill went down by $40.00. They gave us a good price and were out in a day and a half. They call every now and then to see how things are going and how the furnace is running.

They were responsive and professional in providing us a bid, but we went another vendor who was a couple of hundred dollars lower. I would consider them again for future work we may need.

These guys were very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. They were promptly on time, covered my floors, and removed all old waste. Their work was exceptional!!! I am very impressed with my new equipment and how well they installed it. I would highly recommend this company and if you use the Costco program you can really get a good deal.

The guy did a thorough job, was very nice, answered our questions on the air cleaner and humidifier. The Company will come again in the Spring to check the Air conditioner, since we paid for the Maintenance plan. He said he will ask in the office why they told us that they would do maintenance on the fireplace. They do have a fireplace repair guy, but just for the ones they install..huh? He will have someone call us in tomorrow.

The technician repaired the air conditioner. He also informed me I needed a new furnaceand thag was going to cost $6K. I called another company and they replaced a part.

Excellent. From my interactions with my sales rep Kirk, to the installers. Not one person was less than professional. Answered all my questions, gave me what I felt was a great deal. I would recommend and hire them again.

Did estimate was pricey called 2nd company their price was $800 cheaper. Only reason I used them is because they no interest financing had to go through to get price lower. Install looks like **** bunch of clamps on my siding to route power cable Install looks like crap Unhappy Am waiting to be contacted to arrange for city inspector to come out been a month

Not well. Basically they just recommended we get a new air conditioner & water heater (which we weren't experiencing any problems with water heater). Disappointing when I wanted a honest opinion & felt like their intention was to just sell products.

Excellent customer service! I received an email stating the guys were their way and the names and photos of who was coming. they showed up on time, were friendly, considerate, and worked hard. The work looked great to us, and even the city inspectors that came to check the electrical and mechanical work said how great the work was. They took extra steps to keep the area neat and clean looking. Very happy with the results.

I used to work in the field as an inspector for a number of years and I know the quality of work they do and that is why I hired them. The price was comparable with everybody else. I did not look for a deal. I did not get anything special, but I know that the installation and product-wise, they were about the same ball park. They were fine. They were not trying to scale me up and they were not giving it away either. It is a good product. We have had them out on follow-ups a number of times and they have always been prompt. They were very punctual. All the guys that came out here seemed very knowledgeable and clean. We are pleased with their service. They offer quality products. They were very prompt in getting it installed. They have a large work force. They keep a number of people on call so it made no difference whether you were to call them at 8 o’clock in the morning or 10 o’ clock at night, they were responsive. I felt that was very important.

I contact this company because it was referred by Costco, they claimed that they will give Costco member 10% off. I asked them to come over to give me an estimate to replace the system, the first person came out and did not do anything, because his body size is too big to get into the attic. a few days later, another two guys came out and check the system. And I was told that they will call me to give an Estimate, after three days' waiting , I haven't heard from them. and then I called them, this person told me they are waiting for the city to inspector to call him back for whatever the reason. He also told me if I could go around Costco and they will give me the same discount, but guess what, the estimate I got one day later was $16000, which is two to three time higher than the average cost for the similar job , what a rip-off!!! you make your own judgement! I guess they just either don't care about this job, or trying to scam their costumers! Be aware!!!

Very satisfied customer. Installers were very nice and professional. They did a great job and went the extra mile to ensure little details were perfect.

Very unprofessional people in their customer service department! Serviceman was fine; he was prompt and repaired the thermostat . However, when I called to schedule the repair, I was told that there would be a charge for the service call but that the equipment was still covered under warranty. When I got the bill, there was a service charge plus a "diagnostic fee", which no one was ever able to explain to me what this charge was. I feel that I was taken advantage of because I was a woman and didn't know anything about repair work, which in this day and age, is pathetic! I complained twice and got nowhere; I wrote a letter to Mr Randazzo and never received a reply. So I do not recommend using this company.

I got four HVAC estimates. Based on recommendation from another trusted contractor, Angie's List reviews, and the positive experience with the sales rep who took the measurements and assisted with appropriate equipment recommendations, I chose Randazzo. The install team arrived on time and in uniform. The team members were professional and courteous and worked non stop the entire day. The team installed a 96% efficient two stage furnace with new side intake/venting, 2.5 ton A/C unit, and 40 gallon water heater. Plus the electronic thermostat with mobile app (control from cell phone). The work involved electrical wiring, gas lines routing and shut offs, water lines routing and shut offs, computer circuit boards installation and settings, metal HVAC duct working, PVC pipe routing, and chimney flue liner installation. The finance girl was spot on with the paperwork; the signature and initials blocks were highlighted and tabbed (thank you). The finance options and rebates made the decision to spend so much money easier. The lower utility bills should more than make up for the low monthly payment.

The salesman who came to do the estimate was on time and very professional. Did not try to sell me things I didn't need - and was not pushy at all. Scheduled appointment. Crew showed up over 30 minutes late. After that - everything went very smoothly. Very professional and informative. Everything was cleaned up at the end of the project.
