Tub looks awesome. Very professional, everything masked well, as we had brand new tile installed. Not a spot on any of the tile. Technician was very professional with my wife and informed her what was going on during the process. The smell was very rough and over-powering the first day. We ended up in a hotel for the night, as our small daughter's room was right next to the bathroom where the tub was refinished. I have heard the smell is rough in general, not the fault of the company applying the product. Great company to deal with.

I contacted several companies to get an estimate to have a tub resurfaced. Surface Solutions was the fastest to respond - and had the best price. Work was completed as scheduled; Rob was very professional and kept the area clean. Results are fantastic - tub looks new and fresh. Very happy!! I would absolutely recommend this company.

Technician Christopher was very professional, personable, helpful and neat. We had the tub glazed about 15 years ago and had expected a total stripping of the tub before the re-glaze, but he said we needed only a partial stripping, which helped to reduce the total cost by $40.00. The tube looks like new. And very neat re-caulking job. As we were told, it takes 24 hours before the tub can be used. The paint odor is very strong initially, but it remained only in the bathroom because the doors were kept closed, vent on & window open. By the next morning we were able to open the doors because there was no paint odor left. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend Surface Solutions. Review 3618255

This whole thing went very well. Scott was on time. He explained everything and then started to work. Job went as predicted and he left us a sheet for after care of the tub. He did a great job and we were very pleased. Have this company do your job!

I chose Surface Solutions after reading the reviews on Angie's List. The technician, Christopher, arrived and described what he was going to do and what to expect.. The bathroomroom was sealed off with plastic. The tub was scrubbed, rinsed, and dried. A bonding agent was applied and a high gloss acrylic urethane topcoat was applied. The tub was caulked. A ventilator was used to direct the fumes out of the bathroom window. The fumes were strong though and did linger in the house for a few days. Christopher was very polite, thorough and professional. He explained the warranty and how to properly clean the tub so as not to void the warranty. The area was cleaned before he left. The white tub looks great.

This was definitely THE BEST experience I have ever had with a contractor. Scott came right out and did the estimate, they worked with our schedule for the work, and were very flexible when we needed it. There were a couple of mishaps during the process that were entirely our fault, and Chris took care of them with a cheerful attitude and no charge. I would happily recommend them to a friend, neighbor, or family member. Also, and certainly not to underplay this point, the work is BEAUTIFUL. Everyone that has seen my new bathroom has been completely wowed by it. The tilework is meticulous as is the refinishing. It looks like a new room. Makes a night and day difference. This is the main floor bathroom in our house, so it's the one that guests see and it went from being embarrassing (80's style mauve fixtures, etc), to gorgeous, fashionable, yet timeless. I love it. Would happily use these guys again and would use them for every home improvement project if they did other kinds of work.

Surface Solutions was very responsive from my initial call to the company. They called me back same day, and mailed out samples of the potential reglaze options the same week. Once I had decided on my color choice, they scheduled an appointment, with an appointment window of 1 and a half hours. They were timely, though they did arrive towards the end of the appointment window (i.e. appointment window was 9-10:30, they arrived at 10:15). The serviceman was very nice, polite and did a good job on the bathtub reglazing. The whole process took about 3 hours. As I anticipated, replacing the drain and overflow valve are the responsibility of the homeowner, as these cannot be replaced until the bathtub has cured. Only minor complaint, was the serviceman did not remove his shoes, and therefore tracked a bit of dust and dirt around the house. They also did not do a full clean up after (i.e. dust from the bathtub preparation needed to be cleaned up in the bathroom and also in the hallway outside the bathroom). Overall though, it was a good experience, and the pricing was very fair. Even with my flaking bathtub, where I thought I would be charged for the prior glaze removal of $75, I was only charged for the bathtub reglaze and re-caulk. Pricing was consistent with the price specifications provided to me with the sample packet. I would use this company in the future.

Great customer service - extremely friendly, provided quote + took care of all scheduling over the phone... The end result looks really great but we needed a follow up service call to re-caulk a few missed spots and noticed the masking was a little inconsistent to the point that we ended up with glaze on some of our tiles/walls (not anything major)... Also, for some reason during our service follow up the technician threw away our drain cover along with the remaining masking. Again, they were super courteous and we could definitely appreciate their excellent warranty/guarantee and pricing.

I can't say enough about how satisfied I was with my experience with Surface Solutions! The owner, Scott, was prompt, professional and personable when he came to give my original estimate, and was happy to come back when I had a change in plans due problems with other aspects of my bathroom renovation. Christopher, the technician who did the work was one of the most professional, kind, patient people I've ever dealt with, and took great pride in doing the job exactly right. He even "talked me off the ledge" when I began to have a meltdown about an unrelated delay in the renovation. |I've been a customer service manager for 25 years and am very picky about how customers are treated, and I would have these people on my team any day!

They took the hardware off when resurfacing the tub and couldn't get the hardware to the drain back on. The technician agreed to come back out and see if he could get it to work. He ended up putting a new one on for me at a very reasonable price. I was satisfied with the experience. He was very professional and very timely. He also did a good job of keeping the work area clean. He was very solicitous of my concerns and made sure I was satisfied. I would recommend them.

Wonderful company with great work ethic and integrity!! The process from the estimating to scheduling is very smooth and easy. Staff extremely courteous and very professional. Easy to talk with and very helpful with the care and maintenance of the counter tops after resurfacing. After a few weeks the surface began to show an odd spotting pattern. Phoning the company they graciously set up an appointment. The gentleman who came for the repair quickly identified the product failure concern. The company totally resurfaced the counter tops. The counter turned out perfectly! I have received many complements on the kitchen counter tops. The kitchen transformation is astounding!!!

My tub was truly horrible. Had been reglazed sometime in the 1980's. It was peeling and pitted. The technician at this company pulled out his magic wand and made it look great. We had some plumbing done a couple months later and the plumber put a couple scratched in the finish. We made a call and they were there promptly to touch it up. Still looks good a year later. I honestly don't remember the cost but angieslist made me put something in the field.

It was a two day processes which is fine since we were not in the home yet Charles was the person who came out and did a great on the tub. The tile was great but did find issues that were missed. They had him come out again today and he was there before the time they said I had my dad run over to let him in and tried to explain to him were it was missed. Came home to find most of them missed again. The staff has been nice and friendly and I then requested for Scott the owner to come out this time and fix and scheduled for this week This time I marked with painter tape. as not to be missed again. The reason for the good rating is they have been very responsive and it does look great and the missed area's are me be very detailed and with the price I wanted it completed all the way I would definitely use them again As long as it gets fixed Thursday :) Scott came back out and Fixed the Issue. The sales representative and owner was extremely polite. I was able to send a picture by email after speaking with the phone representative. The owner took a look and emailed me back within an hour letting me know how much it would cost as I also had some cracked tiles that needed to be fixed before they could be glazed. They came out and did the work for about an hour. I was extremely happy with it.

All went fine. I am very pleased with the completed job. The installer warned me that masking tape would probably remove patches of some adjacent paint. It did and the installer informed me about that, but that was old paint and I knew I'd have some touch up anyway. Again, I am very pleased with the results. Time required for the installation was accurately predicted.

The experience with Surface Solutions was very good from my first phone call to work completion. Staff on the telephone were courteous and helpful. When the workman came to do the job, he called ahead to let me know when he'd be arriving and then showed up on time. He answered questions we had and got started working promptly. The total work time was about 2 hours. After he was finished, he cleaned up quickly, took my payment, and explained the care and maintenance to me. The finished product looks very good and so far we are happy with it. I hope the integrity of the finish will last a while, but I guess only time will tell.

I called and spoke to a friendly receptionist who was very helpful. We set a day and time. The workers came, set up a venting system to get the fumes outdoors as to not stink up the house, they did the job, cleaned up, and even came back to caulk it at a later date. They did a super job-we are very pleased!

From start to finish, this job went really well. Existing tile was in excellent condition, but was pink. We didn't have budget to demo and replace, so we decided to re-finish. We decided on a custom color...the process was all very painless. The work was quoted and started very soon after we agreed. Work was done on time. (if any complaint, it's that the serviceman showed up earlier than scheduled) Seviceman was very thorough in preparation, masking off surfaces and sealing off the area to minimize fumes coming into the rest of the house. We had a small problem...a very small missed spot, and another spot where the paint did not bond well to the tile. We called and got a service call the next day. The repair was performed perfectly and at no additional cost. All in all, we are very satisfied with the whole experience .
