Every step of a way, he was telling me what is going on and recommend best option. Came on time all the time. When my room was painted, I was not happy with the paint because it was bleeding, he agreed and asked his assistance to put another coat. Overall, very nice, reasonable, and reliable service. Will use them again.

I had previously contracted Ken Richter of NEWCOAT PAINTING to re-caulk and stain the exterior windows and siding of my home (separate report). Based on the good job on the exterior I contracted him to paint the interior. Ken and his brother, Mark, were very meticulous in their work. The drywall repair work was outstanding. A lot of care went into covering carpeting and furniture to prevent damage. Their ability to cut in corners and edges perfectly was amazing. Ken also offered some wise advice on color that proved to be be very valuable. My wife and I were very pleased with the entire project. We also enjoyed having Ken and Mark in our home for the project. It was like having good friends work on a project with you.

Whole experience went very well from 1st contact to completion of job. Response to initial contact was prompt and appointment for estimate was scheduled and kept (on time) within a few days. Ken was very professional and explained exactly what was needed to be done and what they would do. Estimate was emailed and received when he said it would arrive and work started within a couple of weeks as promised. Very satisfied with quality of work done.

Contacted Mr. Richter by email not really expecting a quick response. Heard from him the same day and it turned out we did almost all our estimate and pre-work communication by email. Ken was great about explaining options and was very professional on-line and in person. He and his coworker were very thorough and very tidy. We are very, very happy with the quality of the work and the attention to detail. Ken was also very flexible in scheduling work around the anticipated start of landscape work being done the same week. We plan to call Mr. Richter for all our painting needs in the future.

I got four estimates and thought three of the companies would be very good. I chose Newcoat because I was so impressed with the owner's willingness to think with me about various options before I even decided on his company. Ken definitely wants people for whom he works to be very pleased with outcomes and he worked on that right from the start. The job took 5 days. Ken was always present himself. He has very high standards and works in a very focused manner so the rest of his team does as well. He was willing to adjust plans when circumstances suggested some other options. He is a perfectionist and was always checking to make sure that each part of each step was done to a very high standard and he encouraged us to comment throughout the process. There was much more rotten wood than had been visible initially, and he was gracious and uncomplaining about what turned out to be quite a difficult job. He was wonderful to work with and did a beautiful job.

Everything went very smoothly. They were on time, and made and appointment promptly. Two men came out to do the work, and they got it done in about six hours or so. They saw other cracks in the ceiling that we didn't even notice, and also repaired a few other cracks in the kitchen. They cleaned up very well after themselves, and I'm very pleased with the work. I would use them again in the future, as well.

Ken returned my phone call while on vacation which was a pleasant surprise to me. Ken came out in early March to give me a quote and, after agreeing on the price, he put me first on his list to do once the weather turned nice. The job took 2 days; the 1st day the house was power washed and the 2nd day the house was painted with 2 colors. Ken and his partner were very pleasant to work with. The house looks great!!!!!!!!!

It went well. The painting was completed quickly and professionally. We were very happy with the results. I would recommend Newcoat Painting to friends and neighbors.

Ken treats your home like it belongs to him and he takes great pride in his work. He is double licensed and insured. He is a perfectionist which is truly a compliment. He was on time every morning and cleaned up at the end of each day. He also doesn't smoke..which was so refreshing about hiring him. I didn't have to worry about cigarette butts all over the place. He was only too happy to please us. We loved the paint job so much we hired him to stain our deck as well. He again did an outstanding job for us. This was a two day process. Our deck is enormous with lattice work and many railings. He quoted us $800.00 which we felt was fair. He uses the best products on the market and is expecting us to get 4-6 years on our stain job. He powerwashed and sanded many areas so the color would be uniform. He even went as far as to buy another color of stain which was a shade lighter to make sure we were happy with the shade we selected. I wish we had more money and more work for him. I feel like he's part of many family. I will not hesitate to call him if I need any painting in the future. I have already referred him to my friends.

Ken listened to what we had to say and gave good advice regarding colours and the best paint to use. He was reliable and went that extra mile to ensure everything was tidy after he had finished. We are very happy with the end result. Good man to do business with. Price very competitive. Highly recommended.

He was on time and very neat. He did all of the prep work one day and finished the entire job the next. He also did caulking around door trim and was able to match my paint perfectly with a different brand that he suggested. He did such a great job that we wouldn't consider anyone else for the exterior work, when we are ready. Before the work, he emailed a formal estimate and stuck to it.

I was very happy to have chosen this company. The owner, Ken was very friendly and professional. He was always on time and very pleasant. The paint on our house was peeling very badly as it was not painted properly last time. Ken needed to spend almost two whole days for power washing, peeling, sanding and putting oil based primer, but he did not charge us extra. Once he started to do the actual painting, it took only 1 and half days to finish. I was very surprised. Throughout the process, he always explained what is happening, and what he is working on. The painting job was very neat. He always made sure that color came out smooth and right as I choose very dark brown. I definitely would call him next time I have a painting project.

Mr. Richter showed up on time and went to work promptly. They started with patching and sanding of our plaster walls. It took a total of 2 days to complete all of the work.

We decided suddenly to have our house painted by a professional after we were getting ready to touch-up our 10 year old paint job and realized it was way more then we (senior citizens) wanted to do ourselves. We had heard of Angie's List and decided to join and get a referral for exterior painting. We contacted Newcoat Painting from the list and Ken came our and gave us an estimate. We also contacted another from the list and received an estimate from them also. Ken's price was the more reasonable and we chose Newcoat Painting. They powerwashed within the week and the next week they were able to begin the work. Ken and Lloyd arrived about 8:30am and worked till about 5:30pm the first day. Arrived the next day about 8:30am and finished all work about 3pm. They did a excellent job and the house looks great. They did all the wood trim replacement needed and only charged us for the wood so the cost was only a little more than the estimate.

Ken was not pleased with the first batch of paint he received from Sherwin Williams, (it had a Greene cast) so he bought another batch at a home improvement store and still manually color matched it until he and I were pleased. He and his small crew were prompt and cleaned up after themselves

Lots of prep for an older home. Good attention to detail. Paint looks good. Done when he said it would be and fixed small issues the next day.

I couldn't be happier, it looks great. Ken was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and accommodating. He and his helper did exactly what they said they would do in 2 1/2 days of work; 8 days elapsed from start to finish. There were several days where weather did not permit painting. At completion, I found a few minor issues that were promptly fixed.

Ken was very nice. He detailed everything he would do in the estimate. When I asked for references he did not hesitate to give me several right then. He did not require anything for a deposit, others wanted 20% to 50%. He came out a few days before he painted and power washed everything. He spot sanded, primed and caulked where needed. When he started replacing the wood he found there was more damage to the siding than he had expected and had to locate some specialty wood. He had the wood the next morning and finished the wood work that day. He worked fast without sacrificing quality. During the walk around inspection he noticed problems I saw before I said anything and fixed everything quickly. He did an excellent job. Final cost was slightly higher than original quote because I requested additional work to be done. I highly recommend him.

Newcoat performed the work within 1 week of giving me an estimate for the work. Ken patched all the nail holes and repaired some drywall cracks and imperfections and also caulked around gaps between heat registers and the walls. He completed the work in about 7 hours, applying 2 coats of paint to all the walls and ceilings. I was very happy with the final result.

I was very pleased with this company. My house looks better than when I purchased it now. It took them about two and a half days to finish. There were two guys doing the work. Also, when I called them for an estimate, they came out right away.

A representative came by to discuss the work to be done. He agreed to send his estimate. He never sent an estimate.

Ken and his assistant did a fine job. Ken paints your home as if it were his home. They were prompt, courteous, and neat.

They were very nice guys, neat work, if there was a problem with something they took care of it without reservation. They did a good job and were quick. It only took them two days, and their price was reasonable.
