The experience with them was okay. It was weekend and it took them a long time to come, but they did a fine job.

They arrivd when scheduled and performed the maintenance on the generator. I was prepared to pay them for the annual service, but they reminded me that I had already paid for three years of service when we purchased the generator. I had forgotten this fact. Dealing with them had been great from the installation through the first year service. We have recommended them to others in our neighborhood. When I need furnace or A/C work they will be my first call.

They had the wanted generator in stock and did an install the day after Christmas 2012. They arrived exactly on time and spent the better part of the day doing a complete install. They were exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. They cleaned up after their mess and provided a complete explanation of how the unit operated. They said they use only factory trained full time employees. My wife and I were very impressed and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They have an annual maintenance program and are available 24/7 for emergency calls. The generator has run purrrrfect on all it's weekly 12 minute test runs to date.

The tech showed up right on time and got right to work. He was very professional and extremely nice. He found the problem pretty quickly (our handyman had flipped a switch he thought was a light switch but ended up being the switch to the furnace). However the tech told me he would feel bad if I had paid the full amount and all he did was flip a switch so he checked a whole bunch of other stuff. He told us our filter was the wrong size, told us how the humidifier worked, how to shut off and turn on certain areas of the house in the ducts, etc. He made sure our A/C was working correctly. We learned so much that day!! . Kelley Brothers were the only HVAC company that was willing and able to come out within 24 hours of our call on a super hot day when I'm sure they were swamped. A+ service from beginning to end. I've recommended them to neighbors who have used them and were equally impressed.

I called Kelley Brothers when I got the run around from another authorized Generac authorized service center. Despite having a 17 KW auto switch over generator, I had only 50% of my home electrical working. It had fired up for the power drop and then when the power went back on from DTE, the generator shut off but only part of the house was powered. Naturally, this was the refrigerators, freezers, garage and other vital parts of the house. I called my normal representative and they called back saying their tech would call, but he never called. I went back and forth with them for most of the day when they told me I was scheduled for July 8th (1 week later for emergency service). I went home from work early and did the research and found the Kelley brothers on the Generac company website. I called Kelley Brothers at 4:29 pm today and beginning with the lady answering the phone EVERYONE was responsive. My loss of power was important to them. They said how much it would be and they would send someone right over. Honest go God, in 21 minutes, the tech (Greg) was knocking at my door. He had already read my generator maintenance and performance information from my unit and assessed things before he knocked. He removed his boots, and went right to the basement and had the issue figured out in 7-10 minutes. One quick trip out to the truck and a few more tests and the thing was fixed, assessed and the credit card charged. He did not rip me off or over inflate what he did. I am glad he put his stickers on my panel because they are going to be my go-to peeps for electrical needs from now on. Their boss is going to come and give me an estimate on trenching for a conduit to power my boat hoist and illuminate the flag pole. I also have outside low voltage lighting for the front and a few other things I want done. I have a lot of experience with contractors and this guy was professional and focused yet friendly. Unlike the other contractor, this contractor gets the idea of an EMERGENCY call for generator malfunction. They did not dismiss me like the company I spent about 14K with over the last 3 years They are my new contractor of choice.

They fixed the problem and showed us what was happening. Of course it happened again! Hopefully the squirrel entry is sealed

The AC stopped working. I found their contact info from Angies' list. My call was taken very politely and I was provided with an appointment within two days. I was also told that there would be a charge of $79 for diagnosing the problem. The technician arrived in time and identified the issue. He provided a form where it clearly identifies the cost the repair, upon my acceptance he went ahead and fixed it. t took less than 15 minutes for him to identify the issue and fix it and leave.

He came out and check the system. over and found that the freon was low. It was serviced and stayed to make sure there were no more problems. Job well done.

All went very well, they started on time, the crew was professional and the owner of the company went that extra step to ensure customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company

Kelly Brothers are an excellent example of how a service provider should operate.

They quoted me a price which I thought was very high. They also said I needed a larger unit than necessary. I called my son-in-law and he referred me to a different company who gave me an estimate more than $1,000 less than Kelley Bros. I consider that significant. They ended up installing the unit the next day and also included cleaning my furnace, running a water line for the humidifier and cleaning out my ducts. The other company was superb. I felt like I was being taken advangtage of by Kelley. The owner actually showed up after calling me to come out when I hadn't returned the call. I will say their office person was great. She was courteous, friendly and helped me replace my airconditioning filter in this office before anyone came out. The representative had told me that I needed I think a 2 and a half ton unit and he would have to check the numbers on the unit to make sure. The other company said he already knew what I needed as it was written in black and white on the old unit they looked at. That's when I was really angry. Kelley Bros. was nice, but $1,000 difference???? Why, because I'm a woman???? Thanks to my son-in-law.

Their service tech, Greg was super friendly and seemed very knowledgeable -- he certainly was able to answer all my questions. We had a different tech from the same company perform the maintenance last year and had a great experience too.

One serviceman arrive on time, did the work, proved to me that it would successfully switch between electric & using nat. gas to generate power (had to reset several clocks), wrote up his work/results, then left my payment. The total work time was approx. 2 hrs.

They did an excellent job. The person that came was very professional, courteous and explained everything to me. He showed me the part that was broken and how long it would be gone to get it. He was well within time frame. I felt that the price was worth it. He gave me his cell number in case you need anything.

We purchased an older home that needed a lot of work in several areas. We met with Pat Kelley and Steve Holcomb in November to review what was needed and possible options to resolve our problem (all systems were very old and inefficient, AC units were essentially nonfunctional). Kelley Brothers submitted their bid (which was very specific and very reasonable compared to other bids we had received) and were open to our suggestions/ideas (example: using new NEST thermostats instead of their usual products). We accepted their bid, work commenced in December. The Kelley Brothers work crew arrived... and worked for a week. They were punctual, pleasant, easy to work around (we were staying at the house at the time) - we have recommended them to others and will continue to recommend them. Our neighbor had Kelley Brothers install a generator shortly after we had had our work done. They had noted the work on our home, had been considering this project but hadn't found a company they felt comfortable with - until meeting Steve and looking at the work at our home. Great experience here. Pat and John Kelley ( the brothers) were both onsite to monitor the project, answer questions and follow up. David (the electrician assigned to our project) was very easy to work with. Office staff (Kim and all) were quick to return phone calls and pleasant to interact with. Highly recommend!

We have been very pleased with them, otherwise we would not have called them back a 2nd and 3rd time.

The generator battery did not appear to be charging. The technician determined that the battery charger was at fault and replaced it. We received same-day service and were happy with the repair itself. Our complaint is that we were charged $225 for a battery charger that can be bought for $130 (or less) online. This was on top of the $125 charge for the service call. I spoke with a manager the next day and was told that the $225 charge was for both the part and labor, a flat rate recommended by Generac. But the actual repair took only about 10 minutes. The manager also stated that their chargers are "certified" (as if the chargers advertised online as manufactured by Generac were counterfeits) and cost Kelley Brothers more than $130. I find that surprising, and if accurate, suggests Kelley Brothers is not as aggressive in negotiating with Generac as the company is in charging its customers. My impression is that we were charged $125+$95 = $220 for approximately 30 minutes total of labor, including diagnostics, which seems exorbitant, even if ones adds to that time the round-trip drive time of half an hour. Given our satisfaction with the repair itself, the company could have earned my loyalty and an A grade here simply by charging us a fair amount for the part and treating its 10-minute installation as included in $125 service call. As it is, I am disappointed and will be wary if I deal with Kelley Brothers again.

I found my Generac 15KW generator had missed several weekly check starts. I myself checked the spark plugs, spark, oil, filter, wiring, etc. and found all OK. Cranked fine, but no start. Called Kelly Brothers on Friday and they had a technician out 11 AM on Monday which was fine with me. He again checked everything as I had done and concluded that it was not getting any gas to the carburetor. I myself 'don't mess with gas'. Reaching in and to the gas regulator at the back of the case, he turned some knob on the gas regulator and to my surprise the generator started. He said, "Your gas regulator was stuck." Then he adjusted the gas regulator so the generator ran at a nice constant speed. He said, "Your generator may work fine forever now, this sometimes happens." "If it sticks again we will likely have to replace the gas regulator." Thank goodness the generator has been working great for over a month now. Starts every time. This is my second service experience with Kelly Brothers and my generator. They are Factory Authorized, have service manuals in their trucks and know generators. Obviously a lot of experience and training as they waste no time in finding and fixing the problem. It took about an hour to get the job done. Also, they have no problem with me watching, answer my questions, and tell me what they did to fix the problem and what we may need to do in the future. I like that. Their service call promptness and charges are fair in my estimation. One more thing, they put things back properly, and leave the 'work scene' as they found it without trampling my flowers or shrubs near the generator.

The guys where at my house at 7:30 am like I was told. They where polite, layed drop cloth down from my back door to the panel box, job done very neatly inside the house and out. Inform me on the operation of the unit and went with me room through room on hookup.Would definitly use again.

Mike Rooney, the sales rep, provided us with three detailed estimates of generator choices. He was the most knowledgable of the three reps that gave us estimates from their companies. He knew the zoning requirements of our city as to placement and installation. Once we chose the generator that fitted our needs, he called immediately for the installation date. The installation was done by a master electrician and two other very qualified installers. They arrived as promised and worked diligently and professionally. They were careful to hook up the circuits we chose correctly. We received a demonstration of the generator in action. The installation exceeded our expectations. Not only was everything done well, but they cleaned up so that you never knew major work was done in and outside the house. We will probably transfer our furnace and air conditioner check-ups to this company.

They came out to give us an estimate after we'd called them on the advice of several friends. We were happy with the estimate and signed a contract to have the work done. They came exactly when they said they would, did an absolutely WONDERFUL job, and finished when they said they would. They also found a couple of unrelated problems while doing the work. For example, they noticed that our dryer vent was 30 feet long and that it had two 90-degree turns. It was completely full of lint, which explained why the dryer never really dried the clothes (we had just moved in). Two of their guys removed the vent line and vented the dryer to an adjacent wall that was only about six feet away. And they didn't charge us for it! All-in-all, in the 40+ years we've been married, this was the best experience we've ever had with a contractor. We have recommended them to several friends, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants a quality job done on their home.

They have a great sales presentation. They are very professional. I feel they did excellent work in all phases of work with me.

He was running late and missed the appointment. The next company had already arrived so he had to come back later. He was really knowledgeable and provided me with great information. They were unable to schedule an install until the next week. If time had not been an issue, I would have used their services.

I got to know them through the manufacturer of my generator. A couple of other generator companies I talked to, one of them had a really bad rating on Angie's List. It was really the way they handled the call when I called them. It's a family owned business, which is what I look for. The owner came out and their level of service was good. My experience was excellent from start to finish. They are extremely professional. They rolled out turfs when they were in the house, they wore booties, and I didn't have to babysit them. They all are the most educated electricians one can get. The level of the professionalism is the highest. They aren’t cheap, which is really good. Basically, price is just the value.

All of the technicians and sales staff is wonderful, professional and knowledgeable. We would give them our highest recommendation.
